Finally, she had managed past the wooden platform without any more wooden crates falling on her to get to the next component of the obstacle course.
Judging from the netting just below the bridge, Edel could guess what was going to happen if she attempted to cross it.
It did.
Lying face up on the netting, the ghoul let out a sigh and slowly made her way back to the start of the bridge.

Edel, for a moment, thought that after she had gotten past that hole in the bridge, all that she had to worry about was keeping her balance on the rickety and wobbly bridge. She was only just a few metres away from the other end ... she could nearly reach it --

And the ghoul was lying down there in the netting again.

Mitzi had found another obstacle course and was looking forward to trying it out. She made it most of the way through this one before anything tripped her up, but once again it was the trick bridges. This time she made it most of the way across before the boards beneath her gave out.
She found herself bouncing on the net below, and sighed. Well, time to climb up and try again.

She had just gotten back up to the course when she triggered a spear trap. This one she managed to mostly avoid, although she did have one sleeve pinned, and pinned well. It was going to take some time to work it free...
By the time she did she was starting to feel hungry, and headed back to the village to find something to eat.

And for the third time in a row, the ghoul found herself squirming in the safety net below, unable to cross the bridge.
Maybe she could just try and make her way back ... the other way ....

Yin found his way to the obstacle course yet again. And then found himself in a wooden crate.
Some might have found it fun. Those would be individuals that liked being in small confined spaces, and Yin was not that sort. With the frenzy of a madman he began to do everything in his power to break free of the crate. Wooden crate? Meet fist. And heel.

Well, the crate had only seemed to enrage him, much as this entire course had for the past several days. So he just...went through the course. He came out at the end feeling rather proud of himself for having passed the course, only to see a sign ahead.
Great. More reading.
Feeling rather whiny about it he approached the sign and began to read. Wait a minute. So the course was ahead? He had just now made it to the obstacle course?
What had he just went through?

A bit disgruntled Yin began to head back toward the dormitory, there was no time to try that course right now. Then he noticed something glinting off to the side. He reached down and picked it up, noting that it was another odd pebble. He tucked it away and continued his trek back to the dorms.

Ulmuka would try again. He was determined to master this course again! He'd gotten to the end once before but all attempts since had been failures. Unfortunately he got off to a bad start, caught in the trapped nets.

The strix buckled down, breezing through the course with a new determination. He hooted triumphantly to reach the end. Even if there was a sign there. He ignored it. The satisfaction of finishing the first part was enough.
