While it might have been the witch's cheer that distracted Sin long enough to fall off, it was still Mort's fault. Why? Because it just was. Like his envious stare had weighed her down enough or something, idk.
He opened his mouth to ask how Sin was doing when, you guessed it, the zomboil became well acquainted with another love buggie's front window, hood, roof, and then the very tasty concrete. And when he eventually staggered back up, Mort was no longer in his swag mood. Nope, now he was just plain furious.
"Keep going!" he barked at the ghouls as he popped his shoulder back into place with a wet squelch, waving off his ghoulfriend's concerned actions. It was bad enough he had to watch them dodging things by the skin of their teeth without time being spent fretting over his apparently awful traffic-evading skills.

Sin saw an opening and ran, luckily she was in pretty good shape, had long legs, and didn't have Mort's jack awful luck. She made it the other side panting and slowly turned just in time to hear Mort urge them on. Oh the guilt, it sank into Sin and made her feel like just walking back in front of the fast moving love bugs. It was hardly any wonder she always made it out of sticky situations just fine it wasn't luck it was her lack of concern for her friends and fellow students. She bit her lip and watched Belladonna and Mort with worried eyes.
She saw another bug coming fast and cringed.
"MORT Look out!" She yelled and took a step forward, but Sin wasn't crazy enough to set foot back on the road when she had just gotten to safety.

Keep going? Easy for you to say Mort, as you get clobbered by yet another car. Seriously! "Don't worry about us, worry about you!" She shouted back at him, though she kept her voice somewhat soft so she didn't seem as upset as she really felt. Belladonna was not happy to see her boilfriend getting so abused by the denizens of Valentine's Town and their icky gross buggys. With an angry shake of fist the witch turned and began a stream of rude things about the drivers of said buggy's. After a while she looked forward and watched as Sin safely made it to the other side. Happy that at least someone made it through with minimal damage, Belladonna heaved a sigh of relief and waved across the way at the succubus. "Excellent work Sin! Now don't move, no matter what! We'll, um we'll-- EEK!!" All her talking had been a bad idea and Belladonna was unceremoniously smacked with a car. Though she managed to break off the shriek so she only silently rolled away from the car, it still hurt. With a sizable cut now apparent on the witch's arm, Belladonna jumped up and huffed. Pink eyes narrowed as she saw the safety of the sidewalk that Sin had now found. "Hecate help us all..."

Sin's helpful warning allowed the zomboil to roll forward before the car could make roadkill out of his battered corpse, though Mort still grunted from the exertion on his body. "Mrrr . . . Thanks . . ." But oh did he hate being so slow. Lumbering past another speeding buggie, he grasped Belladonna's arm and pulled her away with him, teeth grit.
"Move," he told her, quite determined to just get the hell out of there. He let go of her arm once they crossed past one line of the accursed cars, eyeing her with some concern under all that frustration. "Remember, i-if need, take pill, alright?"

Danny was pretty high on that Rose horse by now, he could have sworn he heard something about running into traffic. Now he wasn't the swiftest around but he knew from his own shop that non-moving car parts hurt ALOT. REALLY ALOT. Especially when dropped on one's foot or something. He wasn't even imagining how much pain getting HIT with one would be. But he just blamed it on the horse farts as to why his hearing had gone like that. She couldn't have POSSIBLY said to RUN into traffic? Could she? He placed the horse blossom onto the ground, still leaving it twitching from it's mal-usage and picked up the little glittery heart he had grown attached to. Ok he was going to run into traffic. He took a gulp and closed his eyes darting into the street as fast as he could. Cracking an eye open just a tiny bit he couldn't believe he actually made it across ONE lane. He was REALLY running across Jacking traffic...WTF. Manry Murse

A car narrowly clipped the witch and just as she was about to back away, Mort rushed forward and grabbed her arm. It was silly, stupid and totally lame, but Belladonna couldn't help but grow a little weak at the way he cared. Even if it was in a really rough, manhandle-y kind of way. She was ok with that. It was nice. "I'm ok! For now! But I have one if you need it too, ok?" He'd had a rough day! All those dove attacks had really worn on him, so it was only fair that the witch offer at least something, however small. With a skip she managed to keep up with him, though the moment he let go the witch nodded with conviction. They'd make it through this! With a deep breath she took a step forward and was promptly hit with a car. A stream of rather colorful curses was the only thing she left hanging in the air as she tumbled down, rolling a little slower than before away from the car. Jackdamn this stupid a** place.It only took another moment before she jumped up and surveyed the road around her. A loud and angry 'WHAT?!" burst from her as she realized she and Mort had barely made any headway into this Jack forsaken road. It was enough to make the witch nearly stomp her feet and just flop down into the road, asking her companions to leave her to die. Instead she only narrowed her gaze and sallied forth.

Miss Desu appeared again, and began her demonstration about how to cross the street. Yin had never learned the proper way to do it, by jumping, but he was eager to try. So he took a small running start and leaped onto the first car that he could.

The instructor had said to jump, so jump Yin did, onto the roof of a passing car. What was perhaps more bizarre was seeing the three bears leaping after him. They all made it safely though, so perhaps they had some usage after all.

Quicker than Yin expected another car came racing by. With just a scant second to prepare himself he made his jump, landing in a crouch on the car. Three bears followed faithfully behind him.

The Weremantis and the Three Bears
Leaping from car to car, first a bounding mantodae, then the jumping and splats of three small figures, the odd foursome made their way across the street until they were in front of Miss Desu. Yin gave her a slight bow and waited for further instruction.

Danny was holding onto his glitter-buddy watching everyone jumping and running onto cars around him. He guessed that since he was already running that he would have to continue running. He made a sprint for it and made it to the next lane with ease.
Had he known the other outcome of the dice and how the human in charge of them was not so sa'vvy with understanding rules. He would have felt much better HE and GLITTER BUDDY made it.
