Freya sighed in exasperation, and made a great fuss of pouting. "But it WORKS."
Still, she couldn't make the ghoul do something she didn't want to do. What COULD she do, then? Emily couldn't keep this up for much longer, she would certainly explode again.
"I guess.. yeh cans.. hide behind Herryk for a while? If yeh needs time teh calms down? Just.. yeh knows.. don't touch him or anything." Freya beamed up at the draugr proudly, and let out a dopey sigh. "He's mine."
... was he turning purple?
...Suddenly, the announcement was made, and Freya had to reluctantly let Emily go, kissing her on the forehead. "Good lucks! Stay safe! No dying! Always win!" She jumped into Herryk's arms, pressed her lips against his, and pulled back, licking them. He was starting to taste really good, and that was a little disturbing.
"Good luck, my baby boil." She whispered against his lips, before tumbling off of him and running away before the officiants could catch her and forcefully escort her off the field. She cackled every sandy step of the way.

WAVE 1: CRABS, CRABBBBBBBBBBBBS HP 40/40Scuttling right towards the team was an army of oversized crabs, their pincers waving menacingly. They were ready to destroy all things sand and castle related. CRAB DEFENSE MECHANICS: CRAB VERSUS THE CASTLEOdd = Offense Even = Defense THIS CRAB HAS 5 OFFENSE POINTS. (( First of all, don't forget to add the additional status from the Daily status effects to your sandcastle )) - This crab is trying to do 5 damage OFFENSIVELY against the sandcastle. That means you have to match your DEFENSIVE damage against this crab's defense. Subtract your defense against this crab's offense points. IF your sandcastle is higher, you take no damage! If it is lower, subtract the HP value from your castle's HP. One person must RP out their sandcastle standing against the crabs or taking damage, and edit the first post sandcastle's HP as necessary (at least, though various reaction posts while battling is fine) CRAB VERSUS THE CONTESTANTS- EVEN IF YOUR CASTLE STOPS THE CRABS, you still need to delegate them away from your castle, so they do not hurt YOU. There is nothing stopping it from hurting YOU. - Roll NORMALLY (no Fear charges), 2d6 -6 if you are a Y1, 2d8 - 6 if you are a Y2 to determine your damage AGAINST THE CRABS. Year 1's have 30 HP, Y's have 40. - The crab has a sum total of 40 HP. Every time you hit the crab, you take 5 damage. If your TEAM LEADER is KO'ed your group is disqualified! - You can hit the crab as many times as needed until it is dead. If your crab is not dead by the end of the OOC 24 hours/ one round, the crab will berserk and take out half your sandcastle's HP. - To attack the crab, once again, roll your attack, WRITE UP YOUR RP POST, and subtract 5 from your HP every time. Herryk watched Freya and Emily with a somewhat suspicious look on his face. Was JD famous or something? Herryk didn't understand. What he did understand, though, was how fine Freya's a** looked when she bounced away from him. Dat a**.Turning back to JD, Herryk gave the boil a warning look before he shot Mr. Monty a cold stare accompanied by a simple gesture. Only then did he swing around to peer at the rather large crab that was looming closer. And he punch it. In the toe. If crabs had toes. HP: 35/40 Damage: 4 Crab HP: 36

JD was completely confused. As much as he liked ghouls hugging, there was entirely too much cackling and giggles and talks of lies and...
And then Mr. Monty laughed, and he KNEW something was up.
Fortunately, the bird-ghoul in question trooped off merrily, and none too soon as a platoon of crabs fell upon their sandcastle like a...falling thing. However, the edifice to being shot through the vitals was simply too proud for their crabby, clicky, crawly shenanigans, and proved impervious.
Unfortunately, this meant that their attentions quickly turned to the team themselves. The sadly underdressed team.
JD growled and tried to stomp on the one nearest to him. It caught him on the shin as bits of it's shell flew away in a gross CRUNCH.
HP: 25/30

If you're havin' crotch problems I feel bad for you, son. I got 99 problems but a crab ain't one.
Except they WERE. A problem, that is.
Hopping around on his good leg, he tried to stomp another and instead fell comically into the sand.
Ewww, now he had sand crusted all over him.

Finally, in JD's wild fit of flailing, he managed to roll over and crunch another crab.
He groaned slightly as bits of crabshell dug into his spine. Misery.

Herryk watched Johnny Danger make a fool out of himself for a long while, idly dipping his toes in the moat. The now-enormous moat. When he tired of watching JD look like an idiot, Herryk strode forward with great purpose.

Picking himself off the ground, Herryk brushed the sand off of himself.
Well, he tried to. It was difficult, being slathered in butter and all.
He was so busy trying to get the butter off of himself that he missed a prime chance to attack.

Hauling himself to his feet once more, Herryk glared over his shoulder at Mr. Monty, just daring the feline to speak even one word. One. Word.
And then Herryk flung himself at the crab, socking it in one of its shins.
It was satisfying.

Herryk's previous punch had felt pretty good. He took aim, cocked back and rammed his fist forth once more.
Boo. Yah. The crab's exoskeleton caved inwards just a bit. Okay, it probably didn't cave in much at all considering the size of the thing. But it might've cracked. Just a little.

Zar had watched the chaos unfold with sinking terror, frozen on the spot as he watched the giant crab rampage across the sand. He wasn't a fighter really and it was only after a few long moments where he adjusted to the fact that yes, he was entirely tiny, that he actually managed to make himself move.
He ran forward to try and sink his claws under the carapace on a leg and through some miracle of luck, actually managed it. Probably because the other guys had softened it up for him first.

Of course that kind of luck wasn't to last, it was only a matter of time before he got sent flying by the crab as the creature shrugged him off effortlessly from its leg.
He glided a good distance instinctively on his wings before crashing in an undignified fashion in the sand.
