I'm just your average American high school student (in 10th grade next year), but junior year I'm moving to Japan by myself. And I'll probably stay there permanently.

mitsuki_shi I am Japanese, was born in Japan and raised there but I been travel around. I'ved lived in the US for about 4 years now (First two year on a student exchange program, and now I live by myself.) and I often go to Japan to visit my family(I try to visit at least 6 times a year)I'm out of highschool now, so I applied to a few colleges here (Mainly BYU) and if I don't get accepted than I'm going back to Japan and enrolling in a university there.
3nodding i am like you but i went back here! people have voted they are from there and live there, i wish i can meet them, all japanese i know from america

Seems like everyone wishes they were Japanese... .. Sure they are pretty and their culture is...AMAZING... .. but I support originality.. IF EVERYONE was Japanese.. there would be nothing special...

Wow. Everyone sounds so interesting. I've never been out of America, I've only moved from Maui to Utah recently, and I'm not Japanese at all (In fact, I'm basically a mut. I'm a mixture of a bunch of crap that I can't even remember, but I think I'm a little more portugese than anything else). Currently, my dream in life is to at least visit Japan. I would sell my soul on ebay. Just. To go to. Japan. At least for one day D:
And here, I see people have been to amazing places like Germany, Canada, (and of course, Japan xP) you name it. I wish I could go to place like that, but I somehow feel afraid and intimidated in the big world, having been born and raised on a small island.
Once again. Wow. crying surprised

アメリカ人です。 3nodding I would love to go to Japan mostly, but I would also like to go other places. I've only been out of the states once and according to my parents that doesn't count cause we were never that far from the boarder and we were only in Canada for a few hours.

日本人じゃねよ.實わ, フィリピン人とメクシコ人で
However, I would like to visit the land someday, when I have the time, and finances to truly explore and appreciate the country. At first, I wanted to move there to become a Voice Actor, and maybe even find love. But times have changed, and I've gained too many wonderful friends (and one special person I call my beloved <3) here in the states to permanently move there , so I'm now weighing other options; like being a Japanese teacher, or being a Psychologist to the people there, and in America.
Seeing as my teaching style seems to stick in the minds of the people I teach, and I thoroughly enjoy it, I'm begining to lean towards teacher, polishing off my Psych degree in my older years. Maybe, should conditions permit such, I'll move to Japan for a little while, or get a summer home there, to help get away from the hustle and bustle of America. But judging by the current state of things, I'd seriously doubt it. But hey, you never know what can happen in the span of a few years...
