Connor sighed. "Yeah, food sounds good." He sounded a bit disapointed but maybe it was for the best. He was trying to follow his own rules of baby steps.
"Come on, I know a great resturaunt. The waitress there is a bit clumsy but.. She's still trying to cope with earth life.' He smiled.
He figured why not introduce Wally to the girl in his life at the moment and see if Wally connected the dots. It wasn't romantic at all, more like long lost family.

Wally tilted his head curiously, "Earth life?" He asked before he was dragged off. They got dressed and Wally allowed Connor to lead the way as he began to ponder who it could be--was it someone he knew or someone new?

Connor lead the way into a small dinner outside town nad knew which section he wanted.
He lead the way to the table and took a seat. It wasn't long until a really cute blond with blue eyes walked over. She lit up whe saw Connor.
'Connor!" She iinstantly gave him a hug that was so tight even Connor was groaning and gasping for air.
"Hey.. kara..." He groaned.
She finally pulled away still smiling. She looked at Wally, then at Connor then Wally then Connor.
"Is this?" She looked at Wally again and looked as if she might set him on fire but Connor reached up and touched her shoulder.
"Kara, it is.. And don't stare at him like that or you might zap him." Connor smiled nervously.
She stood up and crossed her arms.
"You wto are giving it another go then?"
Connor nodded. "Wally, you've met all my other family, this is my cosin Kara.."
She sighed and looked at Wally. "Nice to meet you.." She leaned in wanting to threaten him but decided against it and stepped back. "Well... You can take care of your own battles. I'm not gonna be mean to him, I swear." she smiled.

Wally blinked curiously at the blond girl but when Connor explained his eyes lit up, "Oh! I heard about you from Superman and Wonder Woman." He smiled and said, "Pleasure to meet you." He knew she probably wasn't that happy to know he was getting a second shot but...he was, and he wanted her to like him--to prove to everyone that he realized he was an idiot and was trying to fix it. Though really everyone else could go to hell so long as Connor knew, it was still better to try and make a good impression though.
"So you work here? How do you like it?" He asked, looking around. "It looks like a nice little place." He added, and it really was, it had a homie feel to it that Wally like--he could see how it could draw a boy like Superboy and especially Superman who liked anything that reminded him of Smallville.

She shrugged. "Uncle Clark eats here a lot and there are other Metas who work here so I don't feel like a freak." She smiled. "I like it. I'm up for evaluation for the titans too." She grinned wide. "I can't wait!" She was certainly a bubbley personality. "Oh that reminds me. Is ... Robin seeing anyone?" Kara bit her lip nervously.
"Uhhhh.." Connor blushed a bit. "I think your barking up the wrong tree cous.." He smiled at her. "Maybe he's not as ... You know, as I think is. I can find out."
She pouted. 'Everything you touch turns gay and I can't find a boyfriend at all in this town." He crossed her arms again. "Last guy I liked died."
Connor looked at Wally. "Jason.." He explained. 'She seems to have a thing for the Robin's." He joked.
"d**k is funny but too old for me." She shrugged.

Wally giggled when Kara said everything Connor touched turned gay and mumbled, "It's true." He hadn't thought he was gay until he met Connor. His laugh died though at the mention of Jason and he nodded. Jason's lost was a tradgedy and it was the factor that pushed Roy and d**k apart. Wally sighed at the memory of Roy leaving--he still spoke to the man but as soon as Lian was born he stopped pushing Roy to come back to d**k...it seemed pointless Roy loved that little girl more than life itself.
"Well, as for the titans I think you'd make a great addition." He said, smiling at her. "And a pretty girl like you, I'm sure you could get any guy you like. Try being a bit pushy, some guys like it." He said, thinking of Hawkgirl and Green Lantern. She was the pushiest woman alive and Green Lantern couldn't deny her if he tried.
"Just don't push them out a window or punch them too hard, " He said, rubbing his arm and remembering when Wonder Woman 'jokingly' punched him after he was mean to Connor...he had a busted arm for the rest of that day!

Kara smiled. "i can be pushy." She grinned.
'Yeah, you can be.' Connor teased her.
"Hey, not my fault your half human nad can't keep up.' She teased.
"You know, you do seem to have a thing for the Batfamily." He teased her back.
Her face got red. "I can't help it the enrire family is sexy as hell." She snipped. He pulled out her tablet and pencil. "So, what can I get for you guy's today?" She asked.
"My usual." Connor said.
Kara looked at Wally. "And you?" She wasn't going to hold anything against Wally his entire life. If Connor was taking Wally back and gave him a chance then so would she.

Wally perked when Kara turned to him and looked over the menu, "Uh, club sandwich with fries would be nice. Coke to drink please." He said, smiling at her. When she went off to put in their orders Wally smiled at Connor. "She's definitely a sweet heart, and definitely your cousin. You Kryptonians are always so charming." He said, smiling fondly at Connor before fiddling with his napkin.
"So...Besides me being a complete and utter a** and Tim trying to get your a** how's life been?" He asked, having nothing else to say. He could easily go on for hours with how much he loved connor but just saying it didn't mean anything, he had to show Connor he wanted to be with him forever. Wally hesitated a moment before placing his hand on the table, holding it palm up for Connor to take or reject. He wanted to told the man's hand but he still knew Connor held some sort of grudge, as was his right.

Connor shrugged. "Well, we got a newish girl at the Tower, Rose, or rather Ravenger. She's Slade's daughter. You remember the Slade s**t back with Robin and Roy?" He casually took Waly's hand in his. "She's totally nuts but not a bad chik to have on your side." He smiled. "Aside from gthat, just busness as usaual. My grandparents call me every weeks, dad comes to see me when he can. Kara and I are really close. I've gone to see d**k a few times. He has a new baby brother. well... Not a baby, the kid is 9 and super evil." He smirked.

Wally smiled when Connor took his hand and squeezed it in his before focusing on the man's words. "Slade's daughter? That freak had a kid?" Wally frowned but shrugged. He smiled as Connor said he was talking to his grandparents every week and Clark came to see him when he could. He was glad to see Connor's family was still working out well.
"Oh yea." Wally said when he mentioned the baby brother, "Damian is his name right? Little demon that one is." He said with a light laugh, "He doesn't like me much--wants to know what makes me tick or some nonsense like that. Whenever I try to explain the chemistry behind it he brushes me away as if I couldn't understand what I'm talking about." Wally smiled and said, "He thinks I'm stupid."

Connor laughed. 'He thinks everyone is stupid. That kid is the devil, but d**k adores him. It's just a shame that Bruce didn't know for sure that he was his son before..." Connor looked bothered. "Before he died.' He looked down. "d**k shut down for a while but thanks to Damian actually, he has his sense of humor back. " At the time they all asumed Bruce to be dead, but he wasn't.

Wally looked down at the mention of Bruce, he missed the man...he wasn't always the nicest in costume but he was a great man and always kind to them out of costume. "I miss him." Wally said with a sigh. He squeezed Connor's hand and said, "But d**k makes a pretty good Bats...less serious...though I know he'd rather be Nightwing." d**k had shown him the Nightwing costume, he was sad that d**k felt he had to give that up now that Bruce wasn't here.
"I'm hungry." Wally said with a forced smile, trying to lighten the mood.

Connor loved that Wally always tried to lighten things up. He smiled at the man. "Me too." He looked around for Kara ready to raz her abouty taking forever. He could hear a crash and kara apolegizing prusely. Connor laughed.
"She's such a ditz some times." He shook his head.

Wally smiled and looked towards the kitchen, "I hope she's okay." He rubbed Connor's fingers, admiring how they too had grown. Connor was no longer a young boy but a full grown man and Wally wanted nothing more than to take this new body on a test drive...Wally shook his head and looked up with a blush, he needed to quit that!Though he had grown his speedster libido had hardly diminished and with no partner he'd resorted to pleasing himself--a lot.
"I don't mind her being ditzy." He said after a long pause, no doubt Connor would catch it, and said "It just means I get to talk to you more I love this." He said with a smile. "I'm on call tomorrow which means I'm free unless the League calls me, if you're free we can see each other again." He really wanted to ask Connor to stay they night, he had lots of new movies and games that he wanted to play with the boy but he knew if he got Connor truly alone his control would fly out the window.

Connor looked over at Wally and looked nervous. "Well I was.. Kinda thinkin..." He bit his lip nervously. "i know we said.. Baby steps.. But you wonna hang at my place tonight?" He asked. He looked at Wally with longing. He missed him dearly and all the things Wally could do. Crap he had to stop thinking like that.
