Amaya watched while Ko-sensei assigned Pakku a different assignment from everyone else. It was beyond her how there were so many people who were ahead in the class, but then again maybe she just had a late start date. The other thing she noticed? It was all the guys who were moving on and all the girls were the ones who were back behind. Well that just wouldn’t do one bit. However, there wasn’t much that she could do about it but continue on with her training and focus on the extra assignment at hand. She was really liking this particular task since she was getting a chance to explore and become familiar with her chakra. This was completely new territory for her and she was loving it.
Pushing the thoughts out of her mind, Amaya moved back to the task at hand. The child took in a few breaths before creating the ram symbol, she wanted to mix things up a bit. Closing her eyes, Amaya focused on the chakra moving and swirling inside of her. She chased it and followed it, moving to towards her physical being. Eventually she felt the two mixing with one another. Still the feeling was odd and it just refused to feel normal. It made the hairs on her arms stand up and it felt like a chill brushed across the back of her neck. This, however, was a very good thing because she had managed to complete the assignment for the second time. She loosened her hands and opened her eyes with that little smile still resting on her lips, ending that attempt.

Much harder than she thought it would be, anyway. The swirl was easy to form with the help of momentum, but the more refined chakra wasn't cooperating as much, wanting to go back to its original form before she had attempted to mold it to her needs. Struggling with the second part of the process, she went a little further than she had wanted to, and lost grip of the chakra she had been controlling until now. Suddenly fatigued, Sakura took a deep gasp as she now felt the drain on her chakra that it had taken until now. She would really need to keep an eye out on the amount of chakra she spent, because even a toddler knew that draining all your chakra would eventually kill you if you weren't careful. Checking her reserves, she found that she had used around half, which meant that she would have to rest soon if she wanted to continue. She looked around for her sensei, and decided to make use of the small rest to ask him a question. But first things first, she sat down, a bit tired from the continuous practice. Her parents had done it with such ease, and yet it was so hard to do it herself! (Resting post on next one)

Pakku asked, and Chisana barked back. Walking outside Pakku set her down by a bench. "Go ahead and relax for a bit girl." He said, and Chisana didn't respond, instead falling asleep right there. Laughing lightly Pakku started to run around the track situated jsut outside their classroom.

According to the scroll that she had gotten the assignment off of, Amaya was officially one fifth of the way finished. While that may have seen like something small and minute to other people, the child was absolutely thrilled with her progress. Then again, it was easy to make her happy; it was very rare for her to be legitimately upset or angry. However, when she was angered, Amaya more or less exploded. All of this was playing through the child’s mind and she wasn’t exactly sure why. She had let her thoughts run away from her and some weird stuff was coming up. Why exactly was she examining her state of emotions? Sure, it was good thing to stay self-aware, but now was not the time to. She had an assignment to complete; preferably before she ran out of energy.
That was one of the things that Amaya had noticed. There was a notable drain on her energy, or at least her chakra energy. Since she hadn’t been consciously aware of her chakra before this exercise, every little drain was profound to her. Regardless, she still had energy and she still had a task to complete. Though she was still trying to reel in her thoughts, Amaya pressed on with the assignment. Taking in a couple of deep, slow breaths, the girl closed her eyes and made the dog sign. Closing her eyes was helping her in this exercise because it allowed her to focus on the new sensations and controlling them. She knew that she wouldn’t be able to do that when she was working with jutsu or in a fight, but she figured it would be alright for her practice.
Trying to pay attention to what she was doing, but she was struggling this time around. While she could feel the energy moving, she wasn’t really controlling it. There was no mixing of physical and spiritual energy. There wasn’t even manipulating of spiritual energy. Knowing that her mind wasn’t completely there, Amaya released her seal and left her energy alone; but she felt that little bit of energy run away from her. That feeling was still a little overwhelming, but she would get used to it.

Fudou brushed off the kid's comments. He didn't know what he was talking about anyway. Fudou wasn't going to treat his education like it was something his parents forced him into. He followed Shironaegi into the academy grounds and took up a position opposite him in preparation for their spar. His body tensed and he eyed Shiro's stance to see if there were any weaknesses he could exploit. Not that he really knew anything about that at all.

The child couldn’t help but mentally scold herself temporarily for her little lapse in concentration. It wasn’t like her to lose focus like that and of all times for her to this was the worse. On the other hand, maybe that is what she needed. Perhaps the girl needed a reminder of what exactly she needed to do and a harmless failure was the perfect way for that to get through. After all, you don’t learn near as much from success as you do from failure. However, that didn’t make failure any less frustrating.
Amaya forced herself to look back at fact that she had succeeded more times than she had failed in this task. This was something that she was unfamiliar with and she was still doing a marvelous job. That was what little comfort she could offer herself, but it would do for the time being. Plus, she had to continue on in order to show her brothers later on if they became interested in becoming a shinobi. This time before starting the girl stared at a grain line in the desk, allowing herself to clear the thoughts from her head so she could focus on her chakra. Once she was content with the lack of chatter in her head, Amaya took a deep breath and shut her eyes. Making the dragon seal, which she was actually fairly proud about, the girl paid strict attention to the chakra moving in her body in order to meld it in with her physical energy. This was one of her better attempts and she almost thought there was a flicker of light, but nothing notable or sustained. None the less, the girl was proud at another success as she released her hold and reopened her eyes.

Amaya knew that she was on and off with this particular drill. It seemed that she would get it once and then she would fail, repeat. While this didn’t bother her, it did mean that she needed to find where she was lacking to create some consistency. The girl was completely focused on herself and what she was doing, so she wasn’t paying much mind to her new friend, Sakura, her teacher or the boys outside. If she could stay within herself then maybe she would be able to starting stringing her successes together. However, with the notable drain on her body, Amaya knew that she was going to have to rest at some point if she wanted to eventually finish her assignment.
However, now was not the time to rest. The young girl was still strung on excitement about being there, much less already participating in an exercise that involved chakra. With excited enthusiasm, Amaya chose a random sign, the rat this time, and closed her eyes while taking in a deep breath. The Keiji had always been thought that it was easier to learn a new task by choosing a few things to do every single time. That way it trained the mind and the body to prepare for a specific task. Amaya usually accomplished this repetition through her breathing techniques. Something that she master when her brothers first came into their home and she wasn’t so in love with them. Regardless of that training technique, Amaya just didn’t get the exercise quite right that time around. She couldn’t latch onto her chakra, so she released her handseal and opened her eyes. She would just have to keep trying.

Brushing a strand of hair away from her face, she decided to rest a bit before starting up again. Relaxing in her seat, she looked around at the others outside. She looked as Pakku started running laps around the place, with the cute dog resting on the bench, thoroughly enjoying the warm sunlight shine on her fur. With a little more searching, she thought she could see Inechi and Fudou further back, but she couldn't really be sure. Amaya was right next to her, working on her chakra molding, with varied success. The white haired girl had disappeared to somewhere, so she assumed that the teacher had assigned her something else, or had gone to the bathroom and hadn't come back just yet.
'Everyone's working so hard,' she thought, glancing back at them all. Spurred on by the sight, she hopped down from her chair and walked up to her sensei to get some friendly advice as to the molding process. Perhaps he could guide her in another direction again, like the time with the hand seals. He seemed nice enough, much more approachable than some people in her clan.
"Sensei, I'd like to ask you for some help," she asked, running up to him. "You've probably been watching the whole time, so maybe you could give me some feedback. Is there anything I could do differently? I don't think I'm fully getting the process right." She hoped he would give out some pointers, because the manipulation was fun, but a little taxing. She'd go get some critique from her parents once she was home, she figured. But for now, her sensei was here to guide her, and she would gladly take his help. The dreadlocks were actually quite endearing, once you got used to them. Resisting the urge to tug them, she attempted to hide her smile while she awaited his answer.

A slash of sunlight ran across the room. Yae awakened in the fresh air scent of a spring morning. She sat up, glancing out the window. Judging by the sun's perch she was late for class. Not that she cared. A recent, uncharacteristic streak of apathy had gripped the once-studious ninja-to-be. With the grace of a sloth she made her way out of bed and brushed her tangled mass of hair.
After choking down the remnants of a foam container of rice and eggs Yae was out the door, academy scroll in hand. She arrived at the classroom door, pushing it open and peering at the surprisingly full classroom. The count was three girls, a boy, and a young man, none of which Yae recognized. She had no doubt about this being the right room, but stepped back to check the number anyway. She let the door close itself behind her as she surveyed the unfamiliar faces. It beat the abandoned state of the class yesterday, for the most part.
The girl with white hair and red eyes seemed sort of familiar when Yae looked a second time. Like maybe she had been in the same class with her before, but had never actually spoken to her.
The distinctly inuzaka boy appeared to be receiving instruction from the young man. Clearly that was the new sensei, she thought. They went through teachers rather fast, and Yae was starting to suspect it was the result of the war. On second thought, he looked more like he should be out in the field that teaching kids. The inuzaka headed outside with his dog when they were don speaking.
Yae noticed the new girl with dark hair was practicing chakra molding. She had the sudden feeling that she was later for class than she had originally anticipated.
Suddenly the pink haired girl ran up to the sensei, and asked for help. Yae already had her scroll and knew what to do, so introducing herself to sensei could wait while he got the other student settled down. Yae placed her academy scroll down on a desk at the back and glanced toward the window.
A single brow arced curiously when Fudou caught her eye, out on the grounds squaring off with another boy she had seen from class before, though she had never met him. She watched, waiting intently for one of them to make a move. When the thought that she would probably have to spar someone crossed her mind she swallowed nervously. Fist fighting was of no interest to Yae.

Inechi Shironaegi  Hp: 27/27 Cp: 33/33 MHp: 27/27 With the two being the same height and there being a negligible weight difference the two students were perhaps perfect sparing partners. Shiro was quickly becoming excited, this kind of moment was one of his favorites. Sizing each other up before a duel, looking for the weakness to exploit, formulating a strategy. The moment before the attack. Knowing how serious Fudou seemed Shiro decided to try a really old and really dumb tactic. "Hey Fudou! You're shoes untied!" He said with excitement a couple seconds before he rushed the boy. When he got in close Shiro lunged forward and tried to tackle the boy to the ground. [Escape Artist DC 18] He didn't know whether his shoe ploy had worked or not but it seemed that he was fast to succeed in his tackle. He had knocked Fudou to the ground and now had the boys arms and legs pinned to the dirt.Taijutsu
Description: To practice Taijutsu, the students were paired up to spar against one another. No one was allowed to use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu techniques during the fight. Taijutsu were the only techniques used. The Students kept fighting until 5 HP was left.

To Escape Grapple: 1d20 + Escape Artist

MHp: 8 Continuinghis run Pakku barely noticed anyone else that might've come outside since he had. He was going for long distance running to make himself better able to go through pain. Sure he could've run to increase his leg muscles, or his agility, but he'd already done that a lot with Chisana. Which reminded him, he'd have to start working with her soon when it came to the Clan's Hidden Jutsu.

Fudou was taken off guard at Shiro's outburst. Even though one part of him knew it was a trick another part of him couldn't stop himself from turning his head down. He had just a split second to realise his mistake before Shiro tackled him. He growled, Shiro could now control the flow of the spar and this was a completely not ideal situation! Fudou struggled briefly to try to escape the boy's pinning before attempting to shift and wriggle out of his constraints instead.

Try as he might, though, the boy was too strong for him. Plus he had covered all possible avenues of escape that Fudou could think of. It was like he shifted his grip to hold him even before he thought of moving that limb. Fudou couldn't control his frustration and snarled again before reining his anger in with difficulty. He bared his teeth and sent a hateful glare up at Shiro. "If you don't get your hands off me I'll make you regret it when academy is over."

He suspected that it wouldn't work a second time on Akio but it proved that doubt was a powerful weapon. If you don't get your hands off me I'll make you regret it when academy is over." the other boy threatened. Shiro was really starting to dislike this boy, he was far too uptight and it seemed like he was pretty antisocial. [Sense Motive failed]
"I'll give you this one Fudou." Shiro said as he got off the boy, but his dislike of the kid was growing. Shiro would try to continue and be nice because that was in his nature but so was battle.Taijutsu
