Yuki nodded slightly and tried picking the flower. She winced slightly and pulled her hand back, looking down at the small dots of blood on her finger tips. "I didn't see that it had thorns..." she said quietly. A soft blue glow emitted from her hand and the wounds healed over. Yuki rubbed her fingers in small circles on her temple as if to focus before picking the flower. This time, careful of the thorns, it was much easier. She held the flower up to the moon to get a different point of view of the petals. The crimson petals turned gold, then black. That's when a spark of dark electricity jumped from the petals to Yuki, searing through her body. At the same time, the flower burst into flames and burnt her hand as it turned to ashes. Yuki fell backwards, unconscious, still somehow holding the other flowers in her other arm.

A creepy laugh was heard at the edge of the flower field. A shadowy figure was standing by the line of trees with a black cloak on and the hood up, only revealing a pale smirk in the moonlight. With a snap of his fingers, the flower field caught on fire. It created a large circle around Kageru and Yuki, the ring of flames and sporadic black lightning bolts was nearly twenty feet thick and growing.

Tenmei nodded her thanks to Sho, smiling. "Thank you. I'll be sure to return them quickly. I'm a fast reader~" she said, almost proudly. "And I'll be sure to find you something in return for your kindness of the books."

"The Majestic Flower Hunter," the figure said with a laugh. He didn't bother stick around and sank back into the shadows, disappearing from sight. The flames and lightning only continued to grow, slowly closing in on Kageru and Yuki while at the same time devastating the flower field.

Yuki whimpered lightly as Kageru took off, shifting slightly. Her usual icy skin was actually a more reasonable temperature, but it was unclear if it was because of the wild fire or not. The fire itself continued raging, almost consuming the entire flower field at this point with a thick ring of fire.

Tenmei tilted her head slightly at Sho, raising an eyebrow. "Yes Prince Sho?"

The fire ring was just getting closer, leaving Kageru and Yuki a circle that had a ten feet radius, but even that was slowly diminishing. Yuki whimpered again in her unconscious state, her right hand (which she used to pick up the red flower) was burnt. However, she still seemed to be holding onto her bouquet of flowers. In the bouquet was the snow flowers she came here for. The snow flowers started to glow brightly, a pure white glow. Yuki's white hair seemed to glow as well as her body temperature started to drop again to an icy state. That's when a freak blizzard hit, but oddly enough, the calm eye of the storm was right over Kageru and Yuki, the snow coating only the wild fire. Soon enough, the fire and electricity disappeared, and the blackened ashy ground was covered in a foot of snow.

Yuki's hair and the snow flowers stopped glowing, but even so, Yuki remained unconscious minus a few small whimpers.

The man that had caused them trouble wasn't going to appear for a while. Yuki shifted slightly as Kageru walked, opening her eyes a crack. "K-kageru... I-i'm sor-rry..." she said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Why are you sorry? It's my fault you got hurt princess...If anything, I'm sorry..." he said looking down at her slightly.
