Diyanna Surana From the Fade I strike, To harm or to heal...
"Rob... I.. I don't think I'm ready to talk about it with everyone just yet," she said softly, biting her lower lip. It had suffered so much of that abuse recently that it cracked, bleeding a little. "Everyone in Denerim knew, so everyone in Denerim nis talking about it. For the love of the Maker, it happened just this morning," she said.
She looked over at the table, seeing the arrival of the shrouded dwarf. Judgng by the lack of responce from her dog it wasn't Aeducan. "Oh no, no trouble today, Maker please..."

Like a bat out of hell or a nug out of Orzammar, nay, it was more like a mage bolting through the wilderness with four templars hot on her heels. "RUN!!!!!!!" Ivaria panicked, sweatier and stinkier than Alistair's socks, she hastily continued towards Lothering. Moments later an arrow zipped past her head, only narrowly missing her ear. "s**t!" she winced, "alright, enough is enough, I'm getting out of here now." As Ivaria came into a clearing she immediately came to a halt. Taking a quick moment to compose herself, Ivaria took a deep breath in. A pale blue aura encircled her, letting off a faint light. Slowly, almost unnoticeable at first she began the transformation, her bones twisting and cracking as they moved to reform her figure. She had done this before so her discomfort was minimal. Finally, on all fours, her tail burst from her spine and her body was enrobed in soft and shiny grey fur. Nearly as soon as her wolf form had finished the templars filed into the clearing, precisely when she tore up the ground in front of her and took off into the woods.
Her pursuers scrambled to track her, however they had much difficulty. A wolf was much stealthier than a human and the mage covered her tracks by hurdling through the trees and changing directions frequently. After only a short time had passed she no longer heard the knights behind her. Ivaria's improved senses picked up on a familiar scent. "Aeducan. Its been a while." The wolf thought slyly, "and a horse too..." She snickered silently. Timing it correctly, Ivaria launched out of the woods and turned her head to see the horse flailing in fright. She calmly stared, almost intimidatingly.

"Before you embark on a journey of revenge..." Sighing, Bheldren jerked his head up when his steed halted suddenly, taking a quick step back, and throwing its head. His eyes widened and as the grey wolf shot from the trees, his horse reared up on its hind legs, whinnying in fright. The dwarf held tight to the reigns but the second the horse fell back on all fours, Bheldren was thrown. The curse on his tongue didn't leave his lips before he hit the ground on his back, the wolf at his head. The wind was knocked from him and he stared wide eyed up at the sky. It had happened again...his eyes narrowed as he sat up, getting to his feet. As he turned, his hand reached up and took the axe from his back. His blue eyes were suddenly icy, and glaring daggers at the strangely calm wolf. "I'm going to skin you for that." He commented. "Do you have any idea how long it took me to get on that horse? Not once but twice?" Why was he even talking to it? The wolf had still not moved. He lifted his axe, ready to strike. The fur ball was truly ill if it was not going to move. In that case, might as well put it out of its misery... "...Dig two graves."

Ivaria stared deeply into the dwarf's eyes intensely and without movement. Her eyes gleamed like the snow on a full moon's night. She only wished a wolf could chuckle, perhaps to scare him a little more. Slowly, the mage once again took human form and pointed at the dwarf on the ground and burst out into a roaring laughter. {{ooc: Like Shigure when he finds out Tohru is living in a tent.}} "If I were you I wouldn't go threatening a wolf that you'll skin them. My instincts were pushing me to rip apart you're throat and a dwarf on the ground is easy prey."She said, a look of disgust on her face when she realized she was standing downwind from Bheldren. "Oh maker, have you been drinking ale all morning? You smell worse than bloody Tapster's!"
Suddenly halting their conversation dead in its tracks, Ivaria heard the sound of templars not too far off in the distance. "We must go, there is a company of four Templars tracking me and they are headed this way."

"Before you embark on a journey of revenge..." "Easy prey? Ha!" He slid his axe back in place. "You're dreaming mage." Bheldren arched a thick brow up at her at her comments about his drinking. "Mage, if your week had been like mine, you would be drinking all morning as well." He turned back to the horse and stared at it. He glanced towards the forest then at Amell. He could hear them just as she could. "We are not going anywhere until you help me up on that beast." Then he paused and pointed at her, eyes narrowing, "Don't tell the others." Reaching the reigns, he took hold and waited. The saddle was so high up for him to reach. The mage took the reigns, then commanded the horse on its knees. It stayed, and listened to her. Bheldren grumbled under his breath about that. Amell was behind him and hoisted with all her might. He laughed at her groan of effort.
On the saddle, Bheldren looked at Amell and waved his hand in front of his nose. "By the stone, what have you been rolling in mage?" He asked, faking a gagging noise, "You smell worse then a Bronto in musk!"
"...Dig two graves."

'' ..Are you the Wardens ? ''"Oh I don't know. What do you think?" Elsa wasn't one for cracking jokes but she didn't feel the Carta deserved honesty.
She attempted to see if there was anyone else but she couldn't find them. Spotting stealthed characters wasn't exactly her strong point.''I'm not here for trouble. I'm here to discuss... a business proposal.''The cloaked Dwarf took the liberty of sitting on one of the empty chairs. Elsa frowned but didn't ask him to leave.
"What proposal?" She knew her axe was next to her leg. All she had to do was grab it but she didn't want to cause a scene in this Human tavern.

Rob nodded, "Fair enough." He pulled a handkerchief from his vest pocket, wiping the blood from her lip, "I know this isn't bleeding bad, but keep pressure on it. Lips are hard to stop bleeding." As he finished his statement, he raised his hand to his brow, covering his face, "Ignore that. I keep forgetting I'm not tending to villagers."
Hearing the cloaked dwarf speak, he kept a hand on the light crossbow at his hip, "Andraste's voluptuous rump, not now." He watched the man's, or what he assumed to be man, actions closely, ready to fire if things went south. Elsa don't listen to him. They wanted you dead...' He thought to himself.
"I'm no hero, so don't make me out to be one."

''You lot are quite infamous, y'know that? I can't take a few steps without hearing that you wannabe Wardens had some kind of impact. Now I know you all also had influence on our current King.''He grinned wickedly as he said the sentence."The nobles are cracking down hard on him I hear. And I heard from a little bird that he used to have a warden dame as his girlfriend before he dumped her. Of course you and I know he did this as not to lose face to his audience. So here's the thing; we could exploit this little issue. But we'll be nice and keep it to ourselves if you deal with some dirty work.""You can't say a thing. King Alistair will have your head." Elsa growled. The Dwarf looked at her with an evil glint in his eye."Oh no doubt he'd be mad. But his subjects will feel the same. It won't look so good for a Human king to have a... sordid reputation. And surely just lowering that pretty axe of yours into some necks won't be a big deal for you?"Who says you'll leave us alone afterwards?" The Dwarf smiled after she asked the question. Damned Carta. If only she didn't care for the others so that she could go into a blood frenzy and slaughter them all. But it would risk the lives of everyone in the tavern. But what to do? Throw Diyanna into public humiliation? She would never allow that.
There had to be some way to take out the Carta assassins hiding in the shadows without involving the inn.

Moving both her palms to the hilts of her daggers, seated by her hips, she nodded to the outside of the tavern.
'' We'll talk about this outside. Now. '' '' The old that is strong does not wither, For you see, deep roots are not touched by frost. ''

Diyanna Surana From the Fade I strike, To harm or to heal...
Diyanna turned away from the table, her face flushed brightly with embarrassment. She heard what the dwarf had said, and it hurt. And it made her feel full of shame again. As if the last two years of her life, and the only love affair she'd ever had, was something sordid. The look on her face was almost agony.
"How dare he...?" she whispered, her heart aching.

Robert Cousland
Rob had had quite enough of the Carta dwarf. He hated Alistair, for stealing Diyanna's heart then smashing it to pieces, but he knew Alistair was a generally good man, and had so far been a good king. He stepped away from Diyanna, his eyes filled with the same fire that had shown itself when Howe'd betrayed his family as he made his way to the table. He set a hand on Rhyn's shoulder to ease her. "You sir seem to forget, we wardens, much like angry wolves, travel in packs. You hurt one, the whole rises to meet your challenge. And by the smell of it, your mangy pack isn't far. How about we take this outside? I rather wish to show you what this wolf's fangs will do to your hide for offending one of my kin. These are my family, and I will not stand idly by as you inflict one injustice after another." He bared his teeth at the dwarf as he scowled, the Cousland family blood shining through. "Outside, now. Or my Dalish companion and I snipe every one of your men, whom I'm sure she has spotted and marked by now." He sneered at the man, "Never let a bard open his mouth."
"I'm no hero, so don't make me out to be one."

"Better hold your breath then Bheldren." Amell chuckled before pushing the horse into a full gallop. The templars were getting closer and surely they would hear the horse. The only question left was whether or not they would be able to escape. They had traveled for only twelve minutes and thirty-two seconds, before Bheldren's gagging noises and teary eyed pleas to switch spots sent Ivaria's nerves skyrocketing. The mage, grumbling nearly silent curses, halted the horse and took the spot behind the dwarf. "It has been a while since the group has been back together, I hope we find them well." Turning her head to avoid the booze polluted air, the two continued on towards Lothering. At this rate, they would arrive in no time.

"Before you embark on a journey of revenge..." Bheldren prayed to the Ancestors that he would not have to endure the mage's stench much longer, and his prayers were answered, with the help of his uncharacteristic whining. He just couldn't stand it any longer. "I advise you take a very long bath when we reach our destination." He sniped, "You'll kill the villagers with that stench of yours." His stomach was lurching with each gallop the beast took under them. He groaned under his breath. How he loathed horses... "Any reason in particular those Templars were chasing you?" He asked, glancing up over his shoulder at her. "Or were you just in the wrong place at the wrong time...like usual?" They were fast approaching Lothering as the sun was dipping below the horizon. He too wondered about their companions. He was curious about what they had been up to. As the time passed, he gave a sigh of relief seeing the lit lanterns of the little village in the distance.
He snatched the reigns from the mage and slowed the beast for his own sake. It eased into a casual trot, tossing it's head back and to the side, snorting. "Aye, you beast of burden. 'Tis almost over and we will be rid of each other in no time." He spoke to the horse. On the outskirts of the village, she stopped the horse and threw his leg over the side. He dropped down with a heavy thud and rolled his shoulders. Oh it felt so good to be free...Bheldren started walking, not caring if Amell continued to ride the creature. For a few paces he walked a bit bow legged then straightened his cramping legs. Throwing his nose up, the dwarf strut forward with all the confidence in the world. No doubt their companions were waiting at the Tavern, and so was a lot of ale... Bheldren glanced around at all the reconstruction while they headed for the Tavern. He was slightly impressed at the progress.
"...Dig two graves."

"Finally, we've reached Lothering." Ivaria sighed, relieved the templars would be far behind them and most likely wouldn't find her. Once again, the mage found herself laughing at the dwarf's expense. The bow legged man hobbled down the path for a few moments and then straightened up. As the two entered the town, both of them received glares of disgust and many of the villagers turned their noses and ran just from the stench that came with them. "What do you get when you cross the stench of a drunken man with ripe female body odor?" Ivaria asked Bheldren quietly."If I had to put coin on it, I'd say a cheap, filthy brothel." Ivaria scowled at him and stuck up her nose. "Well you're no fun!" Bheldren arched a thick brow and looked into her eyes slyly. "How would you know, you've never had the pleasure of trying." "You sick b*****d! Ugh I even pictured it for a second!" The dwarf simply winked at her and the two carried on towards the tavern. Hopefully she would be able to get cleaned up and into new robes immediately.{{ooc: Mistress and I live together so we tend to post together, which is why we also control each others characters at times.}}
