The new Coria Trainer gave a nod to the Professor, understanding the task at hand. This was not the first time she would be starting out on a new venture, nor would it be the first time she would be catching a Pokemon. For the purposes of this journey though, Madison knew she had to start all over again if she were to gain any true experience while here. Taking the 3 Pokeballs in hand she started forward looking around.
"Hmm... no... no... too weak... too proud... too playful..." She would mutter to herself as she evaluated Pokemon at a glance.
Seems I'll be here all day... "Huh?" Her thoughts were interrupted as she overheard a bark in the distance. That sounded familiar, as there used to be a pack just outside the Saffron City limits.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say that was the sound of a wolf pack..." She said with a smile. More specifically, a pack of Houndour. Picking up the pace, she dashed off deep in to the refuge
Now alert, Madison listened closely and searched for any signs of the pack. If there was one in the refuge, she wouldn't be surprised if there were more. Houndour always tried to travel in packs and communicate with one another. Surely it had found others here.
"There!" She heard it again, and ran for the clearing, ducking as flames flew overhead. The cries she had heard before were signs of a battle, apparently one for dominance between two Houndour trying to start a pack while stuck in the refuge. One's embers had just barely missed the girl in the head, though she was already quite impressed with the heat of those flames at such a young age.
Though it's attack was off, the strength is notable... The trainer thought to herself as the other Houndour was quick to land back on its feet. The other was quick, and agility would be another thing for her to factor in. She continued to watch the fight.
The one on the offensive before took a chance for attack and lept for it's opponent as it tried to counter the previous attack, but at the last moment pulled off a reversal, landing a serious blow to the first Houndour.
Yes, that's it, show me what you've got! The trainer thought cheering on, scouting them both as the other began to engulf itself in flames.
"What's this...?" She said rather curiously. It already knew Fire Spin? Surely enough it did, as the Houndour unleashed a fair sized vortex around the other. The other became trapped, and was starting to look tired. This might be it... but things weren't over yet. With one final leap the burning Pokemon sunk its teeth in to the opponent, giving off a shock of electricity.
"What?" Madison was amazed. That surely was Thunder Fang! But only a select few Houndour should know this move without prior training... unless...
Breeding... Your parents must have been amazing. She thought to herself as the opponent collapsed fainted. It hadn't seen the electricity coming from a mile away, and that right there helped clinch the victory for the other Houndour. Surely enough, this Pokemon had earned its right as leader of the refuge pack... ... but Madison had other plans for it.
Turning her back to the fainted Pokemon she now focused on the powerful Houndour Alpha.
You're mine... The trainer quickly pulled out a pebble and flicked it at the Pokemon's ear, catching a quick leer from it and its full attention.
"Houn dour!" it barked in threat. She merely felt a smile growing on her face at the Pokemon's inner fire. This should be fun...
"Come get me!" She called out to it taking a readied stance, Pokeball in hand. And with that, the Houndour pack Alpha ran at her, teeth ready and showing as small flames engulfed them.
"Not, so fast!" Madison cried as she side stepped its lunge and took it by the neck, forcing it down on its side and holding it in a locked position.
"You aren't the first Pokemon I've had to wrestle, and you certainly aren't the strongest!" She announced with a smile and clenched teeth,
"But you have potential. Together, we might learn a thing or two. I'll show you what it means to be a real Alpha." She said before releasing it from the lock. Quickly the Houndour jumped back and took another readied stance, the trainer doing the same after setting a Pokeball down between them... and they stared each other off.
".... So.... what's it gonna be?" She spoke with a rather flat tone, awaiting Houndour's choice from her ultimatum. The ball was right there, an open invite to get in if it so chose.

Madison's smile only grew at this,
"I would have been disappointed if you had been that much of a pushover. Now really, let's get down to business." she said in a smirk before running forward. Grabbing the Pokeball in her hand she continued towards the Houndour as it began to charge her again. This time just short of it though she ducked as it jumped, and threw her back leg up until her foot collided with its side sending it off until it collided with the dirt. The Pokemon growled before opening its mouth unleashing a blaze of embers at the trainer.
There was a shriek as they hit her, even with her shielding much of the heat with her arms. She certainly felt it, and saw that parts of her jacket were on fire. Patting them out she didn't watch at the Pokemon was back on its feet charging her.
Not good... she thought as she caught a glimps of it just before being thrown backwards by the impact.
The girl wasn't done though, she rolled on her back, launching both feet in to the air with the Houndour under them, and watched it collide with a nearby tree trunk. As it fell towards the ground Madison threw the Pokeball from earlier. (( Heading to work, so I won't be able to do more and/or send a profile if I caught it this time until after my shift.   ＴＨＥＭＥ: Happy ♬ Sad ♬ xxxxx ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ: Refuge xxxxxＯＢＪＥＣＴＩＶＥ: Starting a new adventure xxxxxＣＨＡＰＴＥＲ: Ⅰ - Big Adventure
Etheria smiled brightly before entering the Refuge with a spring to her long step. Combing through the shallow grassy areas she saw many pokemon, but not the one she wanted. Sighing she got a bright idea, pulling out her pan flute she started her soft song...
After a few hours of playing she looked up to the pokemon that hopped out. Her song was taught to her by her grandmother during one summer when she was a child, her grandmother had said that only the pokemon which reflected her inner soul would be attracted by the song. She stood and as the small Igglybuff made its way towards her, she took note of its brighter than normal pink velvet fur.
"Oh...aren't you a sweet little thing. Wanna see if you can keep up with me? I know a few songs that could really mess you up..." she said with a mysterious smile.
The Igglybuff started singing, Etheria immediatly picked up the tune and played it as a round. After a few bars Etheria started picking up the tempo causing the small Pokemon to start to fall asleep. Sesning its own drowiness the Pokemon shook its head and when that started to fail, slammed its own head into a nearby rock...Etheria stopped playing after it fell to the ground. Chuckling at the poor thing for being so cute and stubborn she tossed a poke-ball and waited...

"Meh," he said, taking the pokeballs and the pokedex, "today's catch should be interesting." Brach wandered a little into the area scanning around with his eyepiece. Pokemon of all types could be scouted with ease, so it wasn't too much trouble to filter out the ones he didn't really want to find. "Why don't we start with a psychic pokemon?" he said aloud, to himself. His plan was already formulating- use the strength of a psychic to help him capture a team of fighting pokemon.
Of course, a psychic that had an evolutionary pattern to a fighting hybrid was all the better. Why not start with a male Ralts? Setting his scans to ensure psychic only, it didn't take long to find one. His deadened emotions may not be very obvious, but in this case it helped him sneak up on the Ralts, who got rather scared by his presence almost immediately. Dashing rather effortlessly with a jab, Brach attempted to leave a quick attack on the psychic pokemon. He didn't want this one to get far...
Being quick to the attack, Ralts was unable to get out of the way. But its fear could only let it growl in response. Brach seemed to just shrug it off, leading in for another quick attack of his own. The poor Ralts didn't really have any real response for that, looking somewhat hurt by the sudden attack, and shock of being snuck up on. Brach tossed a pokeball after that, figuring this should wrap it up.

『I agree completely, Let's do that~!』  ⊰ Luke followed the professor around, a wide smile spread across his face. He was in his element, following somebody around and enjoying himself. When she gave him the pokedex, pokeballs and instructions on catching pokemon. ''Thanks~ the male chirped happily, before turning on his heel and heading out to find a pokemon he liked. Maybe he should get something that evolves to be big? Would make carrying around the wares he gets sent from his family easier. Maybe a Camerupt? Until he got something like that, he'd be carrying around a very bloated bag filled with all sorts of items. Luke was regretting leaving home a bit already. But the pros would obviously come to outweigh the cons.
As Luke explored, he passed off many friendly pokemon. They were nice, but he really couldn't see himself with a Tediursa or anything. If he had to choose, he'd pick an Ekans or Seviper. Something snakey. He always enjoyed snakey pokemon. Of course, that counted on Luke being so lucky to find an Ekans going about, what were the odds of that? And at that moment, an Ekans slithered into view. Luke would be nothing but a lost idiot without that good sense of luck he had. Good ol' Lucky Luke. ''Hey there snake pal~ Why don't you come with me for a while, sounds like fun, huh~?'' called out the male, as he jogged over to the pokemon, who just gave the strange man a funny look. As if to say ''...Who the hell are you?''. Of course, Luke was oblivious to this, and instead decided he would try out a pokeball. ''Go! Divine Sure-Catch Pokeball of Champions~!'' announced Luke, as he gave an overly dramatic pitching pose, followed by him launching the little ball full force at the startled snake. What a start to the day it was for the little guy. ⊱【〖ＯｏＣ: 〗 】

『I agree completely, Let's do that~!』 ⊰ Luke glared at the little snake, annoyed that it was putting up a fight. And at the same time, the Ekans glared back at him, which unfortunately left him paralyzed. ''Ack-!'' Luke cried, as he fell flat on the ground, unable to move. His face in the dirt, a voice sounded. ''...You win this time, snakey''. And Luke was left there to struggle and wait off the paralyzation. If he were a smart man, he'd have borrowed one of the paralyze heals from his bag of merch, but he was far from a smart man.
Eventually, he was back on his feet, and determined to catch that Ekans. After more hunting about the place, he eventually found it in a tree, wrapped around a branch. ''Hey~! Get down from there, we can't be friends if i can't reach you!'' cried Luke, before he attempted to climb the tree anyway. No other choice. And once he got up there, after a few near slips, he was carefully inching his way across the same branch the Ekans had nested on, with no idea what he was going to do next. ''Got you this time, buddy~'' The male said, quite prematurely, before getting hit with another glare off the snake. ''Not agai-Ack!'' exclaimed the male, as he was once again paralyzed, this time left to fall forward off the tree. He landed face first, and again found himself buried in dirt. Again, his muffled voice sounded out; ''...I see the flaw in my plan.''. This time, a paralyze heal fell out of his bag, evening out his lucky streak yet again.
Luke was not giving up. He had to catch this Ekans. He looked around, and found a small boulder, at least the size of his torso. The extent to the man's wit was finding a big rock he could barely pick up, and then chuck it. Well done. And with a well-placed shot, he was able to hit the branch where it connected to the tree, breaking it clean off. This time, the Ekans was the one to fall to the ground, with it's face in the dirt. Oh, how sweet revenge was. ''Wanna put up a fight even after falling off a tree like that? Let's hope you have the tenacity i do then~!'' Announced Luke, just having to get a dig in. It didn't occur to him that still kind of was an insult to him, but however. After exclaiming about the ''Divine Sure-Catch Pokeball of Champions'' once more, Luke hurled a pokeball at the snake, as it struggled to pick itself up, in a daze. Again, it was some start to the day for the little guy. ⊱【〖ＯｏＣ: Drat, i was banking on catching it by surprise. Oh god, no pun intended D: 〗 】

"Make sure this guy get back home, he's much to violate to hang around the other pokemon here." he said. The employee thanked him and walked off. Outside Siegfried could see many trainers battle and catch nearby pokemon. {This inspires me to take a shot at the league again} he joked to himself. With his job done he decided to take the long journey home, to relive his old adventure. (( Madison Speicher has moved out of the Refuge and in to Willocove since then, as most starting out trainers do after they are alerted of their successful capture. Due to this, I can't acknowledge she was spoken to while at the Refuge. You'll need to catch up with her in Willocove smile
Also it would have caused conflict running in to her Father in the refuge if she had still been there when he went for his Capture. So I can't go and edit out her Willocove post to put her back here...))

 Kenji Umi - Breeder - 16 - "Trainer,maybe. Breeder,yes." Inventory - Pokeball x6 After getting waved through Kenji walked through the Pokemon habitat. He looked around and saw many unique Pokemon,all were great in their own way. One Pokemon caught his eye tho. "Oshawott." it kept saying as it walked along waving a shell around. Kenji liked this Pokemon,he didn't know why but he did. Kenji quickly ran along ways ahead of it. As he was a good bit ahead of it he dug a hole in the ground with his hands, he then placed leafs over it to hide it. He then ran behind some bushes to hide and wait. Then it came. The Oshawott fell in the hole. "Yes!" Kenji yelled. He then grabbed a branch,jumped down the hole, and beat the Oshowatt to a pulp. He then threw a Pokeball and waited.
