Vic looked up and stuck his tongue out at Mic. "At least I don't have grass sticking to me like you've got." Moving a little closer to the edge of his hole, the male crouched down and jumped, barely making it over the edge. Straightening up, Vic shook himself off and smiled at his mate. "Dinner sounds fantastic."

Mic pouted as he looked at his mate, "I do not have grass in my fur..." He looked down at himself, spotting the said grass. But he chose to ignore it's existence completely. "Pfft." he made a sound and shook out his fur. And when that didn't work, he rolled on the ground, around and around and around he went. But even then some grass still clung to him.
"Gah! It's super grass....it won't get off...get it off....get it off..." Mic circled his own tail trying to get at it.

Victorino laughed at Mical's antics. It was only grass. The male moved closer to his mate to stop him from making himself, and Victorino dizzy. "If you'd hold still I'll help." Making sure that Mical wasn't going to make any sudden movements, Victorino leaned down and gripped the 'super grass' with his teeth and pulled.

Mical froze as he looked at hims mate, "This is evil, evil grass. Did you see the way that it clung to me....it's trying to smother me." He pouted his lower lip. Finally when it was off he jumped away from the super grass, shuddering. "That was horrible."
"I think I deserve a big kiss for being a brave boy." He grinned.

Victorino laughed. "Because being a brave boy means running around yelling for someone to get it off." Nevertheless, Vic leaned in and nuzzeled his mate before giving hima kiss on the side of his face. "Now how about the brave boy helping to find dinner and a place to stay before it gets too dark?"

"Yes...I do believe that is the definition of being a brave boy." Mic winked at his mate, then beamed as he received his kiss for being brave. Puffing out his chest, the male started walking away from the area they were digging, heading into the forest.
"Let us go fish. I could use the cool water right now."

Victorino rolled his eyes. "I'd hate to hear the definition of a wuss then." Smiling, the brightly colored male fell in step with his mate. He gave a wishful sigh. "I suppose we'd have to wait to get washed up after we finish digging for the night." After all, if they got fully wet while catching fish, or even washing up, digging would turn the dirt into mud, which would be harder to get off.

"Oh trust me you do not want to hear my definition for wuss...Hm mm..." Mic shook his head, then bust up laughing at the look on his mate's face, "You should see you face love." He chuckled, licking the side of Vic's cheek.
"We'll go after rabbits since we don't want to make mud...especially after we've been working so hard to dig those nice holes."

Victorino flicked his tail at his mate as if in annoyance, but was smiling as well. "At least I wasn't the one running around because a piece of grass refused to fall off."
Victorino started looking around for signs of possible rabbit habitats or tracks. Or any small creature really would work. Maybe they'd have a feast once the den was completed. "Aha!" There. On the left. In the soft dirt. "This way."

"What...the grass was attacking me." Mic pouted as he looked at the evil grass in question. But then he noticed that his mate was walking off and he blinked, "Hey...where are you...Oh tracks." He smiled, "My my....you're quite the little tracker aren't you?"
He chuckled as he crouched lower to the ground, following the trail with fierce intensity. He was starving, so he wanted to find the biggest, plumpest rabbit he could find.

Victorino grinned, blushing a little. "I learned from the best." He fell silent, falling in beside, but a little behind his mate. He found the tracks. He'd let Mical take the lead. The other fox was excited about their den. Why not let him have a little fun while they were working?

Mic grinned an hour late when they were both laying on the ground, munching on their respective rabbits. It had been easy between the two of them hunting. The rabbits had no chance in hell at escaping. Moaning at the flavor, Mical devoured it until it was nothing but bones.
"Ahhh...digging holes is exhausting...and it makes me hungry." He winked at his mate, "In more ways then one."

Victorino chuckled and tossed a bone at Mical. "Sorry buster. You're going to have to wait to satisfy that hunger." Victorino chewed some more of his dinner before quirking an eyebrow at the remains in front of his mate. "And I'd say we'd have to hurry if that kind of hunger is as great as your hunger for meat." With that, Vic finished off the rest of his dinner and stood up.

Mical grinned lecherously at his mate, "I would suggest digging very fast, lest my baser nature take control and I force myself on you." He winked at his mate playfully as he walked over and licked his cheek. "Come on....it would be best to take a small walk before going back to digging. We've had a full meal and don't want to cause ourselves to barf it back up." He smiled as he looked over at the forest, "And it is such a lovely time to see the scenery. Very romantic."

"Ah, but my dear Mic, it is you who needs to dig faster. After all, the plans for our new home are in your head." He pulled a face at the thought of bringing up their dinner again. Okay, so his mate had a point. He hummed softly to himself at the thought of Mical trying to have his way with him. It would be interesting to see what Mical would try, just as it would be interesting to see what happened once they finished the house.
Vic sighed. "Alright, as long as its a small one." After all, they had a lifetime to see how romantic the area was.
