Lei jerked her head in the direction of the deer and slowed down and looked to him knowing he had the same thought as her about the deer. She sent a thought to him ("I'll go low you go high").

got it he sent back to her. walking quitly towards one of the deer he waited for the signal to strike.

Lei crept up on the deer silently seeing that it was a large buck. She lowered herself keeping out of sight of the rather large animal. She looked to him and nooded right before making her move toward the deer quickly tripping the large animal grabbing onto it's leg with her sharp teeth.

jumping on to the deers back he grabbed it by the back of its neck and started shaking his head about trying to break its neck. a few seconds later he heard a crack of a vertibra snapping.

Lei released her grip on the animal as it fell and lay limp on the ground. It seemed as if the two wolves made a great hunting pair. It hadn't taken long at all for them to take the large animal down. Lei tore into the animal quickly eating at the parts she liked and leaving plenty of room for him to join her in the meal. The pack would love the left overs for dinner perhaps a nice deer roast Lei had plenty of recipes in mind for the left overs. The pack would not hunger today.

walking around to the side of the animal weiryn ripped out the things throat and ate it. looking at her he he gave her a wolfy grin. that was fun he thought to her

She grinned back at him some of her breakfast still on her face and thought the samething back to him. Hmm maybe we should drag the rest of this back to the garage and then continue our patrol.

alright. I am for ithe thought in response to her idea to drag the deers body back and continue their patrol. squriming under the deer he picked it up and was ready to head out.

Lei grinned at him admiring his strength and lead the way back to the cabin and to the garage where they would string the deer up.

walking back to the house he followed lei to the garage. and put the deer down.the second he did he shifted back to his human form

Caitlyn woke up the next day still feeling cranky from being woken up so many times. She got up and went over to pet the still sleeping tiger. Then she went into her closet and picked out an outfit to wear for the day. She then quickly changed out of her sleep wardrobe into her outfit for the day. Walking to the door, she gave the tiger one last pat before heading downstairs.
As she walked into the kitchen she caught a whiff of some type of animal meat. She drooled slightly at the scent and walked toward it to find Lei and Weiryn dragging a large buck into the garage. "Well I'll be damned..." she muttered. Caitlyn raised her eyebrows, clearly impressed. "Nice job guys" she said simply, smiling slightly. Then she returned into the kitchen, grabbed an apple and bottle of water then went back to her bedroom.

Lei looked toward Caitlyn and said "Thanks" with a large grin on her face and then helped hang up the deer. After she headed backoutside and changed to her wolf form once again. Time to get this patrol on the road. She stretched out and then started the long run around the border which was her land.

following at a run Weiryn shifted. a minute later he had caught up and was keeping pace with her.

Lei was happy that he wasn't slow, and that he seemed to be quite intelligent but she wished that he had more to say. She looked to him and then sent him the thoughts "So what's your story?"
