Eager to try once more and hopefully beat her own personal best Zurine decided to take another turn, this time for some reason - which dosen't make much sense really - she decided to try a new song and as a result did not do nearly as well as she had on her previous try. on the other hand she had fun trying the new song so as she stepped off her score was all but forgotten really and she was beaming anyways.

Frustrated, Legs gave the machine an annoyed kick before trying for the last time. The pair of lower limbs learned that kicking the machine only made it harder to score better.

It was just one of those days that Edel decided that she needed a walk around town. Her previous visit to the maul left her less-than-comfortable with the unrestrained amount of spending – thanks and no thanks to Vieve. She was, however, starting to get used to casual wear in the not-so-freezing climate of Halloween Town though the shorter than usual dresses still needed some time for getting used to. The outfit was picked out from some of those ghouly magazines recommended to her by some over-eager maul staff – well, it couldn't go that wrong right?
Shopping bags in hand, the ghoul was on her way back to the campus when she noticed an unusually large crowd gathering at the scarcade. Edel had never been in one before, and she didn't know why either. The flashing lights, loud noises and rows and rows of FUN AND EXCITING games. It was no wonder that the frost demon was immediately drawn in to watch.
The first thing she noticed when she entered made her blush a little. Moure dancing it out on the DDD machine ... The ghoul stood at the back of the crowd but she could still see the patchwork boil clearly. He looked really cooooolll. Swooning? Was she swooning? Yah I think so.
The ghoul brought her hand over her mouth as if to wipe that indecent smile on her face. She took a moment to look away and compose herself a little before she weaved through the crowd to greet him. “ Hello!” she greeted, giving a cute little awkward wave to compensate for how her voice was being drowned out by the loud scarcade noises. Cupping her hand over her mouth she continued, “I saw you up there, you were really good!”.

Moure was still trying to figure out what he'd need to do to get better at that game when he turned around to look at see if anyone else was waiting for a turn. His eyes immediately lit up when he saw Edel, and his mouth moved up into a broad grin as he waved back. "Edel! What's up? I wasn't expecting to see you here. Did you come to try out the DDD machines too?" He asked happily. Any time with Edel spent with Edel was a good time, at least to Moure.
When she mentioned his dancing, if he hadn't been undead his face would've been blushing quite a bit. Even so, it colored slightly, a shade of pink under his stitched up face. He reached up to scratch the back of his head, his expression a mixture of embarassment and amusement all at the same time. "I, uh, er, yeah... Not my best attempt on DDD. Did you really think I was good?"
Moure then realized that there were two machines open. He gestured to them, his grin returning. "Hey, do you want to try? It's pretty fun. I can show you how, if you've never tried it out." He motioned that she could place her bags on the floor if she wanted, and then stepped up onto the dance platform. He stepped on the panels to make the song choices rotate. The patchwork didn't know if Edel had experience with the machine, but he figured he might as well explain anyway. "First you pick a song like this..." He went with the song he'd attempted last time, hoping he'd be able to do better on it this time around.
"And then you press the panel that goes with each arrow when it hits that top line." Moure said, his song starting. Okay, now he really couldn't mess this up. Not with Edel there.
He did much better this time through. (This may have been because Edel was watching, actually.) He grinned to Edel when his round was over, happy he didn't fail in front of her.Attempt #: 1 (Second Day Attempting, First Try of the Day) Minisite name: Trira Total Score: 30 + 3 = 33

The frost demon nodded and added with a laugh, “Of course you were!” Moure was just being modest as always.
Edel's face lit up with an expression that pretty much read ooooh YES at the patchwork boil's suggestion. A dance machine, how curious! The ghoul quickly set her bags down beside the machine and stepped up onto the platform next to Moure. The frost demon watched attentively as the patchwork boil began to show her how to operate the DDD machine, her eyes flitting from the platform arrows to the screen. Come to think of it, it was always him that was teaching her these sort of things. Edel wouldn't know how to repay such kind patience he had with her – well, except to enjoy the experience.
Holding onto the railing, Edel gave Moure some space as he started to dance, grinning as she watched the words “perfect!” burst into the screen. The frost demon was incredibly impressed with how the patchwork boil was able to keep up with such a quick tempo. Then again, it was probably second nature to the runner in him.
Edel clapped for Moure's performance once he was done, grinning widely. Bringing up her hand to tuck her wavy blue hair behind her ear, the ghoul turned towards her screen before looking back at Moure. “I-I guess I'll give it a shot?”
Following Moure's example, the ghoul stepped on the arrow keys to navigate through the list of songs. Something easy .... but not too easy. The ghoul was feeling a little confident about this – she did after all, have some dance background. Not quite the DDD type, but latin ballroom did have its fair share of fast steps. Scrolling to this song, Edel paused and let the preview play, tapping her foot to gauge the beat. Alright, she could do this!
Hitting the arrow key to confirm the song choice, the ghoul gave a quick look to her side before focusing her attention on the screen. Edel may have panicked a little with the first few arrows but she started to get a hang of things – hey, this was fun! The machine deemed her performance satisfactory but that was not what was on her mind. ANOTHER! She was already hooked onto the game and was dying for another round.

Scrolling through the list, the ghoul decided she was game enough for a faster song. Edel didn't pause to listen to the song preview of “Butterfly” before selecting it. It was an innocuous enough name for a song... right?
Too bad the ghoul was feeling a little ticklish today (or perhaps it was because she was in the presence of a certain patchwork boil) , as soon as the song dove into the chorus Edel was reduced to a fit of giggles at the strange, strange lyrics. It caused her to miss a few keys and break some combos but she enjoyed it nonetheless.
Clearing her throat and fanning herself as the song ended, the ghoul cast Moure an abashed and slightly mischievous look. Biting down on her lip to suppress the indecent grin, Edel raised one finger to gesture that she would indulge herself in one more round. She might have been oblivious to how embarrassingly badly she had just performed, but for the ghoul there was only Must...Play...More...

Alright, Alright. That was quite enough. The ghoul was starting to feel a little fatigued and dizzy from the flashing lights and quick dance steps and it was obvious from her declining performance. Edel finally surrendered and stepped off the platform to let the others have a shot to play, moving to Moure's side.
