Elite Four Max has appeared...
The dark shadow was apparent as it moved over the land, like a cloud's, but much faster. Max was far above it, riding his dragonite towards Bysse City. A new batch of newbies had just arrived from the docks from all over the world. Luckily today was sunny and cloudless letting Max view the earth beneath him. "This is route one were really close." He said loudly to Beast over the roar of the wind. Max noticed the amount of trainers on route one were rather large. Max pondered, Hmm, maybe an introduction is in order. "Beast land!" Max commanded. The Dragonite did as told and dived towards the earth before pulling up at the last second and landing on his feet. Max hopped down and clicked the button on his timer ball to make Dragonite return. Max looked at the all the trainers hoping his Dragonite would not attract to much attention. Which one should he talk to first? He thought. The answer soon came to him as he spotted a trainer heading briskly toward route 3. Judging by the time elapsed, He thought, Only a truly expert battler would have beaten the gym by now, and even then they would probably have visited the ruins. Max walked out in front of the trainer. "Trainer, are you sure your ready for route 3?" Max asked him.

Vayne called his Ledyba over; Who gave a wave goodbye to the blue-haired boy. Vayne looked around and considered to moving to route 2, best you challenge pokemon to stronger levels. Vayne began to walk towards route 2, but stopped when a small ralts came across the road. Vayne watched small psychic type look around, Vayne quickly took out a pokeball and struck the Ralts. The pokeball barely shook as the psychic type was caught, it felt too easy... Vayne picked up the small pokeball and let the ralts out. It instantly looked around at the strange new people, and began to cry. That explains it, it's a baby pokemon... Vayne thought and sighed. Well, He got himself in some kind of trouble but he made himself responsible for it now. Vayne picked up the small ralts and patted its head; avoiding the horn. "Calm down..." Vayne said softly, Didn't he feel ridiculous... Then again it wouldn't be the first time, Vayne thought about Zuzu for a moment, remembering taking care for the baby pokemon. Cyndaquil tugged on Vayne's coat, which got him back to reality. He looked back at his team and began to walk towards Route 2. "Let's go." He said, cradling the now calmed Ralts. Post 43 Chael saw the Dragonite trainer. He would have to be a strong trainer to tame such a beast. "Very much so. I just started today and the Gym Leader is absent from their post after I went in. So I head onward to train my team." Chael responded, motioning to the five Pokemon following him. The first was a male Totodile with scars running throughout his body, from fights before meeting his trainer. Argos, the Ttodile had wild eyes that looks for a fight in every direction. Besides the starter was a common sight among new trainers. A female Rattata, who stood calmly. Obviosly unlike her bloodthirsty partner, Fear was the level headed one of the monsters in the group. The next was an unexpected sight for trainers at all. A male Eevee by the name of Tsuki. He played with his paws showing his childlike qualities. A Timburr called Bruce was next, holding his log of wood carefully. Then a Blitzle named Lizzy. "Besides even if I'm not, I'm going to challenge the Champion when I get the chance so I have to be able to cope with difficult situations." Chael added, analytical stare written on him, plain as day. Spikey brown hair and electric blue eyes were his most showing traits, the spitting image of his father. Well that's what he figured, since he looked nothing like his mother. This man had been flying around, looking at the trainers. So he was possibly looking for future opponents. The Pokemon with him was strong.... He couldn't be the Genesia leader, having desert suite clothing. And his Pokemon were on a higher caliber than leader status. "What's an Elite Four member doing here?" The Johto native asked, quite pleased with his dudction, although you would never guess it past his serious face. Elite Four Max has appeared...
"If your going to face the champion, I recommend staying around route 1 and 2 until you defeat the Blysse Gym." Max looked sternly at the kid as the kid studied him. After he addressed him as elite four, Max was surprised. "Excellent deduction skills. Have those been useful in battle?" Max had not battled for a few days and he was itching for a fight. Maybe, we could battle this kid? I would probably destroy him. Lets battle him and give him a few pointers. Max touched one of the pokeballs around his waist. "How about I battle you to give you a little training?" Max said at last.

Post 44 "They've helped when I used my Venonat back at home." Chael responded, remembing her. She had helped a lot to fend off those annoying Bug Catchers near Goldenrod City. They were a rush and think later group of fellows and so he needed to only poison their precious bugs and stall them. Let's see, by his clothing it seemed he specialized in ground types. The goggles adorned on the mans head probably helped with moves such as SandStorm. Most likely he had a Flygon or Tyranitar on his team. Maybe a Whiscash, Sandslash and a member of the Swinib family. Maybe, or he was over analyzing the situation. When he mentioned battling, Chael nodded and simply said "As long as you don't hold back. My name is Chael Riverton, and Argos step up." he added as the Totodile moved foward in front of him. His first official battle as a trainer would be with none other than an Elite Four member. Good, he wanted a challenge in which losing was a high chance of happening. He would have to pay more focus, devise a strategy to get through his defense, while holding off an expertly trained Pokemon. Elite Four Max has appeared...
"Don't hold back, eh? I was going to go easy, by using my Bibarel, who is lovingly named 'HM Derp =D'. Instead I use this." Max grabbed an ultraball from his waist. He tossed it high in the air. "Go Abby!" The ultraball burst open with a flash of light. An Absol landed in front of Max. "Absol..." Abby purred. "Abby, time to battle!" The Absol put a claw it was holding in one of its paws onto its horn and hissed at the totodile. "For my first move! Abby use stone edge!" Max commanded. The Absol's horn turned into rock, and it rushed towards the totodile in an attempt the slice it. "Damn, her aim's off. No critical hit this time." Max said as he noticed the absol's direction.

Vayne still cradled the Ralts, who was looking around at the new area, sensing it was new place. Cyndaquil looked around as well, the place smelled strange and it had some feeling of hostility towards him; He gripped vayne's coat more. Pidgey looked around the new area, She didn't know this area and felt the need to explore it; That's what she did, pidgey broke off from her team and began to scout the area. Ledyba watched her friend fly away, and smiled about it; She had finally found an interesting team. Vayne breathed in the sea air and sighed, he felt somewhat sick the smell was stronger here than in the city or Route 1. He had enough of the sea from his cruise. As he walked further into the route, he was greeted with a Purloin. The examined vayne and his team, then took a striking pose. it looked like it was searching for a fight. The one who took up the challenge was Ledyba,, who hasn't fought in awhile. She didn't waste anytime for the attack just swoop down and tackled the cat; who was quick to retaliate with a scratch attack, the cat was nimble and much faster than Ledyba. The bug type continued to charage at the cat with tackles but to no avail. vayne took out a pokeball and lobbed it at the cat, who quickly broke free but was damaged critically once free from the pokeball. The cat struggled to stand and run away. Ledyba seemed proud and returned back to Vayne. Post 45 Argos was rammed by the ram-like Pokemon and was thrown upwards by the assault. It wasn't as effective luckily, as he was water type. At least they had that. Chael's eyes flickered to all of his surroundings as ideas went whirling in his head and searched for the perfect one, like a poor man trying to win at the slot machines. As quickly as the poor man would be to pull the lever he called out "Aerial attack! Use Water Gun!" Argos blasted water from his mouth towards the Absol beneath him, shaking his jaw as to spread out the attack by an average degree. Who would expect an attack from an alligator mid air? Not so much as a Snorlax but it was something for a newly established trainer. Elite Four Max has appeared...
It didn't faint. Max thought as his eyes widened in shock. "That's one tough totodile." As Max said this totodile unleased a shower of water on Abby. Abby came out relative unharmed physically, but was a thourghly soaked cat. Abby frowned and blinked a bit before shaking off the water. "Now Abby, use X-Scissor" The Absol jumped towards Argos and slashed in his direction twice in a green X shape. Max looked at Abby's aim again. This time it was going to be a critical hit for sure.
((Water does not resist rock, water just supereffective against rock. If your wondering why I'm emphasizing crits so much is because Absol with Razor Claw and a high crit move has a 50% chance of critical hit.))

Post 46 And thus it was Argos fell to the ground, unconscious. Chael showed concern for a moment before his face turned calm and collected once more. The claw that Absol was wearing made its attacks stronger. Probably a Razor Claw. He quickly picked up his reptile and caressed him in his arms. "Thank you." Charl said as he figured out how the Absol worked. He was what they called a 'sweeper'. Powerful moves with a high critical chance. Thus he needed to lower that chance, get the Absol's weak point then go in! His Eevee ran up now, ready to face the dark type. Tsuki grinned as his trainer commanded "Playtime!" Tsuki for excited as he faced away from his opponent. Then he canine started digging and digging... and digging. Sand flew backwards, towards the Absol's face. They just used Sand Attack! ((to be exact absol is known as a glass cannon. its to frail to sweep.))
Abby was slightly blinded by the sand attack. She did her best to get the sand out of her eyes. "Abby, use Night Slash!" The Absol shook her head again and again. The dust had gotten her, she lashed forward into nothing. "Damnit, it missed!" Max said before clapping a bit. "Well played. Evasion and Accuracy are key players in any battle." Now, Max was waiting for the eevee's next move.

Since he hadn't even gone more than a hundred feet from Blyse, Nolan turned right around to heal up his new Shinx ... and just to make sure Snivy really was okay. She had taken some really hard Tackles. After a quick check-up by the nurse on duty, it seemed the pokemon were fine after their heated battle and perfectly fine to go on for today. Nolan didn't know who to believe, since his gut feeling was that Shinx and Snivy would be too tired to battle. Or maybe Snivy would refuse like she had before. Nolan grimaced at that thought. He did, however, again walk out of town. He had the will, he had the pokemon ... now Nolan just needed to learn a little more about the basics of battling. When she would battle, Snivy had done all the hard work back then, and frankly, Nolan was relieved enough to believe that he really HAD chosen the best starter for him. With a little spring in his step, Nolan again walked onto Route 1, wondering just what else was out there in the wilderness. Catching another pokemon seemed like a bad idea to him now, so he'd just get these three into fighting condition ... Yes, that meant Dosu, his Magikarp, too. But that's right, Shinx would be officially registered to him by now, and the pokedex would have some information on ... yup, it was a him. Nolan meant to get to training, but he really wanted to figure out how to work all the features of the pokedex first. Finding a good sized rock to sit on this time, Nolan did double-check to make sure it wasn't really a Geodude, and before he got too absorbed in the device's buttons, he let out all his pokemon. Snivy stretched and trotted off to find the brightest spot of sun. Shinx hopped up and down when he formed out of the light, happily running up to sit on the little boulder too. Magikarp ... well, scarred Dosu, he just laid there on his side in the grass. His big eye though was taking in the new sights, and really, the fish pokemon looked as comfortable on land as it was in water. Nolan had to apologize anyway, "Sorry, Dosu, I haven't seen any water around here yet. Um, but meet Snivy and Shinx!" "Kaaaaar?" Shinx had hopped off the rock again, and while introductions were being made, the little cub playfully pawed at the fish's tail. Nolan smiled and said, "Hey, Dosu, why don't you show these two newbies a trick or two? How about ... a game of tag?" Dosu answered balefully, "Kaaar," but the fish's eyes narrowed to slits, choosing his first target. And with a strong flick of his tail, Dosu flipped and flew through the air, bapping Snivy in the back of the head. The Grass Snake whipped around, indignant with the disrespectful treatment, but Dosu had already flipped away again. Shinx, not quite understanding the game, just danced on his paws, charging up a little electricity in case it was his turn or something. Nolan leaned back again, engrossed with poking buttons on the pokedex, while Snivy chased around the flopping Magikarp, trying to tag Dosu in vain as he bounced all over the grass. Post 47 "Yes, now..." Chael said as he went into thought. Tsuki wasn't the best with straight commands. He was too young. As such you'd have to coax him into using moves. Excitement in his voice, he showed joy this one time as he nealt and said "Aw, good boy! Who's a good boy? Tsuki is!" The Eevee's tail started to flail around as he jumped once and made a cute Eevee noise. Max, being an expert trainer, would know what move the normal type just used. Tail Whip. ((I don't really online battle socim not familiar with the terms. Thanks though.)) Elite Four Max has appeared...
Max did not want Abby to miss again, and this would not be as fun without some diversity. It was time for a new pokemon. "Return Abby!" The Absol stood perfectly still as it was engulfed by light before dissapearing into the depths of the ultraball. Max picked another ultraball off his waist. "Go, Corneelia!" In another burst of light, A large eel emerged from the ball. The eelectross was large and didn't look the faint bit dettered by the puny eevee.

Post 48 "Time to switch strategies then. Bruce, take Tsuki's place and set up a Focus Energy." Chael said, taking a note from the Elite Four's book. The Timburr ran in front of Chael as Tsuki returned to his side. Closing his eyes, Bruce began to focus and slowly flex his muscles. Then he opened his eyes, calm and in a fighters pose.
