"Forgive me your royal purpleness if I do enjoy a good sulk once in a while. I think we're all entitled to them considering our usual field trip events are far less enjoyable." She waved her hand again before glancing at Shehk; she was too good at guilting Sammy with the folded ears puppy face. Really annoying how well it worked. Though in this case it was for the better as Sammy instead cracked a small smile.

"Hey. You don't know whats going on in my head. How do you know I'm not more spastic then you are? Maybe I just hide it better then you." She reached over gently tickling an ear. "These things are the biggest poker tell I've ever seen when it comes to reading you hun."

For a few steps she broke away from the group before turning around cocking her head, then looking down at the little Skark. "Ohhh you again. Canon... well like Riley said, my name's Sammy." She frowned, "All we're missing is Siddie.... I guess she stayed back to avoid the sun today..." She glanced up dimming her purple burning eyes to see a bit more clearly; the sun was indeed a lot brighter here.

"We should go to the beach later..." she mumbled off hand.

Riley ignored Sammy's grumpy guss attitude in favor of the spitfire that Canon was. She snickered at the energy the ghoul exhibited, and held back to let the group go in before her, taking up the position of rear almost immediately. Also she has no lives and is going to die instantly.

HANDSHAKE ENTHUSIAST!! Shehk's tail wagged as Canon shook her hand, almost seeming like a rebound excitement effect when there was so much enthusiasm going along. "Well! We're happy to have you, m'dear~" she grinned.

Shehk gave Sammy a knowing look. "Uh huhh....." her brows were about as high as they could go. "If my ears were all knowing, you wouldn't have to ask me about things." she countered, scratching insider her ear. "But maybe I just wear my thoughts on my sleeves."

Or something like that.

She wore them on her ears. That worked a bit better.

Still, when Sammy mentioned the beach, Shehk shrugged. "Swimming might be nice." she agreed, though she'd end up very red by the end of it. She still had been lucky that Invictus had loaned her some sunscream when they'd been at the beach for trials or she would have been a lobster right then too! Fortunately she wasn't.

Instead, she moved to step onto the curious looking elevator that would take them down. Down into...

The pricolici passed a glance downwards as the elevator in question began to move, trying to not look concerned, but still. It was quite a ways down and as the ground got closer it really didn't seem to get all that closer at all, but rather it seemed to get darker and more enclosed. Walls. Walls seemed to make Shehk infinitely nervous, a twitchy paranoia she'd suddenly gotten into ever since the dream. She didn't like walls. Claustrophobia.

The dorms weren't so bad. They were more open, she could see beyond them. This?

This felt tight.

Tight, and there was something slowly filling up the cave with them. Fog? No, it wasn't fog. She knew fog, it didn't taste like fog.

"Poison." she said after a moment, but wasted no time in moving in further. They weren't getting out the same way they came in, after all...

"All showing maybe not, but they show enough. Like when you're melting into a puddle of puppy bliss, or disappointed, upset. I can keep listing if you would like?" She smiled all the more.

"As for us and say a beach, I'm sure we can find a nice shaded spot where the water comes a bit more inland for us to swim? What are they called, Savage gushes about them, a tide pool? Reef? Something like that."

Eventually they arrived and Sammy could only frown at the deep drop into the darkness. As they piled in her eyes flickered brighter lighting up the room a bit with a purple glow. "S'nice having these things actually. Make great flash lights."

When they finally got into the tunnel Sammy didn't even hesitate. She simply ran to the edge; and jumped. Before Riley even made it down Sammy would land with a heavy thud sending dust up into the air, but beating some of the miasma down into the shaft.

"C'mon slow pokes!"

Siddie liked purple, but this was not a kind of purple she liked. It had a strange, acrid smell to it, and as more of the stuff flowed into the tunnel, she saved her breath and just hurried. The pit was deep and precarious-looking; the ropes looked rough, though, and Siddie wasn't about to jump down like Sammy had. Sammy was tougher. Instead, Siddie slipped over the edge of the pit and made her way carefully down, clinging nervously to the rocks and going as quickly as she dared.

The purple haze thickened as she descended, and when her foot hit solid ground, she was startled. "Oh! Where do we go next?"

As the elevator descended, Canon tried to see the bottom of the shaft, curious to see what their destination was. She was delighted that another ghoul had joined them, but with all the distractions, she completely forgot to ask her name.
When they finally reached the bottom and a purple haze filled the air, Canon was confused when the others began their descent as quickly as they could.

"It's just poison!" she called down after them, taking a nice deep breath of it so she could examine it more thoroughly later. When a unpleasantly heavy feeling entered her limbs, Canon frowned, the first twinge of alarm making her antennae shiver. Poison wasn't supposed to effect her like this! It would be like if her tail had suddenly started attacking her of its own volition! What was going on?!

Unnerved, Canon jumped straight down the pit, landing less than gracefully as her response time slowed. Not. Good!

HP: 20/30

Riley heard the sounds of someone falling, even from underwater. She had already been swimming when Shehk made her spectacular fall, but the sound of a body hitting the floor was a muted thud vibrating in the water. She rose up out of the water suddenly to investigate, slamming her head against the low ceiling and dropping back down with a splash.

That. Hurt.

Sammy paused for just one moment to admire Canon's spirit. That was quickly cut short by her scrambling over to Shehk who was laying very still in a room filled with poison "Thank Jack you don't need air Shehk... C'mon Canon the others swam ahead I've got Shehk."

Slipping Shehk over her shoulders Sammy did the only thing she could think of, she stepped into the water and took a deep breath sucking down all the water she could handle to weigh her down. Rather then swim, she walked. Fish bones all around the floor of the cave cut at her, but none of it mattered as she tugged Shehk along to get her through the cave in one piece. Eventually she emerged on the other side. She paused putting Shehk down to punch her gut twice, causing a torrent of water to be vomited forth.

"I ******** hate... dat trick..." she said with a slight bubble.
