A look of absolute amazement crossed Shade's face. It was shocking how both the girls seemed eager to flaunt their power. The first to put on a brilliant display was the other girl with icy blue eyes. That feature seemed to stand out on her the most, besides the strong scent of blood. After the book she had thrown thudded to the floor, Shade had all her attention oh her. She noticed the girl obtain a knife and start to bring it towards her flesh. The sight of that caused Shade's stomach to flip in excitement. Blood was such a sick turn on for her. Once the girls finger was pricked, she watched the liquid rubies splatter against the desk and start to take form of something. It looked almost unreal to see blood take on an almost solid form.
"Insects? What a strange shape to take..." Shade muttered to herself and watched as the creature buzzed around her head for a little while. Once it returned to its master, the tall brunette smirked. Now she was curious to see if her blood could ever be stirred by magic. She was guessing not, since she didnt even know what to call the light green acid that flowed though her veins.
Next up was Eliza. The adorable look on the girls face as she started to concentrate on the awoken rodent was priceless and she just sat there smirking.
"Terror, huh? In that case, can you bend emotions?" She questioned then watched in awe as the mouse started to wildly thrash around then drop still.
"Impressive..." She said softly and stared at the dead mammal. Shade was about to start laughing until the sudden pounce of the teacher made her jump. She watched the lady cradle the dying rodent and she shook her head slowly. What really got Shade going was the fact a book suddenly moved on its own and gave Eliza a good whack over the head just after the teacher started to panic. Man, this was the best class she had ever been in. No work, all play. As Eliza ran to the front of the room to try and ease the situation, Shade glanced over at icy eyes and cocked an eyebrow. She was about to try and start a conversation with the girl she didnt know yet, but once more even this one got distracted with the mouse. Instead of crying over it though, she somehow managed to revive it. In turn, that gave Shade a good first impression of this chick. She was tough.
A moment later, things seemed to be calming down... Until a man suddenly came into existence near the center of the class. He was tied up and... Well, not to happy it looked. When Shade heard the statement of using this man as a test subject, a sick, twisted smile cracked across her face. Her hopes were suddenly crushed though as Icy eyes forbid it. Damn... This was so much amusement she was loving every second of. She figured if she kept her head low, they wouldn't ask her to preform magic. That was her goal after all, to be a spectator.

Shade crossed her arms and cocked an eyebrow at the teacher. Was she for real!? Just when she thought she would get away with not being able to participate, the teacher has to notice her. With a light huff, Shade stood up. Her height towering over the teacher (I'm assuming from your characters picture that shes tiny.) The tall brunette gazed down, her eyes looking rather intimidating.
"Fine, you caught me, I cant use magic." Shade nibbled on her bottom lip in thought, "I dont think I could ever learn... I'm a human." Now that was a huge lie. Of course Shade wasnt human, but she couldnt just go around telling everyone she was some mutated freak. When the teacher mentioned something about a ritual, Shade hesitated slightly. She didnt dabble in the supernatural stuff, it worried her that it might screw up her genetic make up even more. Cant argue with a teacher though, I'll get my a** thrown out of class again.
"What do you want me to do...Exactly?" Shade said with a slight aggravated pitch. With the closeness between her and the teacher, Anko could now see Shade up close. She had a pale white complexion and deep emerald eyes that seemed to look like a serpents. Her body was carved and tight with just the right muscles along her arms, legs and torso. What seemed to look like a tattoo on her right shoulder now stood out to be made of some sort of scaly material. It was much more shiny than a regular tattoo but one had to look very closely in order to spot this. Another thing that could be noticed if someone tried would be the temperature around this girls body. She was freezing cold, almost like she was cold blooded. Shade pulled her lips into a scowl and noticed how the teacher wasnt even making eye contact now. There were so many reasons that could be, and Shade didnt seem to pleased. She didnt think she was intimidating enough to scare off a teacher... or was she?

Shade was curious now. Opening of the soul, huh? That sounded pretty painful actually. While she was thinking of the answer, and being a smart a** by purposely ignoring the teacher for a second, Shade glanced over at the other two students talking amongst each other. She didnt know what the big fuss over the cop was, but it was slightly relieving having a male outta the room. Eventually, Shade turned her focus back on the spunky teacher and smirked. A perverted smirk was actually what it seemed like.
"So tell me...Miss..." The cocky brunette quickly glanced at the blackboard where most teachers placed their name, "Anko. What exactly do you plan on doing to my body for this whole ritual? Because if it involves blood, well..." Shade trailed off and decided to end her rant there. She raised an eyebrow in anticipation. Magic was never an option to her, but if the teacher insisted enough...She might as well play along.
