Oooh, auditions were starting! Molly wasn’t all that eager to step up first, and instead treated herself to watching some of the others go first. She was smiling the entire time, sporting a rather encouraging and happy persona and would clap energetically for those who had finished….even if some of them sounded uh…not so in pitch. After a bit, Molly deemed herself ready, and took up her fiddle once more for her turn. Now fiddle was one of the few things she considered herself actually good at… so you had to pardon her if she seemed to be showing off as she played. The Mist trainee was even swaying and tapping her foot to the music as she played and once she was finished swept the bow across the strings with a flourish and a wide smile. She then moved off to the side with her case, and secured her fiddle. That felt rather darn good.

It was a relief when the others started doing their things, and Syd scampered to where the donuts were, her face still slightly flushed as she tried to look like she didn't care that she had just made an idiot of herself in public.
Izy whispered. I can't leave. Sasha's my friend, Syd told him silently. She was really looking forward to this--even if I did sort of... make an a** out of myself again. At least they aren't seeing my panties!
<... Point.>

Jerry had seated himself with the rest of the 'audience' on the grass, a serious expression on his face and his guitar cradled lovingly on his lap. As people went up, he scribbled down notes on his clipboard, tongue pinned between his lips as he concentrated.
Honestly... the whole show was a lot better than he expected! This was going to be amazing.

Crossing his arms, Rep decided he'd be very much watching the performances rather than participating. He'd been told too many times how ******** terrible his singing was, and he'd started to believe them. Besides, there were too many people here to do something as ******** nancy as singing or whatever. He just wasn't that sensitive. Still. Didn't mean he couldn't watch.
He did notice as Jordan arrived, even more glad he'd decided not to perform, he couldn't be arsed making an idiot of himself in front of Harrison, Rin AND Jordan.
Despite being completely musically inept he looked on like a critic as people went to do their piece. He was impressed at the fact Rin could sing at all, not something he'd actually considered in his time living next door to her. Sure, she had a weird moment in there but it wasn't as ear bleedingly terrible as he was hoping expecting it would be.
He was surprised Harrison got stuck in with the auditions, though much less surprised when the man opted for a kazoo. He played it as well as anyone could play one of the damned things. He was still wearing the glasses.
Rep looked fairly disappointed as Jude faltered, stage fright was very unmanly.
Syd, despite singing a song that made his ears want to climb off his head and make for the door did impressively well.
And then Jordan was up, and it may not have mattered how his performance went because Rep wasn't actually listening to the song.
Molly of course was impressive, as she'd already demonstrated.
"Not half bad I guess. " he stated to no one in particular, looking aloof, taking out one of his spare donuts to snack on it, his reward for his in depth feedback.

"It's wonderful!" Jerry agreed, beaming at Rep before giving him a nudge, "You going to give it a go, Red?" He grinned. See? He could be friendly, even if he hated the guy. Music was wonderfully therapeutic, and put him in a fantastic mood. He was ready to love everyone.

Rep shot Jerry an utterly deadpan look. "No."

He'd heard there was donuts. If there was one way to get Otto to go someplace, it was with sweets.
The short blonde crept into the room during the auditions, looking around silently for the yummy snacks.
Where...where...

Jordan had overheard. His hands landed on Rep's shoulders."I embarrassed myself in front of everyone. Your turn." He gave Rep a gentle shove towards the "stage."

Rep was more frightened than encouraged by the almost dazzling enthusiasm and took a tiny baby step away from Jerry. "I don't ******** do music." There was no way, no ******** way.
And then Jordan was involved too and it was just not ******** fair at all.
He rubbed his temples irritably, inwardly cursing the sirensong of donuts and the trouble they'd landed him in.
And suddenly stage fright didn't seem so unmanly as he was faced with the scariest thing in the ******** world. A room full of his peers.
And the only ******** song he could think of was the song that had haunted his waking hours for the last few weeks, even creeping into his head in the infirmary after the horrible lair. So he sighed, looking utterly nonplussed and imitating Jerry sung.
"You gotta' be kind, you gotta' be loving, You gotta care, and share, and be there, You gotta' know when not to be shoving. But of course the most important step... It helps not to be Rep.
You can hide your woes in misery, but you'll just drive them all away. You can curse and spit all gingery, But that's not what'll make 'em stay~
Remember this important step: It helps not to be Rep. "
In the most ironic way possible.

Jude gave a nice tambourine-filled clap for Syd as well as Jordan who was probably just as embarrassed as he was. The clap for Molly was a bit more energetic simply because he knew her better than he did most of the others that auditioned and prior to that he had given Harrison small encouraging smile. Cause Harrison was his buddy. That is why.
He was about to do something else and then he noted Otto was there, "You here to try out, too?"

What the hell was that sound? It was a simple question that Aria had. She couldn't identify the sound from where she had stood, frozen in a hallway inside the main Deus Ex complex as she strained to listen. It sounded like... Something dying? No. Did someone in the Death division forget to close the door behind them before they started on a, ah, "project" as they liked to call them? No. There was something about the cacophony of sound that made Aria's eyebrows furrow in thought as she tried to place the sounds.
As she approached the main door to the outside, her eyes were caught by the colorful and out-of-place flyers on the hallway walls. She froze. Oh. Oh. So that was it. No wonder she didn't recognize it. Aside from the few cassette tapes she owned, music was...
She stopped herself with a sharp breath, glancing in the direction the sounds of the auditions were coming from. She could see the training field from here, the hunters gathered with their musical instruments. They were the source of the sound. The decision was surprisingly easy: Nope. In the blink of an eye, Aria spun on her heel and was rapidly walking away in the other direction, fighting back the memories of Allan's karaoke machine and his open mic nights that took place right next door to her room. Nope, nope, nope.

Alesiter paused looking at Rep and then to Jerry. Well this was completely different than when the guys were both drunk. Aleister managed to find his way over to Jerry. "Did you talk him into singing that?"
The blonde death hunter trainee looked almost skeptical. They hated each other... what would make Rep sing the song Jerry did?"

ILU 5 EVR I rolled a 8 and forgot to fill in so to keep order fun i post MEOW She gave a blinking stare to rep, before catcalling him. Good ******** show. She didn't get it, but hey, there was some joke there. And he wasn't half bad! Clerise decided that. Well. Sasha looked too happy to be a downer at, and in the spirit of things, she'd... Well. Maybe participate. She tried to think of a song that was..you know. Not terrible rap, pop, or a combination. Nope. No such luck. So she started to belt a certain song, Nicki Minaj rap included. Her voice was untrained and far from special, but she managed to hit the notes. But the really important part, was that she got the rap down. It was obvious she had maybe...done it one too many times...Probably in the mirror. Can I get that 'Tron, can I get that Remy? Can I get that coke, can I get that Henny? Can I get that margarita on the rock, rock, rocks? Can I get salt all around that rim, rim, rim, rim?
Trey, I was like yo', Trey Do you think you could buy me A bottle of Rosé? Okay, let's get it now
I'm with a bad b***h, he's with his friends I don't say hi, I say keys to the Benz Keys to the Benz, keys to the ********' right, yeah, B to the ten
If a b***h try to get cute, I'ma stuff her Throw a lot of money at her, then you'll ******** ******** her, ******** her, then you'll ******** her Then I'ma go and get my Louisville SluggerShe grinned nervously at Sasha, exhilarated. "That wasn't so bad, actually, I guess. Whatever. Gimme another donut."
