Kettil and Endzela obviously had no complaint about this situation. After traveling and carrying baggage around they were glad for the downtime. Kettil was especially happy to just be next to Freya.
The boil would find himself dozing now and again when the silences lapsed on too long but that was just simply because he was that comfortable around her.

The day had waned on. Eventually they'd managed to crawl out from the couch, and decided a walk was in order, where sure enough, Freya showed Kettil every single corner of the Reaper dorms.
It wasn't a very interesting walk.
Freya let Kettil head to the cafeteria to snag them all some food, while she returned to her dorm. She called Herryk, concerned about whether he would be offended if she let Kettil stay the night. After many promises and quite a few gooey and affectionate soothes, Freya had hopefully convinced him that he had nothing to worry about. She couldn't tell for sure.
The rest of the night found the two of them under several heavy blankets, eating greasy jollymeals on the couch while bad movies played on her skelevision. There may even have been some popcorn involved, but the wreckage of food in front of them refused to be specific about what, exactly, they'd just ate. There was a little voice in the back of her head that hoped they had kept Mac awake all night with the sound of their laughter, and she'd laughed twice as loudly all night because of it.
But the night was bound to end, and at some unjackly hour of the morning they finally fell asleep. Freya had meant to get in her bed at some point, but she had curled herself up like a cocoon in so many blankets, that it had been too easy to doze off and fall asleep on the floor just like that.
So when she woke up, she should not have been surprised to be coughing up owl feathers.
The pumpkin sun was glaring menacingly from her window, shining right into her eyes. Beside her face, there was an owl butt. Endzela had curled herself into a tight ball, and found Freya's hair a very suitable nesting spot for sleeping.
Freya coughed up another owl feather, and groaned, covering her face with her blankets. She was normally an early riser, but on only a few hours of sleep.. even she was a grouch.

He couldn't honestly have thought of a better way to have spent his day and evening than with Freya. Kettil was asleep on the couch as he had dozed off at some point he couldn't remember when he just knew that it was pretty damn late when it happened and he didn't regret it at all. Rolling about on the soft furs of the couch he moved to sit up some of the blankets shifting and falling away from him as he peered blearily where Freya coughed and apparently had an Endzela taking up residence in her hair.
"Not very nice," he said in a voice that was full of grogginess still. Endy only peered up at him and then nestled down a bit further like the brat she was.
Kettil sighed deeply as he got up and tried to very carefully make his way around Freya so he could get to the restroom. Jack did his bladder feel full.
Maybe after he relieved himself he'd flop back over on the couch and sleep more. That seemed glorious.

When Freya woke up again, Kettil was gone. Freya carefully plucked Endzela out of her hair, carried her over to the couch, and sunk down into it. She curled back up into the blankets, and dozed off again. She kept the owl in her arms, and shoved her face into the pillow Kettil had used to sleep on. Then she pulled her face away and pinched her nose up.
Ew. Drool.

When he was done in the restroom he wandered out and stared at as she took over his pillow and his owl (but he was expecting that). His hands rested against his waste as he just stared in amusement. Good thing he wasn't really all that tired anymore. When she pulled away and her nose pinched up a bit he gave an amused laugh, "Guess we should get ready for the day, huh? Gonna go see if I can catch me a Lark at the play."

Freya looked up at Kettil, her eyes blinking several times to focus, before she groaned at the idea of getting up. "Too sleepies." She complained in a whine, and her arm shot out from under the blankets, snagging his wrist in a vicelike grip and pulling him back down to the couch. "Shut up and cuddles for a while. We gets up later." The groggy voice was coming out from under all her blankets, because it was too cold and bright outside of them.

Suddenly there was a hand on his wrist and then he was down on the couch again with Freya and Endzela. Endzela seemed all for the plan of cuddling because she stayed put and didn't even open her eyes this entire time. Once he settled in again he moved and lightly wrapped arms around Freya, "Poor sleepy Freya," he cooed at her somewhat teasingly.
He didn't mind cuddling in fact he felt that he was pretty good at it.
Kettil closed his eyes again but was determined to not fall asleep.

Freya mumbled something into her blankets that sounded like she was just repeating him. "Yes, poor sleepy Freya." She curled up in a ball around him and within an moment, she was snoring.
But it didn't last long.
With a start, Freya jolted back awake, lifting her head to look up at Kettil, nose to nose. Her hand rose and she smacked his cheek lazily, before unwrapping herself and sitting up like a zombie. In fact, she gurlged much like a zombie as well.
"Uuuuugh. Okays. I'm up." Her hair stuck out every which way, braid half unraveled. She looked like a foxfire after being rubbed by a balloon. She stretched her arms up in the air and yawned. "What times is it.." Her stomach growled, telling her it was FOOD TIME.

He felt her jolt up against him and that made him open his eyes again, Kettil had dozed lazily along side his friend and now he was awake again and he was being lazily smacked and all he could do was laugh as he tilted his head away, "I umm....wait..." Kettil lazily struggled a bit to free himself from Freya and the couch flopping to the floor and doing a bit of a crawl to his baggage where his Eyephone was currently hidden away.
"It is...about....Ten O'clock." He said as he blearily stared at the readout on the front.
..It was actually One O'Clock.

"TEN AAAAAAUGH TOO EARLY." She groaned, flopping back down on the couch and throwing the blankets over her head. "Whyyyy." The whine muffled out, before she finally, slowly, went quiet again..
Yes, she was threatening to fall back asleep. Good luck with this one, Kettil.

He looked away from his eyephone and over at Freya laughing a bit and then he stared back down at his phone read out and suddenly it wasn't Ten O'clock. There was a pause, "Oops. It's actually One o'clock," he announced. Way to go eyes. Way. To. Go.
"Um...Do you know when the play starts?" He asked with a rather oddly pitched tone.

There was a solid beat of silence after he'd corrected himself.
And then another.
And then Freya bolted up from the couch, her feet on the floor spread wide apart before the blankets even had time to fall from her body. They slid off as she stared at him wildly.
"AHHHHHHHH IS LATE!" She squealed, turning around and bounding OVER the couch to start throwing her clothes up in the air, searching for an outfit. "I was supposed teh meets Lattice at the Maul in half an hours!!" She didn't actually know when the play started, but she knew it was soon, as well. "I'm not goings teh has time to do ANYTHING!" She screeched, grabbing the first dress she could find and bowling into the bathroom to go change.

Kettil blinked and Endzela let out a small sudden sound of distress when Freya was suddenly bounding in action. The owl hopped away to a safer corner of the couch and just watch the activity while Kettil tilted his head, "Awww, I am sorry, I guess I really did get in the way of stuff," he laughed rubbing the back of his neck feeling a bit guilty.
Thankfully he didn't leave right away as he just went through his bags and things to make sure everything was still in order before he moved to sit on the couch again. He didn't want to text Lark yet to let her know he was coming to surprise her. Instead he used his eyephone to check what time the play would start. Thankfully it would be a short while away still.

Five minutes later, Freya had performed a miracle. She had dressed, combed her hair into a tight braid, put on her makeup, and she burst out of the bathroom door wearing one shoe, hopping over to stand behind the couch.
Kettil was just sitting there, on the couch, his hair still looking like bedhead, and she groaned in dismay. "Yeh can't meets up with Lark like that, come ons now Hooter!" She reached over and pushed his shoulders back on the couch, before fussing with his hair.
It felt.. weird.
She just focused on smushing down all of the flyaways, and fluffing the dreads from the inside out.

"She's seen me in worse!" He protested a little bit but he didn't struggle as she suddenly pushed him back a bit and then started to fuss with his hair and he stared at her quietly with a small smile. He couldn't help it. It felt nice!
He sighed a bit, "I mean it isn't like we're going on a date, right?"
One didn't date their childhood friend that just got weird.
