As Masa turned around, the wold zombie pounced her, she fell to the ground, the wolf's weight pressed against her ribcage, and as she closed her eyes in fear of the oncoming bite, nothing happened. She opened them and looked, the dog had pounced onto her sword [55DMG] and died from it. she rolled it over, pushing it off and ripping her sword out. [25DMG] She looked down at the dead beast befoe looking back at Batsu, "Anyone else get hurt? No bites?" She had gotten pretty beat up just now, but was still managing to hold herself together just fine.

Rai looked worriedly at the girl that was just attacked. He shook his head no in a response to her question. He backed away from the re-dead dogs and the now non-flaming zombie. He looked at them as if they might come back up and attack. He looked around for the others. Just then he noticed the extra person in the group and bowed. He turned his attention back to girl with the sword. He watched cautiously to make sure that she didn't kill him just to get him out of the way. He shook his head once more at the ridiculous thought. 'At least I didn't get in her way thankfully. I would have been eaten too if I had.'

Batsu peeked from around the corner once Masaraku yelled out. It must've meant that the zombies were all defeated. Batsu crawled out from behind the car and stood onto his own two feet. The boy dusted himself off and glared at Masaraku. "Can you continue? As much as I hate to say this, I don't want you to get knocked out. You're the strongest one here." That was definitely painful. He didn't really get along with the female... but truth was truth. "... and no. The only one hit was you. Do you need my help?" The boy couldn't help but look away. The fact that he admitted what he did left a sour taste in his mouth. The girl's ego was big enough now and he felt as though he made it swell that much more.

Masaraku's ego switch was turned off, she was on mission, cold-hearted, serious, and to the point. "I don't think I could take another beating like that, between the burns and my armor being pretty beat up." She thought for a moment that the weight of the wold may very well have crushed her sternum. "I don't want you to use all of your chakra this early in the game, but I could us a boost." She looked at the new kid, she saw the terror reflecting in his eyes. How long would he last?

Batsu walked over in front of Masaraku. He stopped, turned to her as his hands flashed into certain handseals. As he stopped, a green tint glowed on his hands and he slowly put them against Masaraku's chest and he closed his eyes. Good thing he was under Mayumi's care, because he developed the skill to use his chakra to detect if something was outta whack. The boy was doing just that in regards to Masaraku complaining of her chest armor.
After a while Batsu pulled his hands away and the chakra flow to his hands ceased. He opened his eyes and looked up at Masaraku. "It is a simple stain, nothing more. But I advise you to take it easy. I repaired your muscles, but even so. More blows like that and it will be out of my control. Be careful." The boy then ran back to the back of the pack, his original post."I'm ready when you all are."

West: Lvl. 5  Lvl.5  Lvl. 5  Lvl. 1 For those on the west side of town, things had been relatively quiet, that is until four separate zombies caught their scent. From a nearby apartment burst two Zombies, both going right towards Rango, meanwhile a third came down the street, it's arms outstretched towards Dango. And lastly came the fourth which came from a side street behind the Shinobi, it's jaw already mving as it wanted the flesh of the smallest ninja. Cord: d20 (20) + 12 = 32 Autohit Cord: d20 ( cool + 12 = 20 Hit Kory: d20 (14) + 12 = 26 Hit Karasu: d20 (17) + 6 = 23 Hit (Maybe I shouldn't have posted sweatdrop )

Rai's eye lit up as he saw the glowing green chakra and smiled. He was always fascinated by medical jutsu's. He looked at his fan and made sure it was not broken. When he was satisfied he turned toward the girl after he watched Batsu get his bag. "I'm ready as well." He bit his lip and forced himself not to be afraid. 'No way are ZOMBIES going to get the best of me. NO WAY! NO HOW!!... I hope..' He rubbed the back of his head and ruffled up his hair. He almost bounced on the tips of his toes ready to get a move on. He put the fan on his back and zipped up his coat so it wouldn't fall out while he ran but loose enough to be easily grabbed if needed.

Mizuiro wasn't going to go down without a fight. He would slice everything up that came his way. he wasn't going to fall to some brainless rotting shinobi who were too weak to not become this way. The infected blood was still dripping from the kama's blade, he was reading for more.
He just made sure nothing sneaked on them this time round.

The weaker brother watched the rear and the stronger focused on attacking. Kory removed the Aian Nakkuru from his back and launched a Taren at each of the three zombies. One after the next they all fell to the combined might of the brothers. When the zombies had fell Kory turned to the boy and said, "The last one is yours. Prove your worth kid."

But still he acknowledged the older of the brothers with a nod. He was holding the naginata in front of him like he was going to hold the zombie off with the shaft. But then he thought letting it get that close is risking contact and that was when he lifted his leg to push the zombie away in the form of a kick to the chest. Bracing his hold on the naginata he would pivot on his heel and spin around to get extra force with the weight of the naginata. Bringing the blade right to the left hip of the zombie, more than likely severing him in two. "I should have picked a smaller weapon.." He grumbled. His choice in weapons was bad but he would still utilize what he had. It was better than taijutsu in this case. Damage: 14 [[Well one more attack and Karasu is done for. >.>]]

Tenshi made a clone as he was told, although it wasn't his greatest work. Zombies didn't know better right? They pretty much attacked whatever they saw. The clone looked a little paler than him, even his clothes looked a little washed out. Tenshi shrugged his shoulders and let the clone do its own thing. His clone walked out in the open, hand on the hilt of its blade, although it wouldn't do much good anyway. Tenshi, kept the smoke ball close by. He wasn't sure if he should use it right away or save it in case they needed a quick escape. He reached behind him and placed it in the compartment inside his kimono's obi for safe keeping. "Would it be better to hide together or separate?" he whispered over to Keon. Either way had their positives and negatives, it was just a matter of choosing.

Masaraku nodded her head at Batsu and said, "Thanks." Then she began to head down the road. "I would like to avoid the center of town if at all possible, but that seems unlikely to happen. We are supposed to be assisting the authorities, if we can find them. There should be a police station on here or something. Military base. Hospital. Mall. We need a place where they would have a good defense." She pulled out a map of the city that they had been given at the briefing and looked it over ... not one of her best skills.

The surname slipped through her mouth awkwardly, as she had never heard of it before. Kaede hoped she pronounced it correctly... she wouldn't want to offend someone who seemed polite and very nice. And apparently rather fearless and energetic, going by his excitement at the prospect of battling a contagious virus and the virus victims who were said to be superhuman... it was rather admirable really. She wished she could be as strong and confident as Fubuki-san was.
Just stick together and communicate, huh? I hope it's as easy as he makes it sounds...
The one the others were all calling Shinzu-sempai though... he seemed to be in a league all of his own. The way he calmly analyzed their situation, composed a battle plan in mere minutes, and then voluntarily take up the most dangerous position... it was a sound conclusion to come to. And to decide to carry it out without showing any signs of breaking down? No wonder he's the squad leader. His leadership made her feel as though their team might really might be able to complete this dangerous mission in one piece despite their inexperiences.
Kaede accepted the smoke bomb Shinzu-san offered with a gracious bow and a murmured thanks. It was the first time the girl had ever touched one, much less use one though... she suppose she could examine how the others will use their smoke bombs before actually using her own. That way, she won't accidentally prematurely set hers off and waste it. Yes... this probably for the best, she decides.
"Uhm, y-yes I can p-perform the Bunshin n-no Jutsu," she replied to Shinzu-san's inquiry.
Kaede then bit her lip, determined not to fail her leader and her teammates through her own incompetence. Her small hands nervously went through the seals to confirm her statement. And with a poof, 5 clones materialized by her side.
"H-here, F-fubuki-san..."
From her kunai pouch, she pulled out 5 kunai which she held out for her teammate to take.
"Uhm... a-and for you too..."
As ordered, she would offer another 5 kunai for her other teammate to take... Keon was it? The girl wasn't sure if that was supposed to be his first or last name. And since he wasn't much of a talker, she wasn't sure what to think of him... or just what he was thinking with that consistently stoic expression of his.

Keon turned the kunai down when she came to him. "No thanks. I'll stick to my tegaki" he said before turning back to Tenshi. "You hide with the girl and my clone, I'll hide with the clones of you and Kaede over behind those trashcans. Just in case they spot one group the other is still safe. That and I am a close ranged fighter. I should be good alone." right after he said that he threw the smoke bomb and disappeared from the group hiding behind some knocked over trash bins to the.

Seeing the five clones, Tenshi wondered if he should have done the same. Then again, they would all look the pale one and he would definitely stick out. He looked at the kunai in her hand, "Thank you!" He grabbed the five kunai from her, placing four in his obi, holding one in his hand. He didn't have much room in his secret compartment, though he hoped he wouldn't need to put anything more in there. He had his melee weapon, but having a kunai would prove to be useful if he didn't want to get close to the gory things.
He nodded when Keon gave his answer in agreement with the plan. Tenshi gave a small cough as the smoke began to rise around the area. "Over there," he said quietly pointing to a nearby vehicle. It would be stupid to hide in an alleyway. Though it was well hidden, their escape routes were limited. He flipped the kunai in his hand so it was pointing down as he ran over to the car and looked through the windows to see the area where Shinzu was headed and watched as his washed-out clone followed after Keon.
