He was confused why she apologized until he realized she had brushed his wing. “No no I’m ok.” He gave her a huge goofy grin. “Brushing my wings doesn’t hurt. Umm..” He thought for a moment. “It’s kind of like doing this.” Wriggling until he could get a paw above her he stroked her fur the way her tail had brushed his wing. “It doesn’t hurt, but it doesn’t feel as good as say this.” He brushed along her fur smoothing out the part he messed up.

"Oh okay I'm glad your okay,"Celen said in a relieved voice just before he pawed at her fur. Well he was right it didn't hurt but it wasn't exactly comfortable having her fur being pushed in a defying way of its flow. Though she had to say she did enjoy him smoothing it back out. She even arched slightly into his paw as he did.

He kept petting her surprised at her reaction. “You see how much better this feels?” He smiled at her. His tail wagged bit. He liked making other’s feel good and Celen seemed to be enjoying this. She was nice enough to let him stay with her so why not help make her feel special and happy? He knew he loved being petted.

Celen let out a loud purr. "Yeeess That does feel good," She said her voice still held a heavy purr showing how much she enjoyed. Her eyes fluttered close as he petted her. "Do you like this?"

Dar just kept right on grinning and petting Celen. “Yes I like being stroked like this. It’s how I had such a good comparison to the wing feathers.” His eyes twinkled. “I’m glad to make you happy.”

"Do you only like it because it is a good comparison to your wings or is there another reason or feeling behind it?" Celen asked wondering maybe if she was odd because she was enjoying it so much. She glanced at him with a confused look in her eyes. "Why does it make you glad that I am happy?"

“Well it’s not the exact same as when my wings are gently stroked but it was the closest I could think of.” He thought a bit more about her words but couldn’t really think of any other reason, well maybe just one. “It also makes me feel like I’m being spoiled a bit I guess.” He smiled at her last question. “Well you’re really nice so being able to make you smile makes me happy.”

"Hmm well I guess I can't expect them to be the same since wings are greatly different but I do see your point," She said with a confident nod of her head. "Spoiled eh? I would take that as a good thing no?" Her head tilted to the side in the must adorable way possible before a blush appeared. "You are really a sweetie Dar did you know that?"

He was glad that Celen understood him so well because Dar really couldn’t think of another way to explain it. It was hard to explain thing when it was a given to him and yet no one ever bothered to ask about it before. “Yes it’s a good thing.” Ah Celen was so cute. He just wanted to wrap her up and snuggle with her. He didn’t though because Dar understood that he was more cuddly natured than most and didn’t want to make anyone else uncomfortable. He shook his head back and forth. He wasn’t really called a sweetie. “I know I’m ah.” He thought of the word. “A plush.”

She flashed him a lovely smile. He was so sweet and nice. He had even been worried about her and barely knew her. It made her feel so special. She was glad that she had the right idea about things with him. "Plush?" she asked not completely understanding what he meant "You mean like a toy?"

He noded his ears flopping a bit. Yes if he understood that term right. “Yes I like cuddling like a plush.” He grinned at her. He laied his head over his paws and was tempted to see if Celen would be ok with curling up next to him. He was fine with how close they were now because he could feel her warmth which was nice.

"So in other words you like to cuddle a lot than huh? Hmm interesting. It might do you good out here in this weather to be honest it would save your life," Celen said with a yawn as her body started to tell her mind that she was tired and needed rest.

He nodded listening to her words fascinated. “wow so there are more plushie like foxes up north?” He was excited but Celen was clearly tired so he just snugged up closer to her to keep her warm. He was rather tired himself and being next to Celen was both exciting and calming at the same time.

Unfortunately Celen's body won out over her mind and she passed out next to the plushie like phim. She had wanted to talk more but she was quite tired. In the back of her mind as she slept she wondered if she was getting out of shape. Her ears twitched as they picked up the soft sound of Dar's voice.

It took Dar a moment or two to realize Celen was asleep next to him but when he did he softly hummed to her for a while longer before joining her in slumber. He didn’t know if humming or singing led to better dreams but he really hoped so. It was a thought he had picked up somewhere as a kit and held fast to ever since.
