Mary didn't know what to do for her friend she seemed to be in so much pain. However, before Mary could think of anything else felt a strange feeling just above her butt. She screamed as a reptilian tail grew out of her behind and sagged against the ground.
"What the heck is this!" she cried as powerful muscles twitched through her tail and moved it back and forth.

Mary's sudden cry made Jessie jump slightly and she felt the baby go at it again. "That...would appear to be a tail..." she said rather bluntly, unsure of how else to put it as she continued to rub her belly, a sensation she was starting to enjoy just a bit.

"I see..." Mary answered trying to remain calm as possible. The tail wrapped around her waist and stomach completely covering it with a think layer of scales. Her belly then expanded one more time and caught up to Jessie's growth before slowing down again. "I think I'm as big as you. You know instead of being afraid of these things maybe we should embrace them and go see what other people are up to. I'm sure there's lots more people around here with even weirder transformations."

"Probably. As far as we know, we can't change things now, so there's no point in keeping up the spaz attacks. And here I was worried I was going to be the only one with any extra appendages." Jessie said with a small chuckle. "And unless we somehow get more babies in here, we shouldn't be getting any bigger." she said as she looked down at her belly with a small smile before looking around for some sharp implement she could use to modify her shirt so her new arms could be free.

"I doubt we could get any bigger than this." Mary sighed and her breathing slowed. For some reason having her tail wrapped around her belly made her feel so warm and pleasant. Mary noticed Jessie was looking for something and said, "If you want to do something about those arms..."
She walked over to a lamp post nearby and jumped. Despite being somehow she managed to grab onto one of the arms and tear it down. With the broken piece of metal in her hand she said, "This might cut through you shirt, maybe though you should go with a smaller, sharper object." She quickly realized as she tossed the lamp post pipe aside. Her baby bump moved and she let out a cooing noise.
(I love being ridiculous.)

"With what's happening to us, I have no idea what state your body's in, but stunts like that probably aren't good for the baby..." Jessie said before slapping her forehead. "Listen to me, I sound like some happy mother-to-be when I never even wanted to have kids. I still don't, but I don't know what else I'm going to do with this thing." she said still rubbing her tummy. "You know what? Let's just head back to my place, I've got a few hunting knives that should do the trick just fine."

"Oooo, we get to go your house!" Mary cried. She didn't know why, but she felt so full of energy right now. It had been rather odd of her to make a ten foot jump only to break something. She promised herself not to do that kind of thing again because Jessie was right. It was really bad for her baby. She followed her and wondered what her friend's house was like after having been left alone so long.

Instead of going inside, however, Jessie went around her house to a shed in the back. "You, uh, might not want to come in..." she warned Mary, stopping in front of the door. "Not only do I keep all my hunting tools in here, traps and weapons and the like, but it's also where I skin the animals, so it's not a very pretty sight..."

Jessie slipped inside and came out a short while later, a couple of holes now allowing her arms freedom as all four hands cradled her belly. "That should do it, assuming I don't grow anything else."

"You don't look too bad now that your arms are free to move around." Mary commented, "I wonder what other people will think about my tail though."

"You think so?" Jessie said with a bit of a sheepish smile, unaccustomed to compliments. "They're still weird though." she said looking down at the hands she had resting on her tummy. "And compared to the wolf men I'd say we're downright normal. At least we still look human; we just have a few extras is all."

"Yeah, that was kind of creepy." Mary agreed. "I'd like to stay normal possible and have a nice natural baby. Speaking of that, since we've grown out a little bit and seemed to have stopped growing for now do you want to go shopping like normal mothers would or go get something to eat? I don't know why, but I'm hungry actually." Mary's tummy began to grumble and another sharp kick caused her belly to move. "I think the baby inside me agrees."

Jessie's belly stretched briefly as her baby kicked again. "I'll take that as a yes." she said as she rubbed it again. "God, I'm never going to get used to that...This is so weird." she muttered.

"I'm never going to- either." Mary said as she opened her mouth. What made her stop in mid-sentence before continuing to speak was the fact that she was still not done transforming, or so it seemed when a forked tongue flickered out of her mouth before being drawn back in.
"Uh, I don't know what happened there, but it seems I have a reptilian tongue too." she said trying to speak as normally as possible. It was strange since the tongue didn't seem to be messing up her speech at all.
