"Alright!" Kiah grinned from ear to ear, glad that he thought it sounded fun while confident in her ability to beat him with a mile to spare. She followed Lavi and Thunder through the path without looking back, knowing that she'd be coming back to that clearing in the near future for when she needed a quiet place to think. Once she'd cleared the woods to the main road, she positioned an eager Daisy right next to Thunder, giving the mare an encouraging pat.
"You know the way back in case I get too far ahead, right?" she teasingly asked, smirking in his direction. She put on a determined expression and held the reins at the ready, as anxious as her horse to get going. Looking to Lavi, she nodded her head to show she was raring to go. "Okay, on 'three'... One.... Two.... Three!" Kiah quickly urged Daisy on the second she ended the count, getting a slight head start in their race.

Mizaka's giggle forced a smile to Soma's face and he let it linger. The pair's feet guided them towards the park. It seemed the evening grew more pleasant the longer it went. In the rear of his mind, he still felt eyes boring into his back. Being enveloped in a city environment, the idea was unshakable. He had half a thought to turn around, checking for anything conspicuous, but disregarded it.
"Lovely is right. The possibility of rain had become a concern and I did the ungentlemanly thing and rushed out without an umbrella." he stated with a hint of disappointment in himself.
