Gunji enjoyed playing with the "big doggies" for a while, not noticing when Asten took a few steps away from him. When he was done, He reached over for her hand, looking around in confusion when Asten wasn't there. Spotting his big red hoodie a few feet from him, Gunji stopped when he saw a young man grinning at Asten. Glaring, he wrapped his arms around her from behind. "She's with me and she's all mine... You can't have her," Gunji said, glaring at the other as he nuzzled Asten's neck. Taking her hand, Gunji smiled at Asten.
"Let's look at the cougars then panthers," he said as he lead Asten to them. Behind him the stranger grabbed Gunji's wrist, seeming persistent. "Come on, share," the young man said and Gunji grit his teeth. Without a second thought, he let go of Asten's hand and and a punch few to the man's face. He was sent to the ground and also flew back a few feed. "Leave her alone, you pervert!" he shouted before taking Asten's hand again. With a wide grin on his face, Gunji ran off with Asten. When they were far enough away from the man, he took her into the nocturnal exhibit.
"Let's look at the big doggies another time," he giggled before leading her into the dark room. It was very dimly lit and people were asked not to take flash photography. It seemed pretty empty. Probably because kids were scared of the dark and it seemed like only Asten and Gunji were inside. Holding Asten's hand so that she wouldn't get lost in the dark, Gunji looked at her with a soft smile as he eyes started to adjust to the dark.

╚══════════════╝ Asten was surprised when she suddenly felt Gunji's arms around her and blushed when he nuzzled her, still unused to it. Feeling perfectly satisfied at being 'his', she let him pull her away and jumped a bit when the man kept bothering Gunji. Blinking in astonishment when he punched the man and dragged her along, she had to do an odd hop-skip to keep up and was relieved when he finally slowed down.
Keeping close to him in the dark, having poor night vision, the shifter blinked as she tried to adjust to the dark setting. It was nice, at least. Cool and dark and quiet, hardly anyone else was there. In fact, she was pretty sure they were the only two there for the time being. Holding his hand tightly, Asten tucked herself up against his side and looked around, missing his smile as she waited for her eyes to adjust a bit more.
"Thank you, Gunji," she said softly, glancing up at him despite the fact she couldn't see him clearly, and giving him a smile. "I don't - I don't mind being yours," Asten stammered, suddenly embarrassed and looking around again, glad he wouldn't see the blush on her cheeks.

Gunji glanced down and smiled at Asten when she thanked him, even if she couldn't see the smile. "No problem," he said, letting go of her hand so that he could wrap his arm around her and pull her into a side hug happily. He watched some bats behind one window hop around and eat, glancing down when Asten spoke again, stammering. He could tell she was embarrassed from her tone and chuckled. How cute.
"Really? That's good because I don't mind you being mine at all," he joked, leaning his head onto the top of Asten's. He pulled away for a moment, trying to make her face out in the dark. He ended up leaning close to Asten to see her face, smiling when her features became more visible with the short distance. "You're pretty," he said, stating the obvious.
Leaning a little closer, Gunji gently tilted Asten's chin up and looked into her eyes. Closing his own, he leaned in and pressed his lips to Asten's softly. "All mine... And I'm all yours... Remember that," Gunji purred. His hand reached up and brushed Asten's cheek. He ran his fingers over her features since he couldn't see her well in the dark. Pushing her hair from her face, Gunji kissed Asten's lips again. "Do you mind me being yours?" the blond asked in a soft tone.

╚══════════════╝ When he said she was pretty, she just blushed harder. He'd complimented her before, but there was something different about his tone now that made the heat in her cheeks rise. She blinked in surprised when he leaned in so close. Again, it wasn't like him being in her personal space was unusual, as he'd done nothing but since he bought her, so she didn't know why she was so flustered this time.
Asten didn't even get a chance to react when he kissed her, other than just blush more, which she wasn't even sure was possible at this point. She unconsciously leaned into his hand when his fingers ran over her face, and when he kissed her again she returned it, just a tiny bit. Did she mind..."N-no," she told him quietly, hyper-aware of how close he was still. "I like it. It makes me happy," she admitted. Was he hers? Was that how this all worked out? She'd thought she was his, wasn't that how slaves worked? The master didn't belong to anyone...but she wanted him to.
Swallowing, Asten leaned in to kiss him, very quickly and lightly. She wasn't sure if he'd like her to do it back, after all. The shifter wasn't even...he seemed like he was being...not romantic, but not platonic, either. She'd been so sure he was gay, though, with the nails and hair and shopping and just...how he acted. So, was she just reading too much into this whole thing entirely?

Gunji smiled, able to tell that she was flustered when she stuttered her replies. He was glad she was happy to have him. Even if he was her master. He wanted to being to Asten. He paused when she kissed him back, a grin spreading on his lips. He hadn't expected that but really enjoyed the fact that Asten had been the one to kiss him. Pressing his forehead to hers, Gunji wondered why she was so nervous. Maybe he had done something to bother her? Or Asten didn't like him the way he liked her. Pouting at the thought, he stroked her face lightly and stared for a moment.
"Did I do something wrong?" Gunji asked, pulling away a little. "I real like you," he said quietly, feeling his own blush going to his cheeks as if he were some middle school kid telling a crush he liked her. "More than a master usually likes his slave I guess," Gunji added, glancing towards a window were a pair of big eyes that belonged to something small and fluffy were staring at him.
Wanting to be able to see Asten, he lead them towards the exit, wincing at the brightness before he looked at Asten. "Is that okay with you too? Do you... Like me too?" Gunji asked, biting his lip a little nervously as he cocked his head to the side, wanting to know if Asten felt the same about Gunji even though she had already kissed him back. She seemed unsure about something.

╚══════════════╝ He barely knew her - did stuff like this even happen? Or was she going to wake up in a cage again, tied up and gagged, wishing this hadn't been a dream? Asten looked over at the fuzzy creature in a panic when he said he liked her more than a master. How could he? She hadn't even been with him a week, after all.
Swallowing thickly, the shifter let him lead her outside. Blinking owlishly at the bright sunlight after the darkness, she looked up at him for a minute after he asked his question. She wanted to think anyway. Did she...she did like him. Even barely knowing him, she did. There was just something about Gunji that drew her to him and made her want to stay, made her feel safe. He looked adorable too, seemingly just as nervous as she felt. That was unexpected, since he seemed more cocky and confident than anyone else she knew.
Asten smiled up at him and squeezed his hand. "I like you too," she assured him, the blush on her cheeks now obvious for anyone to see. Funny, the idea that he was just saying that to get her to do things in bed never occurred to her, even though other men who'd wanted to buy her had tried. Gunji just seemed so honest and transparent, mostly. "Is that okay?" she asked, watching him carefully.

Gunji blinked at her answer, looking up at Asten with disbelief. He had his own faded blush on his cheeks and smiled to see hers. It seemed she wasn't joking and that made Gunji unbelievably happy. He suddenly wrapped his arms around Asten and pulled her into a tight hug. "Of course it is... I'm really happy," Gunji whispered. He pulled away and smiled at Asten, kissing her cheek before taking her hand.
"I want to go look at the different birds," he said suddenly. They still had a whole lot of time ahead of them so they might as well, right? There were more animals they could look at but since Asten as a bird, Gunji was sure she would want to look at the birds as well right? He wanted to se the different ones.
Leading her over to the side of the zoo where there were different birds, Gunji looked around, pausing at one area that had a small pond and pink flamingos everywhere. Giggling at the way they stood, Gunji kept an arm around Asten just in case the jerk was still around. There was one part were you could go into a building where there were plenty of different tropical birds for them to look at. Every now and then you would see a peacock walking around along with geese and duck. It was quite entertaining and Gunji was enjoying himself. He glanced over at Asten to see if she was too

╚══════════════╝ Still a bit flustered, Asten let Gunji lead her around, happy they were going to see the birds. She amused herself by standing like the flamingos did until one of them gave her a dirty look. That was what she liked about the birds - they seemed to know she was one of them and didn't try to eat her. If it wasn't a zoo she'd have shifted and started playing, just because she could.
"The flamingos always want to make me play croquet," she remarked, reminded of Alice in Wonderland. Knowing the birds would be pissed off if she tried, Asten just giggled and stood like them again, balancing easily, before hopping off after Gunji. It was nice he'd taken her to see the birds and she held his hand tightly as they went into the building where the birds were free to fly around. She liked aviaries like this, and knew what was coming as soon as a macaw noticed her presence.
Sighing patiently, the girl stuck her arms out obligingly as tropical birds of all shape and size perched on every available surface. A cockatoo was on her head, looking smug, while a lorikeet gave her a kiss on the cheek and chirped at her. Asten was a little embarrassed, since other people were looking in surprise, but crouched down so a few little kids could pet the birds without getting their fingers bitten. "Don't pull their tails, that hurts. It's like if I yanked on your hair," she told one boy gently, who obediently stopped and went back to petting the parrot. Asten glanced up at Gunji and shrugged slightly, a smile on her face. "This always happens," she admitted, rolling her eyes as a peacock moved over to stand in front of her and stared pointedly.
"There's no room and I can't pet you. No, don't look at me like that, I - you watch it, just because you have that tail doesn't mean I - oh, don't you go calling me a goose!" she said indignantly.

Gunji giggled at the idea that Asten put in his head, wondering how much the pink birds would have liked it if Gunji were to use their heads to hit balls around a field... Probably not very much. If Asten weren't there, Gunji might have tried. Luckily for the flamingos, Asten's one legged pose caught his attention and he found himself dying of laughter. He watched her hop off after him, giggling to himself
Gunji was looking around all the birds until Asten sighed. He watched wide eyed as all the birds gathered around Asten and hopped all over her. He smiled and crouched down with the kids to pet at the cockatoo sitting on her head. He actually gelt jealous of all the birds. The were stealing away Asten's attention! But it was fun to watch them hopping all over her. The seemed to be quite happy. Hearing that it always happened to Asten, Gunji laughed, wishing birds would be so nice to him... But apparently not all the birds were nice to Asten. He watched the peacock walk up to her, seeming to start a fight with him when she couldn't make room for it to stand. Gunji found their conversation rather amusing and laughed when Asten was called a goose even though Gunji knew she was, in fact, a swan. Gunji didn't know that Asten could talk to birds but clearly, he was more than festinated by her abilities.
Since the peacock seemed to be throwing quite the fit, Gunji moved and held out his arm for it. It stared at him for a moment before it hopped up onto his arm, looking pleased with itself. Gunji pet the colourful bird, looking up when someone in a uniform stepped over to them. "What's going on?" the grumpy zoo keeper asked, looking down at Gunji and Asten with wide eyes. "Visitors are asked not to touch or feed the birds," the woman growled and the children were snatched up by their parents. The peacock seemed to understand the trouble he was in and hopped off, leaving Asten and Gunji along with some other birds.

╚══════════════╝ "I'm not feeding them and they're touching me," Asten grumbled at the woman's back as she stalked off, apparently satisfied she'd made her point clear. She shook herself, getting the birds off, and looked disappointed. What was the point of an aviary if you couldn't at least touch the birds? That was just stupid.
A bit disappointed, she brushed off feathers from her clothes and gave Gunji a sheepish look. "I'm sorry. I've never gotten in trouble for that before," she admitted. Every other zoo she'd been in that had an aviary had let you touch the birds if they came up to you. Chasing after them was one thing, even she got that. And it wasn't like she climbed over fences to get them. She felt bad for the kids too, and hoped their parents wouldn't yell at them. Realizing the cockatoo and a few lorikeets had yet to get off her, she sighed again. "Go on, I'll get in trouble," she told them.
One of the smaller parrots tugged on her earlobe affectionately before taking off, the others following. The cockatoo ponderously climbed down to her shoulder, using her hair as a brace and making her wince the entire time, before ruffling its feathers and taking off. Rubbing her scalp with a grimace, Asten sighed.

Gunji made a face when the woman walked away and watched as all the birds went away. He smiled at how much the birds seemed to love Asten, pulling her close in a one armed hug once they birds were all gone. "Should we head over to a different exhibit? Or did we walk around enough today?" Gunji asked with a soft yawn. Nuzzling Asten's head, he heard his stomach growl. Maybe he would have more energy after some food and sugary snacks? "Let's go get some food and snacks? Sound good?" Gunji asked, smiling softly at Asten. He lead them out of the aviary to where the food was.
He sat down on a bench in the middle of the different food shacks and looked at Asten. "What do you want to eat?" Gunji asked, noticing people stare at his tattoos that were exposed since his red sweater was on Asten. He could care less. Gunji wouldn't have gotten such tattoos if he wasn't planning on showing his tattoos off.
Even though Gunji's mental state was about on the same level of the kids at the zoo, his parents always herded their children away from Gunji as if he was some big bang monster that was going to snatch up their children and eat them. The idea made Gunji smile. He smiled at one of the kids passing by who started to cry. Gunji received a glare from the kid's mother and simply smiled at her too.

╚══════════════╝ Seeing Gunji's grin, Asten giggled and poked his arm. "Don't scare the little kids, you big bully. They can't help their moms are stupid," she added, giving the woman a dirty look and snuggling up to her master pointedly. Asten turned her attention to the food stands and shrugged. "Pretzels?" she suggested, not really in the mood for anything in particular.
Folding her legs underneath her as he nodded and went to get the snacks and whatever else he wanted, the shifter looked around. This was more her sort of people watching. There were lots of people, but it wasn't crowded and overly noisy. Most people were too busy looking at the animals or figuring out where to go to make much noise, to her relief. Asten looked up at the sky briefly as a cloud obscured the sun. It was a bit cool, so maybe it would rain? Not that she cared, rain certainly didn't bother her. Most water didn't, after all.
So far, today had been a good day, in her opinion. Smiling to herself, Asten kept Gunji in her peripherals as she continued to look around, perfectly happy at the moment.

Gunji smiled when he was told not to scare the kids. He nodded and stood when he was told that she wanted Pretzels. Walking up to the shack selling them, he got four pretzels and a pop for them to share just incase Asten wanted two since Gunji was eating two. He pulled his wallet form his back pocket to pay for the food, smiling at the freaked out looking cashier before he returned to his seat with Asten. He handed a pretzel to her as he took a large bite of his own and placed the extra pretzel for Askten and their drink in between them.
"If you're still hungry after your first pretzel, feel free to have this one," he said, nodding towards the extra before he smiled. Gunji didn't even try to be decent as he ate. He practically inhaled the first one before he slowed down on the second. As always, people were staring at Gunji. He either didn't notice or grind at them until they looked away from him.
With how quickly Gunji was eating, you would be surprised if he was actually tasting his food. He finished off the second pretzel and guessed that was enough for a snack for now.

╚══════════════╝ Working on her pretzel, Asten was a little bit - okay, a lot neater - than Gunji, just out of habit. She was a little surprised he'd gotten her a second one and by the time she finished hers, she was glad he had, realizing she was still hungry. Taking a drink first to wash down all the salt, Asten scooted closer to him, used to the staring already.
"What do you want to do next?" she asked curiously, not really caring either way. "We could go see the kitties," she suggested, knowing he got them backwards. She'd always liked wolves, despite the predator thing. They were just so cool. And she liked that they mated for life. It was nice to see it in nature, since humans seemed to so rarely do it.
Finished with both pretzels, the swan hopped up and began to pace on the back of the bench. Not because she was impatient or bored, just because she wanted to.

Gunji thought for a moment when Asten asked what he wanted to do. When she suggested doing the "kitties" Gunji perked up and clapped his hands together once in a rather flamboyant fashion. "Yes! Let's go see the kitties!" he mewed happily, attracting some eyes gazing oddly at him as he brushed crumbs off himself and grinned at the idea of seeing the "kitties".
Smiling as Asten hopped up onto the back of the bench and walked along it, Gunji went to the end to met her, his back facing Asten. "Com on, I'll carry you," he said playfully, leaning over so that Asten could get onto his back. He knew that she wouldn't weigh very much to him. He was very strong after all. You had to be when you did the job Gunji did.
Once she was on his back, Gunji walked around the zoo, following signs until they found the "Wild Dogs" exhibit. Gunji frowned at the sign, wondering how the zoo could have gotten the sign wrong. Ignoring it, he noticed some tiny foxes in a sandy exhibit. He almost melted at how cute they were. They had large grey ears and were tiny. Letting out a soft "Awwww!~ Gunji looked at Asten, smiling over the adorable little creatures.
