Daria smiled at the female. "You're very kind, Cecelia dear. But I did have help. My glenmate Jondayla help me out a lot, along with his Chosen." She said truthfully. A pitiful glance from Damir caused her to chuckle. "You two go ahead and run along. Damir, stay out of trouble please." She teased before going back to her apples.

Damir herded cecelia away from his mother. "She's a wonderful mare..." He said under his breath with embarrasment

Damir studied Cecelia for a moment. "No... I wasn't pressure.. In fact I thought it was normal to have two mothers. I mean... It was difficult when Mira came to live with us... because there was so much tension between her and my mother... And all I wanted was for them to be together and happy... My Mom was so in love with Mira... But Mira... well you kind of remind me of her... She couldn't be tied down by anything. She was as wild as the wind... and eventually the tension caused her to leave, taking Purnima with her. I haven't seen her since I was a blanket..." He sighed for a moment. "I do remember Daria's sadness... When Mira left.. I swore to protect my mother and never leave her alone. I'd be her guardian and I'd never let her feel that heartbreak again. But now she has Kukai.. and I kind of lost my purpose....' He looked away for a moment. "In a way, I feel like its my duty to protect any of the females I begin to care for from heartache..." He shrugged.

"I'm sorry it had to be like that for you Damir. But...I think families can stay together. I know we don't have much experience with it considering our own families, but I think it can be done." She took the time to nuzzle him, "Come on, lets go explore a bit more before the sun goes down." Kyrielle started off in a random direction, looking back to see if he was following.

TIME SKIP

Damir made his way to the pond. He kept thinking about that strange mare, Arachnae. Like a spider she had spun a web in his brain. Her odd beauty had captivated him, even though he swore to Cecelia he thought she was more beautiful than any other mare he could ever meet. If Cece hadn't been in the picture there was no denying that Damir would chase that strange female until he was able to possess her, but there was Cece... and... Damir was befuddled.

As he made his way through the copse of trees he saw his beautiful mare, walking around despondently. "Cecelia?" He called out softly, not wanting to frighten her.

Damir came closer to Cecelia. "Are you okay?" He asked. His own guilty conscience p***k at his mind, but he swallowed it down. How could he explain it? Why was he attracted to so many females?
He gave Cecelia a small nuzzle.

Damir stepped back, hurt washing into his eyes which was worse than his guilt. "Cece.. I..." He hung his head, ashamed. Why didn't he do anything? Why didn't he back her up. "Cecelia... I didn't know what to do. And.. I dont know what we are." He bumped her chest with his nose. "But I do know, that I've never felt this way for any other mare before. Only you. Even if I'm attracted to someone else, I feel conflicted because this feeling that rises in my chest, when I see you, when I hear your voice, breathing, hoofsteps.. When you're near... This.. this feeling rises up in me, and it scares me because I don't know what it is. Its way more than what i felt for my mother and sisters when I swore to protect them..." He tried to look in her eyes, his own washed with grief and hope that she would understand what he was saying.
