"It is quite lovely to meet you as well." She herself bowed her head, mirroring his action, flicking her ears as she listened to the sounds around. She herself moved to stand, looking around a bit more now. "This is quite the nice place to rest. I feel that I am lucky to have met you last night Lirona." She looked at the mare. "I'd been resting in a cafe until now with some...very odd small things.... I am not sure how to elaborate on them..." Her ears perked up. "You were asking me something though...might you finish?"

Looking idly around the little haven, wondering if anything could be used for their trip, Lirona cocked her head at the question. What had she been asking...? "Oh! I was going to ask if you might remember about how long the trip to your suggestion would be."
Pleased with his first impression of Star, Wyatt sat his rear down to simply observe the females interacting. He was glad on many accounts. Lirona needed friends after the migration, and if it was a friend that he could approve of, then that was even better. One less thing for him to worry about in this world still so new to him.

"Ah..." She blinked and thought, looking to the sky at a few odd birds. "If we were to leave now we would be there before sun high... It's a bit of a walk, but perhaps shorter with company?" Star tilted her head, looking to the two, hoof pawing the ground as she wasn't used to such talking.

Lirona nodded contenly. "That isn't far at all. Like I said, we're used to walking most of the day." She looked at her father and smiled. "Right?"
Wyatt hid a sad smile behind a more cheerful one, shaking his head in amazement at his daughter's attitude to their trials. "You are right, Star. Company can make any trip seem faster than usual." He chuckled sweetly. "I am certain that the time will fly like the birds for me, to have the pleasure of the company of two wonderful ladies." He chuckled again at Lirona's sudden burst of delighted laughter.

She nodded. "Then... whenever you are ready I will not at all mind being your guide... Lirona shared you might be interested in what I've seen, as she is already." Those strange creatures... Maybe it would be time to attempt to speak with one?

Lirona gave a small smile and turned to push some of the protective bushes aside. "Then let's be on our way." She stuck her head out of the cover, scanned for any signs of danger, or anything, and trotted on out.
Wyatt nodded. "Yes, I would indeed be interested to see what you have found. It's good to see as many options as possible before settling on a territory to call ones own." Stepping over to where Lirona had vanished through, he pulled a partial path aside and held it with a leg. Then he inclined his head for Star to go ahead. "Ladies first."

She bowed her head to him. "Thank you." With that, Star carefully stepped past him, careful not to nudge him in a rude manner. She ducked her head down as well so she could go unhindered from her horns getting caught.
"There is little to worry about as far as I've seen about here..." Strange creatures for sure, such as the little fluffy mouse-like thing that scurried off after peeking out of a hole. Whatever it was it was rather....cute would it be called? "Hm..."

Lirona gave her mane a little shake, waiting for Star to take the lead. "We haven't seen too much that might cause us trouble either. I'm hoping it'll stay that way." She chuckled lightly and tapped a hoove against the ground.
Wyatt smiled lightly and nodded in agreement. The trip here had been shocking enough. "I'm grateful that this place isn't too different from our homeland. Different, certainly, but not jarringly so."

"I agree." She looked up. "The air feels different... but it is otherwise much like home." Her eyes shut as they walked. "It's pretty too."

So far so good! Lirona glanced back to make sure everyone was still together. It was great to have company other than just her father and her thoughts.
Wyatt smiled, and looked up at the bright sky. "Yes. Very pretty. ..Well, the day won't wait for us. Let's see what the other place has to offer."

"We are almost there..." She motioned with a toss of her head. "It's past that hill through the trees. The water is interesting."
