Her highest level Pokemon? She thought back to each one she caught and then to Alu, who was right next to her. "My starter is my strongest I think. Though I haven't done enough work to face the gym." She admitted. She still had a lot of training to do.
She turned her head when she heard another voice in the area, and seemed that another guy here knew Regina. Oh nice! Someone else she could talk to as well. This day was getting better and better with more people showing up. "Is he a friend of yours?" She asked innocently.

"Behave, Blue." said Des irritably as the Manetric leaned in to lick Felicia's face when she got up and personal with him. The dog backed away slowly at Des's command, whimpering slightly. Regina did agree to go out and have a drink with him, so the faster she finished her business with this girl, the faster they could go. At the female Trainer's words, he shifted his gaze over to her. "We go way back." he replied. 17

Regina nodded, scribbling down the answers. Some trainers preferred to battle intensely as training, and then presumed that the Gym battle would be a breeze, and she could only hope that this girl was not one of those fools. "Very good. How would you describe yourself in terms of personality?" She glanced up, seeing Des reply to Alyss. Felicia looked rather disappointed at the Manectric backing off. Somewhat grudgingly, she retreated, too, and sunk back to the water, horn sticking out like a miniature shark's fin. She smiled, adding to Des's comment, "Indeed, we do. We traveled together a bit when we were younger, and we've kept in touch."

Terms of personality? She had to give this one some thought before she got her answer, though she listened to what the two trainers had to say about each other first. "Ah that sounds nice that you two got to travel. I hope I'll be able to find someone to travel with." She said, before finally noticing the two other Pokemon in the area. "Aw, those two are adorable!" She added, looking over from the Dragonair to the Manetric.
Noticing the like for cuteness, Alu started to poke Alyss' leg slightly, looking up at her with a slight, "Chika." She looked down then frowned. "You'll always be cute to me." She said, picking Alu up before turning back to Regina and Des. "I'd say as far as personality I'm just a cheerful person. Only other thing is that I know that I like the rain. It feels so nice."

Regina smiled at Alyss again, somewhat vaguely. The girl sounded a little co-dependent, in her opinion. Ah, well. Hopefully she could wind her way through the first Gym, and if not . . . oh, well. She looked somewhat surprised when she called her and Des's Pokemon 'adorable'. Well. Okay, then. The Dragonair, of course, heard the comment, and promptly rose out of the water again, a smug expression written all over her face. "Hey, no showing off." She poked the body of the Pokemon with the end of her pen. She ignored her, though, regarding the needy Chikorita. When Alyss gave her the answers, she nodded, filling that in. Arceus above, the girl sounded like a complete hippy, which was not helped by the presence of a Grass type that would soon become a Meganium. She shook her head, amused. "Alright. Now, do you think you've got it in you to complete the Etruan Circuit?"

This part she was unsure about. She knew that she would need to get other Pokemon so she could face the other gyms, but overall it didn't seem that difficult, so she put on her best smile. "Yeah I believe that I can get through the Etruan Circuit. It will take a lot of training and getting some new Pokemon first though."

Regina smiled back at Alyss. Interesting. "I see. Yes, most trainers tend to want a full team of six before they challenge their first Gym, but it's not necessary, because you're only allowed three to battle in it." She wrote down the girl's answer, before looking back up at her. "How many do you have in your team so far?" She'd only seen the Chikorita, but she assumed that the girl would have caught at least two more.

Oh, so they could battle with three. That would be good for her. "I've got three other Pokemon on me outside of my Chikorita." She said, calling out the rest of her team. She looked down at them and smiled sheepishly. "I think the gym, at the moment, could be easy for me. I just have a lot of leveling to do."

Regina tilted her head, examining the Pokemon. An Eevee, a Shinx and a Blitzle. Well. Someone wanted to win the whole thing with type advantage. She resisted the urge to shake her head at her. It wasn't good to get into the mind set that type was required to win. Ah, well. The girl would surely learn soon enough. For now, though, she recorded the data. "Fantastic. Finally, Alyss, what are you aspiring to be?" she asked.

"Uhm..." She started to say, before she shrugged. "I don't really have any sort of goal in mind. I just haven't wanted to be something like the Pokemon champ, Pokemon Coordinator, or any of that. If I had to choose one I'd go to be a Coordinator though. That sounds like a fun thing." She then looked at her team, then started to think about possible combinations. After one, she decided to shrug it off. There weren't any contests around here as far as she knew.

Regina nodded, scribbling down the last of the information. Huh. A Pokemon Coordinator. Well, they were pretty useless. She'd been considering mentoring the girl, but if her aspiration was to be a Coordinator, she wanted no part in that. "Alright. There's a big contest hall up in Iclea Town, but you need the fourth badge - from the Mosnia Gym - to go up the Battle Railway, which is the easiest way up, in my opinion." She pulled out the paper and put it behind the others, a new one out now. She stood, returning Felicia. "Good luck on your journey, Alyss."

Des only partially paid attention to the survey Regina was giving to the female Trainer. He kind of lost interest when the girl all but admitted she was a hippie. Instead, he turned his attention towards Blue. Seemed like he had a bit of dirt on his nose from digging in the Ruins earlier, so he led the dog towards to fountain to wash it off. Well, he supposed he could humor the Manetric for a little bit as thanks for digging around for him and finding that Old Amber. He reached into his bag and produced a bouncy ball, covered in bite marks. Upon seeing it, Blue barked and wagged his tail as he crouched down. After a few tosses (with Blue scampering after the ball to bring back and get pets), it seemed like Regina had finished up with the girl. Apparently the female Trainer wanted to be a Coordinator, which, if he was correct in his theory of what sort of Trainer Regina wanted to mentor, removed her chances of becoming mentored. He wondered what sort of Trainers she had surveyed. Well, he'd find out later. When Blue returned the ball one more time, he gave him a few more pets before a belly rub, then returned the Manetric back to his Pokeball before putting the bouncy ball away once he washed it off in the fountain. "Ready to go, Hayley?" he asked. 18

Oh, there actually was something like that here in Etrua? Well she would have a long ways to go so the gym battles would come first. "I'll keep that in mind." She said, thanking her. "I hope I run into you guys somewhere else." She added, heading away from them.

Regina nodded once more at her, waving goodbye to the newbie trainer. Grimacing, she faced Des again, tugging at her skirt. "Arceus, I hate this thing," she grumbled. "You're lucky, you picked up a profession that has reasonable clothing." She shook her head, shoving the clipboard back into her bag. "Anyway. What did you end up finding in the ruins?" she asked, heading in the direction of the nearest pub.

Des chuckled when Regina finally dropped her act. "If you picked a Ranger, you would still have had a tiny mini-skirt. Though I guess you'd still be a little more covered than with what you've got on." he said with a smirk. He walked next to Regina as they headed to the pub. She had asked him about what he had found. "Old Amber. I can finally get an intimidating-looking Flying type, though it'll take a while to raise it up to where everyone else is." he said. 19
