In her slumber she curled up tighter around her mate and inhaled Sasha’s scent. It was comforting since Asche had rarely ever bothered to sleep near another fox and often was alone because of it. It seemed strange to her even in her dreams to feel so warm and almost happy.

Sasha slept in a deep sleep and let out a content sound feeling this warm safe object curl around her tighter. She was practically purring and her tail flipped back and forth in her dream. She was having a lovely dream that just made her happy her legs twitched as she did. Things were starting to look for the better for her.

Time passed quietly and unknowingly for Asche she woke up curled around a warm body and for a moment she felt a bit disoriented. The smell brought it back to her. This living thing in her grasp was Sasha and Asche was now her mate. Laying her head down on the cool ground she kept an eye on her mate and watched as her mate slept on. Asche was still a bit tired herself and was half in and out of dosing again soon enough.

Sasha had no clue long she had slept. She couldn't believe she had fallen back to sleep. Why was she so tired? She yawned and stretched out her tail straightening and brushed against the furry body next to her. This made her eyes pop open oh yeah she had a mate. This made a smile crawl over her muzzle. She gave Asche's muzzle a lick and sat there with a smile.

Feeling a lick on her muzzle she opened her eyes and looked at the smiling face of Sasha. Blinking she found she was wearing a similar smile. “Good morning.” That was how mates greeted one another wasn’t it. Using a wing she rubbed the back of Sasha’s back before letting out a huge yawn she tasted the inside of her teeth and grimaced. She really needed a drink of water.

Sasha let out a light chuckle "Well actually its more afternoon than morning but good morning none the less," Her voice was light and happy. She rubbed her back gently against the wing that was rubbing against it before standing up. "Suppose we should find a meal or something to drink soon huh?"

Asche didn’t really care what time of day it was. “Drink.” She yawned and let her teeth show before licking her teeth and ending her yawn. The rubbing on her wings felt very good. “That was nice.” Asche stood up and stretched out shaking some dust off. She felt like she needed a bath. Perhaps after the drink she could bath.

She smiled and shook out her fur sending dust every where as well. "Drink works and glad you like it. I've never touched a phim's wings before but I would think it would have to be a delicate touch so that they don't get damaged,"

“Not so delicate as they look.” Shaking out her wings the phim headed toward water giving a jerk of her head to have Sasha follow her. She didn’t feel like talking until she got some moisture back in her mouth. When she got to the water rather than lapping it up she just stuck the whole lower part of her jaw into the water and slightly opened her mouth. Water came rushing in. Closing her mouth she swished the water with a slight shake of her head and swallowed. She felt awake and more alive now. Turning back to her mate she figured she would wait until Sasha got a drink before bathing.

"Mmm I suppose that is a good thing otherwise I could see plenty of situations where they could get hurt," Sasha murmured before following after her. She watched as Nai got a drink but it was more like a gulp of water. She learned from being raised in a desert that was a good way to get a tummy ache and lapped up the water slowly than was tempted to stick her face into the water but was able to hold herself back from doing so.

Happy to have the taste of dirt out of your mouth she was feeling much better. While Sasha was drinking Nai nudged her dusting off her mate. They could both use a good bath from the way things were. That hat needed to be cleaned too. Nai didn’t know if that feather in the hat would be ruined or not so she would have to ask Sasha before she just tossed it into the water, though she was sorely temped. “Bath.” It wasn’t a question or offer but was going to be a demand.

Sasha looked at Nai with a confused look at first and even blinked in wonder. She than glanced down at herself and than over at Nai and finally got it. Nai wanted them to take a bath cause they were dirty. "Alright,"She said softly and than took her hat off and set it away from the water before wondering into the pool.

Smiling Asche slid into the water with her mate. She went in until it reached her chest then she lay down in the water and did a little roll. Poping up her fur was soaked but it was a nice start to getting clean. It made her think back to her trip with another wingless fox. She looked at Sasha and moved closer to her mate. Using a wing she cupped up water and doused her mate. She was feeling much better as she got cleaner. Using the wing she doused her mate with she wrapped her mate up and set about cleaning her mate while holding her still.

Sasha was about to let herself down gently into the water when she suddenly had it falling down on her causing her to let out a startled 'eeep' from the shock and coldness from it. She than let Asche pull her close and clean her. "You don't have to do that you know?"

Asche ignored her mate’s comment. If she didn’t want to clean her mate than she wouldn’t have bothered. She kept Sasha close using her body heat to offset the coldness of the water. Sasha smelled nice even when dirty but clean it was even better. Asche smiled softly nuzzling Sasha enjoying having a mate.
