(oddly enough same here. I could see him with kits by a random vixen. )


Raust listened and blinked. “So females like to break up fights? Maybe that ‘s why Pan and Moon agreed about her. They usually fight a lot.” He closed his eyes feeling strangely happy. If a female had made Nothland do something that Northland later regretted the Raust thought he might actually have an issue with another fox. It was rare for him to think of another fox with darkness but those who hurt Northland would find themselves in such parts of his thoughts.

(You could have him do so but umm Norhtland would have to explain to explain to Raust that Mates don’t normally go off and have kits with other foxes. >///< Raust would accept it as normal and ask Northland every time he came back if there were more members to the family not knowing that’s not really a nice question even if there is no malice behind it.. The sad part is he’d be all excited to see Northland babies even if they aren’t with him. He’d only take issue if Northland had kits with another male.)

When Northland started to talk about females causing fights the contentment he had been having dissipated a bit. He was just getting used to the idea that they broke them up. So females were complicated things. It was worse than Raust’s initial understanding of it all was. Leaning into the nuzzling he was surprised at Northland’s question. “We could look, but I don’t think we would find him. Moon goes away for lots of days at a time when he and Pan fought in the past. He comes back still all mad latter.”

“It sounds like a headache.” Raust didn’t really want to go and meet a bunch of foxes but if North suggested it then it must be alright. “I won’t mind though if I can go with you. Can we meet some nice vixens though? I don’t think I’d like to meet any mean foxes.” His tail twitched.

He nudged his mate. “That’s alright Northland. I’m certain I’ll get it in time. I don’t think you’re bad at explaining things. I just don’t have anything to compare it to.” Raust figured he should meet a female or two that way he could understand a bit better without having Northland struggle to explain things to him. “I can always ask Pan or Moon to introduce me to Flora.”

“Ok then I think I can ask Moon or Pan and have them introduce me to a few females. This way you don’t have to do all the work.” Raust wasn’t sure he wanted to meet any aggressive vixens so he shouldn’t meet any vixen’s with kits. He kept that thought to himself though. His tail wagged as he laid with Northland.

So vixen’s with kits were aggressive but glowing? It just made no sense to Raust so he stopped trying to figure it out. So far all he could figure out about females was that they were more complex then he wanted to really deal with. He shivered when Northland licked his ear and all thoughts of vixens left his head.

Raust’s ear folded back automatically when he was being nibble on it felt so strange he shook his head not sure if he liked or dislike the sensation he did like when Northland nibbled on his neck though. Odd he thought he’d be more scared if something had teeth by his neck, but this was Nothland he was safe with him.

After a moment Raust’s ear flipped forward again and he looked at Northland confused when his mate stopped giving him affection. “Northland are you alright?” He nosed Northland softly huffing into the fur on Northland’s neck. It wasn’t like North to just stop things without having a reason.
