His expression shifted as Candace's lips left his cheek, already groaning in embarrassment as Sasha started singing. "I'm fine! I'm fine I'm fine I'm fine!" He babbled, flinching away from her to rub his face, "Sorry... sorry, I think I just... psyched myself out in the beginning there ahahaha... silly. Silly. Um." He cleared his throat, glancing anywhere but at Sasha. "Y-you're alright, right?" That hadn't just happened. He was past this. s**t. Details whizzed through his head, and he took a moment to try to make sense of it all.

Cass watched Rep as he left the tent, sighing as she moved to follow after him, cautiously following along after his footprints to see where he'd gone off to. When she saw him sitting by himself she said nothing, just walking over to sit by him without a word, staring out into the sand.

CENTIPEDES?!
It was, apparently, more likely than Wash thought. The morning had begun in a fashion he considered sufficiently bleak and grim, and then they were assigned to some kind of Sahara outpost. It was there the infernal insects had come to make their stand.
It was, to say the least, disconcerting. Wash could only duck behind Sally and pray. He really hated bugs. Where was a can of RAID when you needed it?
Raid....is that what Justin is always going on about?
"Oh, Sally," he muttered under his breath. I don't think that's what he means.
And then the infighting. Wash smiled sadly, and approached Julie with a degree of respect and caution. "Miss, d'ya need help picking these back up?" He asked kindly, indicating the toppled supplies. Not waiting for a response, he started stacking things. It helped to keep his hands busy - he didn't want to resort to the kind of tension releasing that led to more messes like this one.

Nodding, Marcus motioned for them to head out. "I've still got my gear and everything and it looks like they're good here. so-" He smiled slightly. "I'm better at attacking s**t anyway." [exit]

Making sure that he had all his gear in check as well, Deryk glanced between the other two before nodding. He could do this. It was just a patrol. Nothing.. too bad. That was what he hoped at least.
And thus, he moved on to follow Marcus.

Thundercats GOOOOOOOO~.
Jude was ready as ever and he wandered out after making sure...Everyone was at most somewhat in one piece. There seemed to be an occasional hub bub going about here and there, he gave a really concerned glance to Jerry.
...Not much he could do.
Exiting the tent he uttered a bit of a sigh.

The Moon assistant seemed extremely crestfallen as both Rep and Harrison left the tent, seating herself on one of the closer vacant infirmary beds. At Wash's words, she gave him a nervous smile, wringing her hands together. "Oh, I- I hope I didn't say anything wrong, oh, maybe I should have-" She wistfully peered at where the others had gone before the question finally registered. "Oh yes, things to do, of course....."
A lightbulb seemed to go off in her head as she visible brightened. "I made these just for the mission today, can you hand one out to everybody?" She gave had already handed Wash a large jar of well-decorated cookies to distribute before he could say another word. "Now, one cookie for every person should do the trick!"OOC -Wash must now go around all the tents/ patrol areas and hand out cookies to trainees, one per trainee. None of them have really eaten anything since four hours ago, and food is food.... - Upon consuming, the cookies cause a temporary (24 OOC hours) status effect, one of general elevated happiness, similar to a milder form of joy. in general, the cookies invoke a sense of friendship, nostalgia, and possible the urge to do a lot of talking and hugging.

[Entering. OTL]
Things had happened so quickly that she found herself moving from one place to another within a matter of what felt to her like mere minutes; the centipedes that greeted them upon their arrival, for example, were take care of - but more quickly followed, which was why they retreated to the tents... Where Julie was. They were trapped with Julie. Who was being sort of responsible.
She wasn't sure how to feel about this.

Michael had clearly forgotten every warning Marcus had given him ever because when he heard someone mention cookies from his little corner he immediately piped up, "Cookies? Man I'm starving, pass one here?"

Molly found Bix and he was relieved to see she was okay. "Oh I'm fine. Just got a little winded. Also I hate bugs.. they suck." He tried to match her bright smile but he wasn't quite able when he saw Gale slip out without a word. It was reinforcing all his worries about how close some of them were to breaking. The fighting and detached singing was not a help. "Do you want to go on a patrol with us?" He motioned to Tedan and himself. "Oh Tedan, this is Molly in case you guys haven't met." Bix stood up and stretched, obvious now that he was standing that the Sun hunter was without injury. "Maybe we can grab a couple more." He watched as people slipped out. He felt a bit of an obligation to Jerry, his fellow sunny, and so he approached the other man and Sasha. " Jerry.. Sasha.. hey. Tedan and I.. and maybe Molly, are going on patrol. You guys want to come with? I think we could make a solid group?" Of course Jerry had been a space case lately. If he wasn't quite ready for it, that was alright too. Bix was hoping maybe to occupy the other man though. Maybe if he had something to do he wouldn't get lost in his head so much.

Molly just patted Bix’s head encouragingly and was indeed, relieved to see the Sun Hunter without injury. “ Patrol…?” She echoed, and looking around the tent for a moment. Yes, it looked like there wasn’t anyone else who was too seriously injured for now…so she felt it’d be alright to go. “ Alright! Count me in, please.” The Mist trainee waved to Tedan, offering him a smile as well. “ Yep! It was during an orientation a while ago.” When the offer was extended to Jerry and Sasha as well, she just kept on beaming and waited to see what their answer would be. This would be a rather solid group indeed. She agreed with that thought.

Wash's face became oddly blank. However, the weight of the cookie jar didn't lessen, so it was clear this was not some kind of odd dream. The kind looking young lady before him had in fact baked cookies for a very possibly life threatening mission. And, if he wasn't mistaken, this was his division leader's assistant. He wasn't sure if this should make him feel worse, or better. But...they DID smell delicious. He pulled one out and took a bite. The concerned frown he wore quickly melted into a expression of complete surprise. "Wow, these are fantastic! I didn't know anyone 'round here could bake like this!" Wash exclaimed around a mouthful of cookie. Suddenly in a much better mood, and not wanting to seem like he was hoarding them, he wandered away from Julie and to the other hunter who'd noticed the tasty confections. Was there a spring in his step? Quite possibly. Nothing could go wrong when they were armed with delicious, right? "Hey man, I don't think we've met! I'm Wash, and you know what? I feel like today's gonna be a-okay. God bless," he added, handing Michael a cookie from the jar. Glancing around, he then spotted Jerry and his merry band of ladies (how DID the guy manage all that?) and very nearly pranced over to them. Sally was silent, possibly supressing laughter. "Hey Jerry. You alright buddy? Hey Sasha, that's a real pretty name, little lady. Now, I think Julie made enough 'o these things for everyone twice over, so y'all have some breakfast. Or," he amended, glancing out the tent flap, "lunch." He offered out the jar. It reeked of baked goodness. Upon inspection, it was loaded with cookies. It was like a cornucopia, if it had been invented not by a greek god but by the cookie monster from Sesame Street.

[Entering]
Tori wasn't too sure to way the had entered into a battle field and at least having centipedes attack them was better than the last time, but she was still nervous about being here and trying really hard not to show it. She also really hoped that when anyone talked with her that she wouldn't start rambling random facts as that would be embarrassing and not to mention what she thought to make herself look bad.
Aklin suggested that she stick around here for a little until she had gotten herself calmed back down a little before heading out to do some patrol. Tori wasn't too sure what to think about Julie, but for now Tori thought she was alright.
