Rep watched Killer's progress over to Harrison, and the subsequent shake with a growing and toothy grin, the indignity of Massacre's failure temporarily forgotten.
"Yeah you are right, c'mon J..Yuu, we should get out of the rain."
He sauntered over to stand next to Harrison, dripping wet, utterly soaked to the skin, before giving a fur shake the way only a canine could.
It was always so ******** nice to share the misery.
Massacre used the distraction to wander over to Killer again and nudge him amicably with his head.

The grin Rep was wearing served as a warning. Jordan stayed where he was for the time being and waited until Rep had finished shaking water all over Harrison. "Now we're all damp," he observed lazily, and sauntered over to join them. "The obvious solution is to relax and get warm again."

"You absolute <********>," Harrison said, clearing the water with a werewolf-shake of his own. His hair stood comically on end as a result, tail bristled like a broom-end.
He growled unhappily to himself until Jordan sauntered over. His stiff tail gave a few wags. He smirked.
"Well get over here, then."
Killer licked Massacre's eyeball.

It was exactly the reaction Rep had been after, and he could not have looked more ******** smug if he tried, ignoring the irritation to follow Jordan's suggestion and just close the distance completely, snuggling up to Harrison with his most smarmy smirk, burying his nose against him with a muffled. "Guilty as charged." And a few sniffles of approval, finally listening to the overwhelming nose.
He felt much better, a good feeling that was only slightly dampened as he glanced over at his new badass minipet in time to see it moo approvingly at Killer for licking its eyeball.
At least they were friends.

"Traps need more time anyway," Jordan said lazily, and insinuated himself into the middle of the snuggle, smirking shamelessly.

"You smell like a wet dog," Harrison complained with a snort, suddenly covered in waterlogged animals. He took invasive whiffs of both of them, enough to almost suck hair up into his nostrils. "-ugh, definitely wet dog."
He didn't mind it, though.
The warmth did start to consolidate.
Killer whickered and tucked his legs under himself in a fat, contented herpicorn ball, sandwiched between Harrison's leg and Massacre.

Jordan got a surround sound sniff as Rep finally relaxed enough to investigate the properties of scent, surprised by how you could almost smell emotions from people, as well as yes, his own scent of wet dog, which actually smelled pretty good to this nose.
"You smell like damp dog too you know." He had a sudden urge to groom Jordan's ears, which he put a stop to pretty quickly, man these golems really got into your head, it was ******** unnerving. Instead he just checked to make sure Massacre hadn't run off on him, but no, the little bull seemed to have decided Killer was a good leader and had lay down beside him. He was going to have to train those buddy buddy tendencies out he figured.
The smell of the rain was familiar though, through all of it, and he found himself oddly homesick. Homesick for the wet and the damp, he really had been away too long if he'd forgotten how terrible it was.

"Maybe it's me, then," Harrison said, and while he didn't groom it, he set back into rubbing Jordan's ear.
He wondered if...
Harrison drew a claw up Rep's opposite shoulder, than gave his ear the same treatment.

Rep was still distractedly looking out at the rain when Harrison edged to rub his ear. His ears were normally sensitive as hell in his proper body, the golem only compounded that. And compounded it a lot.
He made an involuntary sound somewhere between a sound of objection and a whine but inclined his head to make the ear even easier to reach. He'd complain about manipulation when his brain stopped completely blissing out.

Jordan half-closed his eyes and let the contented purr return, only half listening for the sound of the traps going off. Anything that might get caught could probably wait till the rain let up a little, really.

"Figures I'd find an off button for you two, and I can't use it when we get back."
He agreed with Jordan that the traps could wait.
"Hey, I know we haven't discussed it any, but since the portals are clear again...did you guys want to take some time off together?"

It felt ridiculously good. He couldn't even get the effort together to make a snipe back for the off button comment, even his grump of irritation sounded much too happy.
The mention of time off though, was enough to haul him back to coherence just a bit. "Yss!" He thumped his tail on the ground approvingly "Alone time. No bunker. Yes."
It was short but he felt it about summed up his feelings on the matter.

"Usually," Jordan said with a drowsy smirk, "you're not trying to turn us off."
"Sounds good," he agreed. "Take you guys to dinner or something. Just us."

"Down, boy. ...Your treat?" Harrison asked with a toothy smile, slowing the circles. "I don't mind where we head, long as it's somewhere without a lot of bugs."

Rep was listening to the conversation. He was, though he didn't look it in the least, eyes closed almost looking as if he'd fallen asleep with Harrison rubbing his ear. Jordan's comment got a ghost of a smirk though, he loved the little remarks, always so ******** wonderfully teasing.
Dinner brought up frivolous limitations. "I d'nt have anything to wear" he mumbled sadly. "I didn't have anything to wear for Clarice's dinner either."
