Nikolas cried out in pain as he was struck in the back. He stumbled slightly before the tendrils wrapped around him, Nik struggled to get free, dropping the axe. He saw Dorien lunging for the weapon, and merely smirked as the weapon seemed to move on it's own.
The demon in the weapon form let out a laugh, which echoed only within Nikolas' and Dorien's minds.
"Only the son of Wrath can wield me!" It swung itself, stabbing into Dorien's side before moving away and cutting Nikolas free. Nik grabbed the handle and swung again at Dorien.

A little boy, around the age of 5, was inside one of the many hidden rooms the castle had. He was always told to stay in his room, though he never understood why. Opening the door, just a smidge, he peeked out into the hallway curiously. The boy heard voices, once voice belonged to his father while the other he did not recognize. Wanting to find the source of this voice, the child stepped out of the room and closed the door before wandering the hallways, his necklace jingled a little. The pendant bore a the letters "VH" upon it.

*From an upstairs chamber Shevre spoke quietly with one of the many queens... The castle was host to several human slaves... It was an honor to be sent inside... As Zaleska informed Shevre of the fate of vlads son, a human slave approach and announced "There appears to be a fight taking place outfront between a group of strangers... shall we dispatch them?", Zaleska looked to Shevre and asked in Romanian "De ce se intimpla?" *Shevre replied embarressed* There seems to be a quarrel... I may be forced to get involved... Will you permit this? .... *In romanian she replied yes, and Shevre headed for the enterace*

* Keys laughed *~He thinks he's had it rough???? My parents were killed by angels, we are no pure species. My siblings are my children to me, I have raised them to be better than our ancestors. We choose to fight for what we find to be right, and not what we are told is right. Now, how do we kill the axe demon?~* Keys turns to Ty,and brings him up to speed on the situation *~Use your lightning, that should be easier to fight him with than fire.~* Ty smiles, almost evilly, but with a hint of the teenage love of showing off *One set of thunder armour blades, coming up!* Niryia starts to looked worried at the anger displayed between Dorien and Nikolas, perhaps her friends could help. She closes her eyes, as if meditating *

"Of course you wouldn't understand...Nikolas was tortured, tormented for being born the son of an angel and demon. You've never felt what its like to have everyone, even your own parents hate you for what you are. His father only wants him for his power and his mother wants him dead."
Adrian watched Dorien and Nikolas.
"The only thing I understand is...what its like not having your parents around when you really need them, so do you. Yet I show more sympathy because I'm not some heartless person. And I doubt you can destroy the scythe..."
Constantine had left the others alone, searching the area closer to the castle. He seemed to be searching for something. He swore he had sensed a child within the castle the last time him and Shade tried to get here.
Shade was still struggling with the ice. She seemed about ready to give up. No, she needed help, but Dorien wasn't listening to her. He really did change a lot since she last saw him. Shade watched, startled when the axe seemed to move on its own and stab Dorien. "Dorien!!"

The little boy was standing at the entrance, hearing really loud noises outside. He didn't know if he should open the door or not. The boy wanted to know what was going on but was scared to find out if it was something really bad. He heard footsteps and turned around. Was it the source of the new voice from earlier? The child sat down on the floor in front of the door, as if waiting. He liked to make new friends, if this person was friendly.

Adrian only watched, deciding not to help for it seemed useless to get her to understand now. She crossed her arms, figuring she would jump in if things began to really get a lot worse.

"Well yeah I know how to calm down Nikolas, but you need to calm you friend down first so I know nothing bad will happen."
Adrian reached into her pocket and took out a necklace with an oddly shaped cross with elaborate designs on it. Something was written in Old Norse on the back of it. She began to wrap the chain of the necklace around her hand.
"Calm your friend down first..."

Very well. Niry, are they here?* She looks to her sister, then to the sky. Soon, a black clouds surrounds Dorien, made of dragonflies and beetles and wasps *Don't try escaping Dorien, these guys won't play nice. If you want to get out of here alive, I ask that you calm down please. Don't make me ensnare you.* Niry, glad her friends showed up, starts sprouting vines, one of which blossoms with a red flower *

*Dorien stopped moving. The cut in his side sending tendrils of pain throughout his body. He reached for the wound, feeling the free flowing blood. Dorien sealed the wound with a gout of fire from his hand. He then tasted his own blood, relishing the flavor. He then spoke out telepathically to Keys* ""Release me woman! I am not done with this weakling! He must die, and that demon ax he has must be mine!""

"Don't even TRY wielding what other people cannot wield. The scythe is bound to Nikolas and his biological father. Even if you kill Nikolas, you will never get it.'
Adrian put her hands together and closed her eyes. She seemed to be whispering a silent prayer, but in Old Norse. She kept her hands together, holding onto the cross tightly.
Shade watched Adrian confused. Was she crazy?! Was she really praying?

Nikolas stepped back, seeing the insects. His eyes narrowed and he was about to attack, but winced, dropping the axe. He fell to his knees, his eyes returning to their normal sapphire blue color as he held his head, getting a little dizzy. "I-I'm calm...I'm calm..." The boy shook his head as the axe dissolved into the ground, disappearing back to where it came from.His wings disappeared, turning back into the tattoo on his back.

You will not kill him, and that axe will not be yours!! You are not going to die here, and that demon would have made sure of it if you had continued. Now, calm yourself, and get a grip for a moment, and next time you call me woman, I'll let my kids have fun with you. Be lucky Niry didn't use her sleeping blast. Now..* turning to Nikolas *Are you going to give in? Or will we have to restrain you as well?

*The noises got louder and audible anger could be heard as Shevre decended the stairs. A young boy sat at the entrance... The likelyhood that it was only "a boy" was small, rather being in the castle he likely possesed some incredible story or power. The child seemed interested in the commotion outside. Shevre looked at him and spoke "Stay behind me" he manuvered around the child and opened the door... Shards of ice and bits of scorched earth showed that the bickering had been intense but everyone seemed to be in one piece. He addressed Nikolas who was breathing quite heavily* You sir... *Then turning to shade and Dorien* Friends... What is going on here? Is my assistance needed?
