Oh gosh XD Goodness I don't know if that's it exactly. She says it's because she makes sure to take care of the house, and I do know she's really nice and she's really likable.
But I love hearing about stuff like that (ghost activity, not ghosts flirting rolleyes ) My brother's friend has an old house with an obnoxious ghost that likes to scare them (screaming included), and I've heard other stories about some of the old buildings in my town being occupied. I'm fascinated --and scared as all get up when faced with it-- at the same time.

I had a friend tell a story on how her grandmother out west had a ghost in her house. It would levitate things around and once scared a guy out of the house. Something about how he could see into the kitchen and saw a piece of candy float out of the container and around the kitchen. Dude flipped out and ran away.

Pervy old man ghost... rofl The worst part is you never know when he's watching you... gonk
I've never experienced any ghostly activity myself - my family have lived in the same house for a couple of generations, so I'd imagine any ghosts hanging around are used to us by now!
But my mum has a friend whose daughter has a little 2 and a half year old daughter, and recently they moved into a new house. Strange things started happening a little bit after they moved in. It started when the little girl had to go to bed. Up until then she'd always been very good to go to sleep, but suddenly she was afraid to go to sleep and started getting very upset when they tried to put her to bed.
She had a baby monitor in her room and sometimes in the middle of the night her mother could hear her talking to somebody, sometimes shouting "No!" or "Stop that!" ...and when her mum asked her who she was talking to, she told her it was "Milo" and that Milo was a "very naughty" little boy. She even drew a picture of him in typical creepy horror movie fashion.
Things all came to a head when one night, her mum was awake and could hear the tinkling sound of a bell on the baby monitor. Now, the little girl has a doll with a bell on it that tinkles when she plays with it, so she thought "Oh bother, she's woken up and started playing."
But when she went in to investigate, her little girl was fast asleep in her bed, and the doll was lying on the floor in the middle of the room.
*creepy music*
My mum's friend herself has a strange story. When her daughter was living in a flat, the place before where she lives now, she used to spend a lot of time there. She went out one day and the door to the flat next to hers was ajar. She thought this was weird, because as far as she knew nobody had lived in there for years. So she went to investigate it, opened up the door and looked inside.
As she opened the door, there was a long hallway, and through an opening there was the kitchen. The whole place was bare, but in the gap to the kitchen there was an old lady sitting smoking a cigarette. As my mum's friend opened the door, the lady looked up at her, and she was shocked and jumped out of her skin to see anyone in there at all, since aside from her, there was no furniture or anything. She immediately said "I'm sorry!" on reflex and shut the door and ran off as fast as she could in case the lady came after her and shouted at her.
Anyway, after that she just assumed that the old lady had just moved in and hadnt gotten any of her furniture or anything inside. But then she was talking to her daughter and her daughter was like "o___O Nobody's lived in there for years!" (which she had already known), and then she was talking to another of her neighbours and she used to know the old lady who used to live in there. Apparently she was a chain smoker and wore a distinctive coat, which the old lady she'd seen in the kitchen had been wearing.
And the door was always shut tight and locked every other time she saw it...

Kinda sad. I love, or use to love, the paranormal but since nothing really happened to me I just kinda stop. Shame too.

@ Lorika - Uuhhhmmm creepy much?? O_o
@ Dart Fled - It'll happen one day, especially when you least expect it. That's how it always happens, mine too. The parlor is in a new building, its the building that's haunted lol. So, fear not, you'll get something one day lol

I know. Of course it probably doesn't help that a good friend suggested putting pennies in a square formation in each corner of the room. Something about helping ward away evil.
I know that sounds like a joke but I trust this person, since they know what they're talking about.

I believe in the paranormal too, even though nothing has ever happened to me personally! I dont think it's a bad thing at all. Some people are apparently just less susceptible to being affected by ghosts than others. My mum used to know a white witch and that's what she said, anyway. It depends on the person.

Why do all the cool things happen when I'm not here, GAH!
I remember it fondly....I posted ONCE in the original thread.....ONCE. Then later I got an PM from Lorika and thought 'oh, cool, lets do it'
....ONCE! I could have missed the WHOLE THING. Panic attack from the past, if there ever was such a thing
On the subject of BOO robes.....after I got the ORO item, I believe I have NOT worn some sort of BOO attire for....uhh.....5 months total? I like mah BOO robes
And where would you all be without my strange style of posting excessive ramblings and .......s and having only one/two sentences per paragraph? Oh yeah, a little more sane
