Firith (with Ralla), Flying; Attacking Calanoth
Though she would never admit or acknowledge that she was having a bit of a difficult time, throwing herself at a full-grown bronze dragon had perhaps not been the easiest fight she and Hers could have picked, but it was just their way. And they would bring him down, no matter how much it hurt!
This time, when he bit her, she didn't scream. She just flipped around and struck at him with her claws. The situation was turning deadly serious, and so she did as well.

Calanoth (with Z'fer) Flying: Attacking Firith
He pulled his head back as her claws grazed his cheekbones, just under his eye. It had been entirely too close of an attack! Deciding to keep his face out of reach he struck out with his claws again. He would not allow his precious eyesight to be destroyed!

Firith (with Ralla), Flying; Defending Against Calanoth
Ha! She'd gotten him good that time, although she'd just missed what would have been a really devastating blow, one that would have given her an advantage against him. Hoping to try again, she made the mistake of not darting away when she had the opportunity, and by the time she realized that mistake, it was too late to completely avoid his claws. Spinning away as he raked her hide, she snarled angrily.

Calanoth (With Z'fer) Flying: Attacking Firith
Calanoth snarled back as she rolled from his attack. It was a dangerous move with her rider still on her back. Calanoth pressed forward, swinging his claws at her again. He couldn't give her an opportunity to regain her advantage, not if he was to win this.

Firith (with Ralla), Flying; Attacking Calanoth
This time, Firith didn't make the same mistake, and was quick to get out of range of his claws by flying higher. Urged on by her rider, who didn't give any more thought to the danger than she did, she dropped back down at the bronze from above. They could finish him, and they would!

Aerith Defending from Ateth 31/40 - HP Def - 1d6+1 = 5
'There are no reasons good enough for this sort of treachery and torment' The white replied even as she cried out in pain and wheeled lower in the sky to try and avoid the silver's attack. The silver was far far larger then herself and while her smaller size meant she had agility and speed the silver did not the larger male hit hard when he hit and she would tire far sooner then she could whittle him away.

Ateth (Flying with S'orl), Attacking Aerith
Not for you, perhaps. He was unphased by her disapproval, and uncaring as to how unfair a fight he had chosen. He had picked the fight he knew he could win, and hopefully one he would win with a minimal amount of injury to himself. He didn't want to have scars from this, after all.
Ateth chased after her as she flew lower, snapping his jaws.

[Acriculeth: Defending from Kloth]
Finally, somebody on his side had come to intervene in the beating he was taking. Trying to whip his tail out of range of the brown's attack - and partially succeeding - he addressed the crimson. He never thought he'd hear himself say that, but these were strange times they were suddenly thrust into.

[A'nos; Attacking Adi]
He hadn't expected the girl to charge at him, and her knife found its mark across is left bicep before he could react. Gritting his teeth against the pain he managed to dodge the fool brown rider who came to pitch in, and then swung his whip at the blue rider; armed as she was she was far more dangerous to him.

Mazamath (Ground), Attacking Acriculeth
No! Though he was grateful for his rider's assistance, worry accompanied it. His was a terrible fighter, and now the bronze's rider was focused on her. Someone came to help, though, and that reassured him somewhat. But the crimson appeared as well - was her rider around somewhere? Be careful, he bade Adi, Please!
More intent than ever, he lunged forward to bite at his enemy.

Adi (Ground), Defending Against A'nos
While her attack had had the desired effect of getting the man to leave her dragon alone...well, that meant he was now focused on her. That moment of foolish bravery went as quickly as it had come, and she shrank back, putting up her arms when he swung the whip at her. It kept her from being badly injured, but the little slash it opened up on her arm still hurt, and she yelped.
Adi was nowhere near as dangerous as her possession of a weapon might have lead their opponent to believe.

Calanoth (with Z'fer) Descending: Defending against Firith
It wasn't the size of the green that drove him towards the ground, nor even the strength of her attack. It was fear for his rider. As Firith dropped upon them from above he folded his wings, closing them above Z'fers head and allowing them to plummet towards the ground.
They free-fell just long enough to escape the worst of her claws before he snapped his wings open again, fighting against their momentum to keep from crashing into the earth below.
It was a hard landing but he managed it without harming himself any further. Z'fer too the opportunity to unbuckle his straps and slide from Calanoth's side, stretching his long legs to get out of the fighting dragon's way.
Calanoth and Z'fer are now on the ground. --

Firith (with Ralla), Descending; Attacking Calanoth
Firith hissed her annoyance with the older dragon, and darted right after him to the ground. She paused just long enough to let Ralla get herself out of the riding straps and jump off, then was immediately back on the offensive. The little green lunged at the larger dragon, as intent as ever on bringing him down.
Firith and Ralla are now on the ground.

Ralla (Ground), Attacking Z'fer
Now this was more like it! As thrilling as it had been to be on her dragon during the aerial battle, it was also a rather passive position to be in. Now that she was on the ground, she could do some fighting of her own. No sooner was she off of Firith than Ralla was sprinting towards the bronze's rider, meaning to tackle him.

Aerith Attacking Ateth HP - 23/40 Atk - 2d4+1 = 6 Accuracy -6 = miss
With Mercy on the ground and no longer afraid for her riders safety Aerith took the silver's hit, cringing as the white hide was streaked with crimson. Furious and knowing that she couldn't possibly win the white turned it's attention from winning to inflicting as much damage as it possibly could for as long as it could and wheeled about to strike back at the silver. Unfortunately her inexperience with fighting meant that her strike went wide...again.
