Zeke Redgrave  Zeke smiled as his new best friend glomped him from behind. "I slept alright. How about you?" He asked her. Normally, he wasn't such a fan of waking up in the morning, since he was always tired, but having a bed and a roof over his head made things better for the thief. Plus, the excitement for tonight's festival had him wide awake. He hadn't been to one in so long, and he knew that he and Kumiko would have a good time tonight, especially since he would be helping the girl have a taste of what a normal life is like.

"For the first time, it was hard to sleep, but I am feeling fine. I cannot wait till tonight."Her tail sways behind her and her ears flickered cutely. She felt so blessed to have such a wonderful friend like Zeke. She led the way to the kitchen, for breakfast. "I cannot wait to see it all, the stars, moon, grass... all of it!"You could tell she was excited and she couldn't help but to smile. She felt like a child, excited for an a major event. Kumiko stopped in the kitchen and asked, "What would you like for breakfast, Zeke?"The Unicorn woman looked up at him with her ears up and in good spirit. She didn't seem so dull, sad or gloomy any more. ☀`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´♕`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´☀

Zeke Redgrave Zeke smiled warmly as Kumiko took his hand in hers, and chuckled a bit when she showed off her excitement. "I can't wait either. It's gonna be so much fun." He said. As they entered the kitchen, the theif couldn't help but adore the happiness radiating off of the princess. "Surprise me." He told her. He was so happy to see her come out of the gloomy vibe Roy brought to her. Her excitement glowed off of her and made her even more beautiful. Zeke couldn't help but admire the princess for being so kind, despite the life she lived. He hadn't been here long, but he seemed to be a bit infatuated with her. He was sure it was just a harmless crush, since he knew she would find a prince who would treat her right....at some point.

Setting it on the stove, she grabbed some eggs, cracked them and started making some scrambled eggs. She was humming happily and as the eggs cooked, Kumiko looked in the fridge for some ham and got two large slices out. She placed them in the pan, moving the eggs over so the ham slices could cook. Kumiko had given up hope on finding a prince that would be so kind to her. She didn't want to be apart of royalty any longer. Kumiko wanted to be able to do things herself, without help from servants or maids. She wanted to have her own home and find true love. Thinking of love, Kumiko was very happy with Zeke. She considered herself lucky to be protected by Zeke. He was so kind, gentle, helpful, smart and... wait, what was she thinking? He wouldn't want to be hatched to her pampered butt. She sighed a bit and finished making the food. Kumiko sets Zekes breakfast down in front of him as she sets hers across from him, with just eggs. She wasn't big on eating meat. Sitting down she said, "I hope it's enough. I don't really eat meat, but I'm sure you do."Kumiko started eating her scrambled eggs and looked around. ☀`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´♕`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´☀ ((That last part made me giggle))

Zeke Redgrave Zeke smiled as he began eating. Kumiko was an excellent cook. Another great quality in his friend. The theif continued to enjoy his meal, still excited for tonight. After that nasty business with Roy, he and Kumiko needed something good to replace the bad vibes. The bodyguard was glad that he would help his new best friend make her dream of seeing the outside world a reality. She had to be annoyed with all the nonsense she got from being a princess, so he was glad to help her take a small break.
