(A barrel roll in your next post would be helpful... xd )

Soldiers and fodder alight hissed and spit in the holy flames issuing from Alewar. A glow came from the mirror Krayth held as the earth beneath their feet trembled and shook. "I know she's dead, ShadowLord," a voice of pure venom called out. "That's why I've sent you my pet." His manic laughter could be heard as the flames from Alewar raced for Krayth unbidden. Just beyond the flames a towering shadow marched to where people fought for their lives. "I hope you enjoy him as he rends apart all you vermin!"

Krayth didn't have time to respond. As he turned his eyes witnessed the unfurling blaze of white above them, descending towards the plague army, Adellos and himself with divine fury. Without pause Krayth released his grip on the reins of Sephra's corpse, letting her fall the the ichor-soaked sand as he seized a fistful of Adellos' coat. Before the Were-Jackal could snarl, they were gone into the writhing mass of shaded limbs below-

-and emerging from the very back of the Plague Army's dwindling lines. As Liliana's righteous Megid crashed into the world, shaking the dunes and deafening the front with its fury, The Void Lord and The New Lord stood together as black silhouettes. Adellos' feral eyes gazed up at the approaching behemoth, fearless. Krayth raised Beyruun to his face, glimpsing into the mirror at the swirling visage beyond. His own figure was pitch black in the presence of the blinding white that ravaged the lines behind him.

"I'm not dead, Vincent..." Beyruun hissed in Sephra's pleading voice, speaking for its sibling as Krayth stared cold and still into the mirror's edge. "I am waiting for you... They will bring you to me... After they have broken you."

Krayth remained silent, alert and ready as his companion was to face the monstrosity lumbering towards their position. He glanced into the mirror once more before he drew the black knife out to rest at his side and marked his foe.

Shadow Step
RANK: D - 90 Energy (Bright; One Passenger)

The first true power a Dark Avenger attains from its pact with the Dark Plane is also one of their most versatile. Having shunned Light from their lives, a Dark Avenger may pass freely between the Material Plane and the Shadow World by simply stepping into a shadow or dark area. While using Shadow Step, a Dark Avenger travels great distances, and has the ability to take others, willing or otherwise, along for the ride by maintaining physical contact with them. Past a single passenger, every additional traveler costs an additional 50 energy, as does taking a creature against their will. Beings of higher rank than the Dark Avenger cannot be taken against their will via Shadow Step. Shadow step may only be used once per post.

Soul Mark
RANK E - 10 Energy (Post 1 / 2)
Skill Type: Active
By focusing on a creature that he/she can sense in the area for 2 posts, a Dark Avenger can mark their soul, enabling the Dark Avenger to track them with ease. Once a soul is marked, a Dark Avenger can see it through walls and sense its location over great distances. By the rank of Master, a Dark Avenger needs only focus on their Mark for one post to see it anywhere on Rykros. This skill requires no energy. Only one Soul Mark is permitted at any given time, and Marking another soul while a Mark is currently active replaces the old mark with the new.

As pure, scintillating white rained down to purge the dunes of plague Telara swept back into the shadows of the causeway. Uskarr and the wilders were not far behind; their lines swiftly receding back towards the tunnel's mouth to avoid the fallout of the Elementalist's fury. A few fell to chasing blows as they turned to avoid the megid, but none were consumed by its fire. The Ranger's dire hawk was swift to flight, ducking expertly between the descending wave of fireballs as frontlines were obliterated by Liliana's holy fire.

When it was over, all that remained of the front was ash. The slope of the grand dune now glistened as a warped plane of glass, sweeping down from the mouth of the causeway and towards the impending battle of the two Lords beyond...

As her attack came to an end, the wilders roared out in unison. They charged back out into the beating morning sun to eradicate what remained of the lesser plagued forces.

Liliana's shoulder slammed into the now glass hill she had propelled herself into when Krayth vanished. Liliana scrambled, her shoulder down in pain now as she shifted her staff to her other hand, to join Krayth and Adellos where they stood. Her eyes and mind searched out towards the behemoth that was approaching. "It's got energy but... There's nothing there," she whimpered. She hated mindless opponents. It was hard to track their attacks without a mind to read.

Gerdane arrived with his wilders, each bellowing names in ancient tongues and thrusting their spears upwards towards the blood red sunrise. "WE WATER OUR LANDS WITH YOUR BLOOD!" The wilders howled together as they circumvented the Pet of the Plague to engage the remnants of the Plague Army with Uskarr, Telara and the tribes. Gerdane did not follow. He stood still as the chains of his self-control snapped one by one.

The Hidden Causeway was no longer hidden. Where once was sand to cover the way there was now broken planes of glass. Blood, charred limbs and putrid flesh were all embedded within the Causeway's glittering approach. Glittering red from the light of the sun and contrasted against the black that now billowed into the sky, the defaced carvings of the Blood Barons looked down upon the slaughter with their disfigured expressions of hate and arrogance. The fate of the city beneath the sands was uncertain, but the scene above and around the Causeway was a true depiction of Apocalypse. The stink of burning meat, death, sickness, disease and rot was so thick that it was all that could be smelled.

As Gerdane screamed into the sanguine heavens, he ripped the clothes from his body and slashed his mutating claws into his chest. His voice twisted in his throat and lungs just as his flesh and bone did, and the naked bloodthirsty barbarian warped from man to beast even as he charged the back of Vincent's Pet. Beyond, he could see Krayth and Adellos. They stood united -all of the tribes united- and in that moment Gerdane realized that, through all the fragments of The Tribes' history that remained, never once had they all been so unified. His screams grew louder the closer he got, bounding on all fours as sand and blood both kicked back beneath his Jackal paws. "I FEAST ON YOUR PLAGUE!" Was the only coherent phrase, swallowed amidst the bedlam of battle as Gerdane leapt into the air and into the Pet's back with force enough to stagger it.

"See the glass in the sand? Go there, help the tribes! I must help the wounded!" Kerrark called to Cordelia as he dashed onwards, charting a course around the Pet to reach where the front lines once had been, and only ash and glass remained.

Bow to the Fallen Seraphiel

Strength: 8
Speed: 8

Neither agreeing, or disagreeing, she gave her wings a large beat, kicking up the sand to a few feet away.
Instantly, the fallen took off like a shot, eyes honing in on the plagued soldiers with sheer fury and determination.

Skimming the ground with only a few feet between, she looked like a white blur across the bloody, broken ground. Tribes standing shoulder to shoulder with one another, fighting with unity for the sake of there homes. It gave her inspiration, understanding of the people and why she felt like she had to protect them. This could potentially be there last stand, it would be hers as well, if this was the case.
Deafening silence filled the air, for what seemed like eternity, as the fallen flew into the chaos..tribes-people gawked, most showing fear, for the last they saw a fallen, they had lost many of there people.
Would they attack her as well? She cared not...only hoped to prove, that not all fallen are bad.
Wings fanning out in front of her as if to stop, the sand whipped out from beneath the fallen. At the sudden change of pace.,the Plagued soldiers in closest radius received a blast of sand , covering them from head to toe.
The first three where killed in under a few seconds...great-sword being brandished left to right, the plagued soldiers cleaved from hip to shoulder, shoulder to hip.
Not even getting the chance to defend themselves, not the chance to surrender and beg for there lives.

She was a warrior to the core, the blood and mayhem awakening the true fury of the ancient fallen race. "YOU WILL ALL FALL BEFORE MY BLADE!" She cried, leaning back and kicking a solider in the chest..feeling it crunch beneath her shoe, as the plagued soldier was cast away, knocking down it's compatriots.
Grabbing the hilt with two hands, she swung the blade over her shoulder, going deeper and deeper into battle.

Cain fought his way through, half of the soldiers following him. He catches up to Lili and Krayth. He had re-acquired his cannon, thrown away during the initial battle. Now he had the means to cause major damage. He checks the next round and readies it. He looks at the monster approaching them.

"Nothing is there....then it must be a programmed plague beast like the rest of the grunts, its only bigger."

Cain moved forward.

"Tactics are on our side. Krayth, Adellos, run main assault. I will give you ranged support. Lili, can you conjure up something that can light this thing up like a bloody candle?"

Pet of the Plague

Rank: S

Str/Spd: 15/6

The flames from Alewar's attack died out, revealing the monstrous beast to the battle-weary rulers. It gave its targets no words, only the hellish roar as it barreled towards them. A fist rose high in the air, descending down to impact the earth itself. It felt the blow to its back and fell into its attack, hoping to throw the wilder from its back. A crack deep in the ground formed, allowing sand to drain away. This made a 50 foot radius of dangerous ground, encompassing its powerful opponents by 10 feet.

Earthbreaker
Rank A
A powerful slam/punch attack that can cause fissures to open in the ground beneath such a strike. Very dangerous in sandy areas.

The Void Lord and Adellos both leapt backwards as the mindless titan's fist came barreling down to the dunes. While the sand showered them all in stinging waves it caused no injury. The Anima's eyes watched as Gerdane was catapulted from the Pet's back and into the dispersing grains around their foe. As Gerdane scrambled up the sliding side of a sand-filled fissure, Krayth watched without moving beyond the rim of the sinking stretch of the desert before him, keeping Beyruun still at his side. They were both strangely quiet as the Anima stared up at Vincent's Pet, and Adellos bounded to catch Gerdane by the arm and began to pull him back towards the surface.

"It has no soul," Krayth spoke aloud, to everyone and no one in particular. He saw nothing. He marked nothing. "We shall tear it down," was the solution Beyruun suggested. The Black Knife's tip was angled directly towards the beast, even though it was not striking in that moment. Krayth's eyes watched the sinking sands around them, gauging the distance between himself and his target. He moved then, without a word, dashing around the sunken area to close the gap between the Pet and his punishment... his eyes never leaving the beast, anticipating and hungry for the stupid creature to strike.

"There is only evil in action,

Lady Liliana of Ernya, Sage Elementalist

Liliana didn't think on the ground would be the best of plans, since there would be no surviving a direct hit from that creature. As the sands beneath her started to slip away into the fissure, black threads crafted of the night itself wove their way around her body. With a thought, they burst open to reveal gossamer wings that let her take to the sky. As she looked down on the creature, her soul burned with the unhampered fires of creation. Blazing pillars of white-hot flame roared to life beneath the beast.

"Your life is not your own."

During the chaos, a pair of grey eyes looked upon the battlefield from below, scanning over the battle lines and analyzing a best point of entry. It seemed Liliana and Krayth had already engaged some sort of beast as he saw a massive crack in the earth happen and the younger Anima quickly realized that an earthly entry would not be such a great prospect at a time like this. Edge chuckled inwardly as he saw his master's incorporeal form fly above the monstrosity.

To the rest of the world, it would seem like a black hole opened up in the middle of the air as the Voidsworn ended his shadow step a few feet above the creature. Through it flew Kinetav, his eyes already ablaze with the blood red sign that was his new signal of imminent death or destruction of an opponent. Falling fast upon his new found prey, the Anima's eyes widened for a second as he realized that there was no soul he could sense from the beast.

With a final grinding of his teeth, the Anima silently rotated the daggers of Edge in his hands, both of the razor sharp weapons pointed towards the creature's back as he literally fell into the heart of battle.

Tombz was nice and high up watching the fight. He'd picked them up with Sensing Chi and was trying to figure out who was who based on how bright each creature was, as well as how big. He picked up a mage right off the bat, having the most energy of all. He figured the widest spread signature was a monster, but wasn't sure. He used the zoom scope to finish spying. He was right to guess Lili was a participant. And a few others he didn't know. But he did know their foe, a mass of rotting looking flesh needed to be taken care of. He fired the GL-423 at the monster, hoping for a direct hit. he thought to himself.

As one anima rushed across the sands towards it, another dropped from the sky while fires roared to life underneath. The beast roared in pain for the magically conjured flames surrounding it as it reached out to catch the falling anima to use as a weapon against the rushing one. It's movement, though slow, was enough to make the laser shot miss by but a hand width. With the smoke of burning bodies starting to clear out, the sun was gaining ground, illuminating more of the battlefield.
