Headmistress Lillian Van Nikolai
Lillian was overwhelmed by Fionna's improvement, it had come so easily to her. Lillian grinned weakley.
"I have to say, I'm jealous at how fast you're mastering this." She laughed.
"Fantastic work. You'll definitely be able to see Lucas next week. December might not be an option because of Christmas shoppers...though January, if you continue at this rate, you can probably go alone with him. I have to say, I'm really impressed."
She thought for a moment about what else Fionna could do, what else would show her being able to go cautiously near a wolf.
"Alright, since Lucas won't be quite in his mind, you'll need to approach him cautiously...so try lurking around a bit, trying hunkering down like large cats do, pouncing bounding, all that."

Those had frightened her the first time she looked in a mirror and looked at them, but she quickly got over that. Fionna could have squealed when the headmistress said she would be ready for next week, but it just came out as an excited 'mew' sound that snow leopards sometimes made. She understood about December though. It would be risky especially if someone were to see her.
She nodded at the headmistress moved around cautiously and hesitantly. She then proceeded to crouch down and crawled about. That was a bit awkward but necessary and doable nevertheless. Fionna next proceeded to pounce randomly. She chose a spot on the floor and flung herself in the air landing softly on her destination.
There was not really much space to bound in here but she went length wise in the room. She did this a few times before taking a last one back to the headmistress and landed on a stray piece of parchment. Her paw landed on it and she slid into the wall. She transformed back on impact and rubbed her head saying, "Ouch."

Lillian smiled at the cute mew sound and helped her out when he banged against the wall.
"I think, before we just go into the shrieking shack, you need a bit of practice transforming around there, and around another animal. What's say we both go down there now and practice for just a little while. Okay?"
Lillian wasn't too keen on the idea of going down late at night into the shrieking shack with a snow leopard who's never been there before. Just in case there was a loud noise, a creaking of the walls, Fionna might get shocked back into a human at a crucial time. And Lucas, well, wolf Lucas, needed to know he was safe around her as a leaopard. Her transforming back would spook him, wolfsbane or not, it would be a lot to process. At least, with the wolfsbane, he probably wouldn't attack.

She smiled a bit at that though. She would be sure to tell Lucas that she had had a fight with a wall. That was something entertaining. "Thank you." She said to the headmistress when she helped her out.
Fionna stood up and dusted off her robes and nodded at the Headmistress. "That would be a good idea." Fionna replied to her. Fionna left her bag here figuring she could come back and get it and she didn't want to leave it in the shack by accident, but she stuck her wand in its usual spot not wanting to go anywhere without it. Even when not at school she almost always had it with her in case of a major emergency. She couldn't wait until she turned seventeen to be able to use magic at will.
Fionna followed the Headmistress out of the classroom. Fionna realized that the Headmistress had said around another animal which probably meant she would also be transforming. Fionna knew the headmistress was a doe, but she had never seen the form and was quite frankly looking forward to it.

~3rd Year Ravenclaw~ Scarlet was finished with classes for the day, and as she entered students began to speak in hushed voices about her as the norm whenever she made an entrance. The young witch wasn't phased by any of it, and she took a seat at the table in the back corner of the room, setting her books and Kaspar down. Reaching under her cloak, she pulled over her head a heavy-chained necklace, one adorned with charms of all sorts be it a small mirror, magnifying glass, feather, or key to name a few. This piece of jewelry was essentially a Swiss army knife it it's own self, and though it probably weighed a million pounds on her neck, Scarlet didn't go anywhere without it. She proceeded to reach for a thick book, flipping it open rather wildly, and then sticking her face into its pages with the magnifying glass held closely in front of her eyes. Anyone who knew Scarlet well was aware that this was how she normally read her books. No doubt that it was odd and even eccentric...but it worked for her. Scarlet, being an exceptional student, always makes the effort to ensure high grades in her classes.

As he left the courtyard Rashid made his way up to his common room..what a weird day he had been having, first he tried to relax on the Hogwarts grounds..under the tree he most favored and ended up being snuk up, and spied upon..by that girl Lunaire Ashby..what a weird and awkward person he thought.
He shook his head, and stared down at the floor he was walking on..Gilbert was slowly trotting besides him, his whiskers and nose going a mile a minute as he sniffed as he walked.
His thoughts dwelled upon the way he acted to the girl..stunning her spider..he could have possibly killed him! And what about her? Holding his wand to her chest..ready to blast her with a spell that could have gotten him kicked out of Hogwarts..possibly in jail if it did more harm. But, she did have Gilbert..not exactly threatening the small Red Panda but he is all Rashid has at this school. Sure, he has some friends..some house members that knew him by name and respected him..but no one he was particular close to. Perhaps he should apologize to the girl.
As he walked by one of many abandon classrooms, he saw a fire lit in one..stopping a few steps foreword he came to a halt. Back tracked, and looked in. Squinting his eyes, he saw exactly who he was thinking about..the girl Ashby, reading with her nose in the book...literally.
He squeezed the bridge of his nose and sighed deeply. Snapping his fingers, Gilbert came rushing back to him, and looked up at what Rashid had his sights on.
Walking into the empty classroom, Rashid closed his hands and brought one hand up to his mouth, clearing his throat to get the girls attention, not wanting to startle her.

~3rd Year Ravenclaw~ Hmmm....Obscuro....a blindfold spell meant to bl-
Scarlet's thoughts were focused on a new spell she was studying out of her book when they were interrupted by a deep, throaty noise. Bringing her head up, she peered at the tall Wizard standing in front of her through the magnifying glass she had been using, her left eye enlarged irregularly through its lens. Offering the boy a sweet smile, Scarlet tilted her head off to the side a bit before speaking.
"Yes, may I help you Rashid Langtry?"
The words rolled from her lips gently, confirming the idea that she was still not upset with his actions from earlier. Kaspar, intrigued by the appearance of Rashid, skittered up to his usual spot on the top of Scarlet's head.

Rashid held his lips in a tight line, as he gave a solemn nod. Turning to the door of the empty class room, Gilbert jumped up on one of the classroom chairs and then onto the desk to get a better look at everyone.
Setting his bag down against the wall, he pulled his wand out from under his left arm. Pushing the wand in to feel the click of the mechanism let go, and then it slid out with ease. Pointing the wand to the door, he spoke.. "Colloportus", the spell shot from his wand to the door that was now closed..and magically sealed it. "Imperturbus" he said in a smooth rhythm, waving his wand back and forth at the ceiling. Now, the door was magically sealed and the room was soundproofed..just so no one could over hear there conversation or intrude when not wanted.
Turning his gaze back upon the girl, he had to think for a moment before speaking. "Well then..." He said, fiddling with his wand as he placed it back in its holder. "I..Just wanted to apologize, for the way I acted earlier..it was rude and uncalled for." He spoke with open words, emotions unguarded..
He did not want to seem weak, so he kept going "It was only because I don't like being spied upon! or having Gilbert in danger! " He finished a little to quickly. "Sorry" he said, his face getting a shade of red, but unable to tell because of the dull light the fireplace gave off. He looked at his shoes, not wanting to look her in the eyes. Apologizing was somthing he seldom did.

~3rd Year Ravenclaw~ Scarlet stared at Rashid for several long seconds before any movement was seen on her face. As if overcome by sudden emotion, her lips curled up into a wide smile and she jumped from her seat, rushing the tall Wizard and wrapping him in a tight hug. Being short, she was much like a doll in comparison to the boy's size, her hands not even reaching around his waist fully. Even so, her grip on Rashid was tight and she rocked him back and forth a bit.
"I accept your apology Rashid!"
She said in an overexcited voice, tilting her head to look up at him. She was still smiling, and her eyes were glowing brightly with a blissful joy that was strangely genuine. Kaspar had fallen off her head onto the table, and he crawled to the edge nearest Gilbert, making a soft, friendly, clciking noise.

"Ompfh" Rashid said, making a noise as the air rushed out of his lungs. "My...uh...well" He stammered. "Well thank you...Thank you Ashby." He said, as he looked over at Gilbert with a pleading look. The red panda had his head cocked as he looked at Rashid with tiny beady eyes. His whiskers went a mile a minute. '-Alot of help you are-' he said in his head.
He noticed she was still around his waist, and he could begin to smell the sweet fragrance that surrounded her. Her long hair falling over her face..wait..why was he even thinking about such a thing? He didn't like her like that.."Alright, that's enough" He said as gently as possible as he pushed her away, holding her at arms length.
He let her go, and began to make his way to the desk Gilbert was on..his back to the girl. He looked down at the little red panda, and stroked his fur..his thoughts wandering before he finally spoke. "Perhaps...maybe we could be friends." He said to open air, letting his statement hang. He was usually so self contained, so together..but this was unusual grounds for him, so he wasn't exactly sure how to act.

~3rd Year Ravenclaw~ Scarlet stepped back a few paces, her face falling to a frown that illustrated years of hurt. Her once innocent bliss had basically disappeared leaving a rarely seen, almost vulnerable state of emotional fragileness.
"Don't be so cruel Rashid Langtry...you don't have to be my friend just cause you feel bad...I'm used to it. Just ask Kaspar...I'm okay with just him for a friend."
Scarlet shook her head as if confused before turning away and returning to her seat. Expecting his gesture as a joke, she quietly went back to reading her book.

His mouth hung open as he saw her turn her back, and went back to her book..what a stressing and infuriating girl!! He held his hands up to the ceiling, and quickly dropped them to his hips. "I..what..what I mean is"
He took out his wand, and walked over to stand by her side. Making a small circular motion, Apple Blossoms meaning promise, and White Tulips meaning apology came out in beautiful bouquets surrounding her.
"What I was trying to say, is that I want to be your friend...and I apologize for the way I was acting." he said softly, speaking truly.

~3rd Year Ravenclaw~ Scarlet stared wide-eyed at the bouquet before her lips slowly eased into a beautiful smile. Reaching for it, she took it into her hand and sniffed the buds of each flower, sighing contently before bringing her gaze up to Rashid's.
"Thank you...I'd love to be your friend Rashid Langtry."
She said calmly, her tone an opposite to the usual hyperactive one. Scarlet soon found herself blushing like a school girl might after being dazzled by the hallway hunk, and she could only tame this behavior when her eyes were torn from the sparkling yellow and green gems that were Rashid's. She noted the odd flutter in her chest, a little scared at the new feeling and unsure of why it was there.

He smiled at her response, taking his wand up once again he pointed it at the door and undid the spells..the door to the unused classroom swinging open, Gilbert bounding from the table to the chair, down to the floor and scurrying out to the hallway.
"So..what do you want to do now? Any plans?" he asked, not having much to do for the rest of the night..and there was still some time before curfew

"Well, Ill be seeing you around Ashby" he said in a rushed voice.
Grabbing his belongings, I.e his bag and putting his wand away he made his way to the door.
"Most likely class, it starts soon you know" he said as a reminder. Snapping his fingers, Gilbert came right by his side and followed him out into he hall way.
