Lerin just shook her head and waited for him to start walking towards this cave area they where going to. As a female she did get those “Steak” looks but as a girl she was also allowed to go over and bite them. Boys just had to suffer in silence. Some times it just wasn’t that fair. “Yeah we should probably start walking towards the cave, since its winter time night time comes rather early and we didn’t meet up until later on in the day.” She agreed. Eventually yomi started walking and she followed behind him watching him. It would be her first time living near the ocean that she could really remember. She was pretty sure she was born near the ocean but her family had gotten up and moved. However both her father and mother loved living there so she was never really sure why they had moved. Since then she only went by the ocean when a mission called for it, or if she was traveling or visiting friends.
Maybe it was next to some redwoods. Lerin always loved that type of tree and the cool ocean breeze on top of that would make the place paradise. Then again it had to be somewhere cool because she was pretty sure Tsukiyomi didn’t go for anything too warm. They both where under the impression It was better to be cold because then you could get blankets or covering or warm up next to others. When it was hot there wasn’t many ways to make the situation better you just had to suffer.

Tsukiyomi noticed that Lerin seemed to have gathered everything that they needed and looked up at the sky. He was pretty sure he could navigate them towards the caves from where he was. However he did let Lerin take them back towards where they had first met up during the day. After all she did know the area better. Once he was in familiar territory he took the lead again. It was rather silent, since after all they must have both been thinking things over. He should have actually been paying more attention to directions and everything but then He didn’t want to get his hopes up if Lerin had said no, or if she hadn’t caught on to the fact he wanted to be with her. He was sure he was going to stay a couple days but if things had gone other wise he would have just probably traveled around just a bit more. Thus there would be no reason to visit the caves again. However it had been one of the reasons he pushed leaving early, it gave them some leeway just in case he got them lost.
He turned back towards Lerin to see if he was going to fast and gave her a smile when she looked up questioningly at him. “Oh just seeing if I was going to fast, not that I doubt your ability but you looked like you where thinking about something. I didn’t want to walk away to fast and then get separated from you.” He replied.

Lerin smiled and shook her head. “Yep I was thinking about some things but you don’t have to worry about losing me. One thing I found out how to do on those rather long walks from camp to camp was to think about other things. Just don’t suddenly duck out of sight and I probably wont lose you” Lerin replied looking up at him. Then a sort of silence passed over them again as they walked. Hmm she would have to think of something wouldn’t she to pass the time. After all there was probably a rather long journey ahead of them. She had asked about his favorite color, animal and family and had responded with her own answer. She could tackle him for training as that was another way the two would spend the time. However that wouldn’t get them very far in their journey.
“you know the world works in strange ways. At first when you get separated from your group of friends it always seems as if you run into the one you wouldn’t mind never seeing again. Then the one you really want to meet comes along” Lerin finally spoke up, chuckling at the look she got from Yomi.
