Roch sighed, far too easily pulled along. "Okay, what's your favorite colors?" he asked them, instead. "Somethin' you wear ALL the time." Then he waited patiently for them to answer. Maybe he should have left them lost, after all.
As it was, people were starting to look strangely at him--then again, that really wasn't different from usual, now that he thought about it. "Now! While you're thinkin' about that, I'm gonna go take a nap on that bench over there," he said, pointing to a bench practically on the other side of the room. Which he promptly headed for, dropping down on and summoning his guitar.
"SIR!! No weapons--"

Danny nodded as Roch walked away. Better the butthead stay out of their wonderful BONDING TIMEEEE.
She turned back to Amphi and said, "Showing too much what?" She examined the dress front and back. "I don't see anything. Look it's got pretty flowers!"
Flowers were ghouly right? RIGHT?

Amphi frowned at Roch who had taken resident on the bench before smiling back at Danny. She liked Danny though!
"Showing too much....skin?" She took it and put it back, "I mean....If you like it then it should be good but....I was told I show a lot all the time....so maybe something...."
"Oh I like blue's!" She grinned, "Blue is such a calming color! Is this one too bright?" She picked up a longer blue gown before sighing, "But the skirt is too long. Do you like long dresses Danny?"

Danny shook her head once more. Amphi just HAD to pick the longest dresses in the store! They were so ugly! And she would trip! Not to mention it would probably burn to the ground before she even got to prom ...
Sighing, she put the short black one back. Man that one was perfect. Amphi started talking about liking blue dresses, so Danny searched for blue.
"Long dresses are ... no. I don't like any dresses actually." Yeah Danny actually kind of hated this entire part of prom. It was fun to shop with Amphi though!.
She pulled a blue shiny dress off the rack and held it up. "Ooh! Amphi this is blue and short!!" CLEARLY THIS WAS THE WINRAR AMIRITE?

"It's a guitar! It's not a weapon--" Roch was saying. "Well yeah, it's a scythe, but that's--really, what do you think I'm gonna do, start bashing in mannequins?"
This conversation looked like it was going to go on for a while. But hell, it was more entertaining than picking out dresses!

Amphi only looked over at Roch to make sure no one gave him too much trouble. If the reaper wanted to play and sing then he should be free to do so.
Besides, she'd be a lot more calmer if she heard Roch playing or something.
"Oh." She looked at Danny again, her face falling as she put the dress back. "Did I force you to come Danny? I'm sorry I made you come look at things you don't like...." Her face fell....and then she made a face at the dress. "That seems....um...shiny." She frowned....
If Danny was finding a dress for her, then well...Amphi would find a dress for Danny!
She browsed the clothing racks before pulling out a short orange dress.
"What about this one Danny!??!" She held up the signature pumpkin colors, "But....Wait. Whats your favorite color Danny!?!?"

"Red," Danny said decidedly. "That one's kind of pretty ..." Danny liked simple things. That was orange and black- classic Halloween!
She looked over at Roch and rolled her eyes, setting the blue dress on the rack. She marched over to the stupid boil and the assistant and said, "We're really really sorry, he's just dumb okay." Danny pushed him back and waved at the store assistant.
Then when the lady got fed up and left, Danny glared at Roch, hissing, "Help us pick dresses before you get us kicked out!"

"They'd have only tossed me out," he said, seriously. It'd been a great plan, too, he thought with an inner sigh. He really wasn't looking forward to them prancing around in dresses...
Well, actually, that might be entertaining.
"How about this," Roch said as they reached Amphi. "Both of you grab three or four dresses you like, and we'll go back to the dressing area, where you'll try them on and come out to show me, or somethin, okay?"

"That would still be bad..." Amphi offered as Danny dragged the boil over and then nodded. That seemed like a good plan!
"Okay! I will find all the blue dresses!" Amphi seemed determined as all 5'2 of a mermaid disappeared into the racks of dresses. Pretty much swallowed by glitter and poofy things.

Danny, on the other hand, picked out mostly red things, one yellow thing, two orange things and a purple thing. For funsies. They were all skinny dresses, save for two that just looked awkward in the pile of stripper dresses.
She then pushed Roch over to the dressing rooms and waited for Amphi to come out of the sea of poof.

It was camera phone time! Roch let himself be pushed and dropped down on the couch that was conveniently set in front of the women's dressing room, pulling out his phone and checking his messages as he waited for them to go change.
This was going to be GOLD.

Amphi was no where to be seen until something emerged from the sea of dresses carrying four dresses. Blues and Whites seemed to drown the little bouncy mermaid as she set them down and grabbed one.
"Okay! We should go change now!" She fluffed before bouncing into the dressing room next.

"Yup yup," Danny agreed as she grabbed a dress of her own and walked into the booth.
After a few minutes she came out in her dress, still trying to pull up her dress a few feet. Why did it have to be so longgggggggg??

Roch snapped a picture or two before shaking his head. "You'd trip over the skirt the moment you stepped onto the dance floor," he said. "Other than that, I like the colors," he said with a shrug. "Go try another one."
He was being such a punk with this. He wondered if Rikki would pay him for some of these pictures...

"Oh Danny...." Amphi made Kirakira eyes at the ghoul before face falling, "Ah...yes maybe the dress part is too long?" She fingered the material before moving to the dressing room.
A few minutes later, she came out, fidgetting in the dress. A bright red flush on her cheeks.
"What...What do you think?" She clutched her hands on the front of the dress. Although...it seemed the bottom of the dress pooled all around her feet. She even almost tripped coming out.
