Rain decided it wouldn't hurt to work on the moat some. I didn't really look much like a moat when the wave got done with it but it was pretty easy to fix. Well, maybe easy for your average ghoul. Rain's moat was looking more like a square now instead of a circle. She'll have to let one of the others touch it up.

"Oh..fantastic." The wave washed over them and rammed right into their poor little castle. If there had been a table near by to flip, she definitely would have flipped the crap outta it. The only thing they could do at this point was to try and reassemble it. So far Rain was doing a pretty good job, and Wisp gave the ghoul a thumbs up.
Now this was something she could help with. It was pretty risk free and important. She began grabbing as much sand as she could and started patting it down, trying to make the castle as solid as possible. She wanted to show she wasn't totally useless through this, even if she had to just take a supporting role.

Her first attempt turned out pretty nicely, and Whisper figured why not keep trying? Maybe the more she added the better it would get? At least they weren't making it worse, so that was really good. It would have been mortifying if they wrecked the castle when they were trying to fix it.

The progress train just seemed to be chugga-lugging along with restoring their castle. Now hopefully they could keep this up, and face all their challenges with such vigour. Though one thing Whisper knew for sure was that not all challenges would be this easy. And if they were, what did that say about the clans?

Seeing Rain's somewhat awkward work on the moat, Mitzi went to help her. It didn't matter too much if it was round or square, but she helped the zombie with getting it plenty deep and wide, so that if any more crabs or other attackers came they'd have a rough time getting past it.

With the moat looking pretty sturdy, Mitzi decided to check the skull "entryway". Although the main shape was holding up well enough, the seaweed was drooping, causing the eyepatch sand dollar to fall down towards the ground. With some effort she climbed up on top, tightening the seaweed to make sure it would stay in place.

From her vantage point high up on the skull, Mitzi could get a better view of the castle to see what might need shoring up. She looked over it and noticed that the back part under the coconut had also gotten wet somehow - the moat most have flooded, and they hadn't seen it behind the castle. "Natalia, Imryn, there's more damage back here!"
She slid down the side of the skull and made her way around to the back, picking up several drier clumps of sand as she went. She used those to start supporting that side, the dry sand absorbing some of the water to strengthen the overly-wet sand that was already there.

First crabs and now water... though at least she wasn't feeling quite as tired as before, and the others seemed to have perked up a bit as well. Unfortunately, Imryn was at a bit of a loss as where to even start trying to do... well anything. Though when Mitzi mentioned there still being damage around back Imryn flew around to take a look, grabbing at the sand the best she could to try and repair a little bit, if nothing else.

Little by little, she was patching up a few spots here and there... not as much as she'd like though, curse these Jack damned claws. Sometimes they came in handy... and other times they were just a down right pain.

"Ok.. this crack here... and this one here. This side is done over here, and now on to the middle..." Imryn mumbled to herself while working from one side of the sand castle to the other, trying to make sure that every little crack was filled and packed down the best she could. Sometime during her panicing, she figured out that by lacing both of her hands together and making a little bowl with them it was much easier to carry larger amounts of sand. Which then made it easier to pack it down in bigger quantities and finish taking care of the back before more water came in.
"Alright, it looks good back here! Any others spots that need patching, or are we good now?" she called out before flying up and poking her head out from behind the sand castle.

THE KRAKEN'S HP: 105/131 ((OOC: BONUS MECHANICS: Mr. Starfish. Mr. Starfish has absorbed enough water and grown up to five times his size! +50 HP HEALED TO YOUR CASTLE, PLEASE APPLY BEFORE BOSS FIGHT. No sooner had they managed to get their Castle stable again, did an uproar come from the spectators group. Instinctively, Rain looked over to see what the fuss was and saw a giant tentacle in the air. It was huge, perhaps even bigger than the one she had seen during one of the school trips. She knew too well the devastation that such a creature could cause. It was a good thing that Mr. Starfish had grown huge because they were going to need all the protection they can get. "Mr. Starfish, you are the new King of Castle Fatal Femmes. We have been through some good times, you and I, heck, we all have," she paused briefly to wave at Whisper, Natalia, Imryn and Mitzi, for getting down on one knee. "We, the pretty bad asses of Fatal Femmes, hereby swear our allegiance to you. For the duration of this battle, we will be known as the Brotherhood of the Fat Star, and it will be an honor to live at, fight at and possibly die at your side. All for one! One for all! Now let's go kick some tentacle butt!" Rain pushed up from the ground and did a back flip twist so that she went from facing the castle to facing the creature coming their way.

Rain reacted without thinking. When the tentacle came down towards their sand castle, she jumped up as high as she could and latched on to it. It was slippery and moving so quickly that she couldn't get a good grip on it. However as she slid back down to the ground, her claws left a trail behind, though not deep enough to distract the giant creature from the castle.

When the tentacle came down again, Rain missed it all but completely, barely even grazing it. At least it seemed to have taken notice of her this time around as it didn't do as much damage to the castle this time as the last.

It was a strange dance, this battle. Every time the tentacle would come down, Rain would jump up and try to dig her claws into it. This time, she managed to hold on for several moments, and the weight of her body must have helped sway it away from the castle, at least to some degree as it barely hurt it this time. Rain, however, was now riding the tentacle as it thrashed back and forth.

The tentacle whipped back and forth, and Rain went flying into the sand below. While the tentacle hadn't so much as hurt the castle, Rain's had. She had slid to a stop just before colliding into it completely, so while it was dented, it still stood.
