Wash had been giving Sally a tour of Deus, and it had taken him quite some time to make it to where all the commotion was. Once they did however, Wash blanched. A dragon, that reminded him strongly of the pheonix from the Horseman isles... "Don't just stand there!" Sally didn't take her eyes off the great beast, snapping at Wash even as she stood protectively in front of him. "Get me out of this body!"He obediently slapped his wrist...and nothing happened. His weapon turned around, ready to give him a good what-for - and stopped, mouth agape. He was slapping at his wrist frantically, but nothing was happening. A cold horror settled in her bones. "Whatever, ok? Just stick close to me, we can do this." She tried to sound more confident than she felt, and grabbed his hand, pulling him into the fray. It was then that she noticed the hunters and weapons who were on fire. She squinted at one particularly squat figure - she'd seen them...somewhere... "SALIVA!" Oh Jack, it was that ghoul from the cafeteria! Dragging Wash behind, she frantically ran toward the group, one hand out, clenching and unclenching her fingers. She didn't know what to do. Candlejack, this body was useless... "Stay here, try to help them," she commanded, shoving Wash at the injured pair. She took up a position in front of them, tiny hands balled into fists, and took a swing at the fog. HP: 40 Damage: 2 Boss: 122 fixed

Tenya gasped, unable to react in time as a fellow weapon struck her and Otto. Both fell to the ground, rolling in agony as blue flames began to consume them. Otto seethed, cursing Rue's name to Hell and back. How dare they! Dakota and his weapon were on them after that. Otto may have been a d**k most times, but he'd never strike his own in a battle. He and Tenya would deal with this horrible fire on their own. "s**t." He hissed, still trying to bat the flames off himself, while Tenya rolled around the ground over and over.  HP: 41/50
Status Effect: Got Flame Herpes from Rue/Ofelia

Wash stared at Saliva and Melvin in horror. They were on fire. Sasha was on fire, the skin melting from her bones...He took off his scarf and coat, trying to help, trying to beat out the flames. Trying not to lose what little remained of his sanity. Sally was too busy to notice - a sentinel, guarding the downed pair even as Wash frantically tried to help. DEFENDING SALIVA/MELVIN FOR 2

While Jinhai was combating with the monster, Gale was still kneeling on the ground, gasping in pain and trying in vain to get some of the flames away from his. The FEAR shield prevented them from actually burning his skin, but it still felt as though he were being burned, and it the pain was excruciating.
A voice could be heard somewhere overhead, panicked and anxious. Something dropped down over his shoulders, smothering a few of the flames, but not getting rid of them entirely. Gale tried to get his gaze back into focus.
"...Candace?"

It had taken Jerry and Roar some time to answer the emergency call, but judging by how they hurried to the battlefield together without shoving or name calling, things had at least improved between them. Besides, there were bigger fish to fry currently. "Alright, meatbag, you wait back here-" Roar grumbled, cracking his knuckles. How did one punch fog? He growled. Meatbag didn't count as name-calling. Jerry had come to view it as a pet-name, really. He wanted to argue, to rush in with him but the Howler was shrugging off Jerry's coat for better movement, and leaped forward snarling with his massive fists swinging and spines spread to rip into the fog with a mighty and guttural howl. "B-BE CAREFUL!" He shouted uselessly, twisting his hands before spotting fire ripping through the air, Candace at the side of a poor small hunter that had caught fire. "Oh, hell! He snatched up the coat, to scramble to their side, frantically trying to help smother the flames. HP: 60/60 Target: Jerichoboss Damage: 7 Boss HP: 108

Candace forced a smile. "Yes, I'm here. Let's see if we can try to get rid of these flames, yeah? Did no one ever teach you to stop, drop and roll?" She tried to keep her voice light and teasing but her little Gale was on fire.

Rue watched, smirking all the while, at the bodies that were still covered in the flames. Her idea of trying to get them off by striking someone else, therefore sharing the love in a manner of speaking, had completely worked and now both she and Ofelia were free of the blue horror. Ofelia didn't looked pleased though when Rue looked back, instead looking at her weapon with an expression of pure horror and disgust. Ofelia wanted to run and try and help Otto, to help put out the flames that her weapon had spread, but wouldn't they just slap her away?
The sins of the weapon golem were the sins of the handler and Rue's actions were driving a wedge in their group that Ofelia wasn't sure she could fix after this. Rue didn't seem to care as she stood and watched, not really willing to go and try to hit the monster again. She was good as it was, let the others flail around and smack it. As long as she managed to keep Ofelia from dying right out who cared what happened to anyone else.
That didn't stop Ofelia from running over to Tenya and dropped down, pulling her jacket off and trying to help smother the flames on the weapon's body. "Ah'm sorry, Ah'm sorry! Dun struggle, jus' hit back if ya need ta!" There was no way she'd be immune to the flames after having them once, right?

The flames came out, and Dis had a chill. Fire was not something he feared per say, but he was wary of it. That nature might have kept him from the flames but- Red eyes widened as Jinhai and Gale were consumed, earning a rather unpleasant snarl from the vampire.
"Bad neighbor indeed." The flames were being handled but-
"I do not like it, when what is mine is brought to harm." His nails were not the sharpest, nor, were they the best, but, they were what he had.

When Jerry joined them to help put out Gale's flames Candace smiled. "Thanks." She pouted at Gale's quip and tried patting out the flames through her and Jerry's coats. "Stubborn boy."

"DIS!" Marcus's yell from behind the lines as it were was only a reminder. Red eyes saw his hunter and the golem's face contorted with barely controlled anger. Silent, the vampire removed himself from the fight. More the fool's route in his mind. " Perhaps next time you shall not run blindly into battle without me?" He did nothing to hide his frustration. " I want to fight but, that is not the plan apparently." Their flames were being handled, and his coat was with Marcus, who was busy trying to set the runics up again. Defending Gale/Jinhai for: 10

Melvin hadn't done anything, and then the fire came. It wasn't brilliant red and orange, but the same bland, monotone gray as the rest of dragon. It covered Saliva completely, and Melvin noticed the flames as well, but he had sparred before. Saliva was his shield. If a giant axe and blade could go through him, this should be nothing.
Melvin's theory was wrong. Very wrong.
The fire burned, and while his coat and sweater were not burning and his hair wasn't singing or smoking, it still FELT like fire. It burned and the heat made him pat at the flames, but it wasn't working at all!!! "Why does everything want to catch me on fire?!!" Fire the horsemen, now this!!!
Saliva was also burning, and through she tried to aim, she was distracted by all the flames. "THIS JACKIN HURTS!" She shouted at the dragon, as if it didn't know that blowing flames hurt people. HP: 31/40 Damage Dealt: 0 Boss HP: 102

The first attack of the day probably could have gone better. A lot better. Rep set Tracey down to protests from the fallen angel that no, he could still fight, he really could, just please would Rep give him a chance to protect him.
He had little choice but to allow it, left shieldless in the face of a ******** huge dragon.
It had been a long time since the fallen angel had had to fly in combat, in a normal body. The first attack was glancing but still startled him, and in a moment of uncertainty meant that it knocked Tracey clear out of the air before he could even close the distance to the beast. He hit the ground in a dazed heap and it took everything, every single bit of self control Rep had not to run to his aid - some last vestige of sensible thought telling him that getting himself killed wouldn't help either of them.
"Keep going!" was all the helpful advice he could offer.

Tracey didn't stay down long. He might not have been built to be a fighter, as small and slight as he was, but he had claws and the feathers of his wings were much sturdier and often sharper than they might have looked and he'd crashed many many times in the past. Hefting himself off the ground, he untangled himself, and buoyed up by the albeit vague words of encouragement Rep offered, took off again.
As he approached the dragon, it was even harder to see where he was actually going, but through some vague sort of miracle, he managed to land a single scratch on something that vaguely felt solid. It wasn't much, but it was something.
