Rosie looked down at her bag of candy, then at the empty pillow case. With a grin, she looked back up at him and shook her head. "Alright. I'll make it last all year." she replied.

"You don't have to do all THAT..." Joker chuckled, handing her the spare bag, "Just don't eat too much at once."

Rosie beamed and took the bag. "Alright. Sounds even better."

"I didn't think you'd argue," Joker replied, eyeing Sapphire Spider again. He walked up to the group sitting around, and said "How's everyone doing tonight?"

"Fine..." Sapphire replied, her tone light. It was still a little obvious to anyone really paying attention that she was not fond of the fact that he was here, no matter how well she kept her expression and tone conversational.

Meanwhile, Arell and C.J. both looked at each other, as if to silently say "Holy crap! This guy really IS the Joker!" and then C.J. looked at Sapphire as if to ask what was going on. Arell however, was enjoying himself.
"Jest a quiet night as usual. How 'bout you?" the Cajun asked. Making conversation with the Joker.

"Quiet night for me, too. But for me, that's NOT so usual," the Joker replied with a smile, more than happy to make some small talk with complete strangers.

Sapphire looked over towards C.J. and frowned a little.
Alex walked back over to the group and took her seat next to Sapphire again. She kept her attention on both the little girl gathering candy, and the Joker.

Looking at the assortment of costumes, the clown asked excitedly, "Hey, is this a party? Were you playing a game? Oh, let me guess! Charades? Truth or Dare? Actually, that last one would make sense. That's the name of the topic..."

Sapphire's eyes widened a fraction and she looked back towards the Joker. Oh, nonono...he was not playing truth or dare with them.
Alex, on the other hand, got caught up on the last bit the clown had said, and gave him a bit of a puzzled look.
And Rosie? Well, she heard the word "game" and "truth or dare". THAT caught her attention. She popped her head out from around the mound of candy and looked at them. "Game?" she asked.

"Topic?" Arell asked C.J., who pointed up. Arell looked up still confused. It was clear to see medium awareness wasn't exactly the big guy's forte. C.J. refocused on Sapphire. He could sense something was definitely up. It was bad . . . not like Arell and Red Cardinal in the same room for five minutes bad, but it wasn't exactly sunshine, rainbows and puppies.

Joker homed in on C.J., noting his awareness of that pesky fourth wall. "You get it?"

C.J. smirked. "Oh yeah." he said. "Blue kinda letters, too. Very nice." he drawled, keeping good conversation with the guy. He was slowly becoming aware that the guy was the Joker, but hey, it didn't hurt anyone to be civil.

Joker's smile widened. "Well, I'm glad SOMEONE with some sense was in here!" He was extremely excited that there was another person who KNEW.

C.J. smiled back, joining along in the game as Arell looked about as lost as a hunting dog with a head cold. "It ain't sense, it's awareness, amigo." C.J. drawled. A little more in his comfort zone from his dare with Misty and back in the game.
"I STILL ain't got any idea what dey talkin' 'bout, Artemis." Arell said to the cat he was closer to.
