"Trick or treat?"
That thing was scary! Sammi had never seen anything like it. It was kind of cute, in a scary way, she guessed. What was it anyway? Why was it following her?

"Eh? A doll...? But Snowe is a..." He trailed off, shook his head, and decided that they would continue on their way. No reason to worry about it, he was sure that Snowe could chew on a doll as easily as he chewed on his seal plushies after all. Might as well be thankful for the gift since it wasn't a syringe, rock, or another pet to follow them around... the little animals were starting to get heavy now that he was carrying them as well as Snowe, "Thank you." He gave the person a smile before heading out back to the sidewalk, making a call to one of the Knox twins to see if they would bring him the stroller so that he could put everything in it and have his hands free. While this was good exercise his arms were getting tired!

Navidad squirmed in delight, as the next house procured actual CANDY. A nice little ghost-lollipop, that plopped into his bag! Of course, Navi didn't eat lollipops, but hey! It was candy! He smiled toward his father, still in his arms, and that little tail of his twitched back and forth happily.
"Yay! Look dad! Look! I got a ghost-pop!"

The kids walked over to a simple house with just a few ghost like statuses on it. Copper knocked on the door for the kids this time. Trick or treat they shouted. Two elderly people walked out and handed out pairs of google's. They kids thanked the couple.
Gabriel turned to his Nanny who also had kid trick or treating "ummm did they really hand out googles. The Nanny turned to him "This has been a strange night, hasn't it" she looked puzzled. Gabriel shrugged "TO THE NEXT HOUSE" the kids all shouted 'YEA'!

Todd giggled as he moved down the street, little paw-gloved hand clutching his Da's. Oh, he liked this holiday! And to think it happened every year...like a birthday! It was so cool! Undeterred by the bit of bad luck he had at that one house, he forged on and collected more and more spoils, his pumpkin bucket rattling as he swung it back and forth.
He took his cane from Cris and carefully moved up to the next house, wiggling happily from side to side as he knocked on the door. "Twick or tweat! Twick or tweat!" he yelled a few times...before they had even opened the door...
But clearly the occupants seemed appeased by his eagerness, depositing more candy into his bucket, eliciting a squeal of delight from the child.

"Oh! My! Look, Snowe! We actually got some candy!" Clover looked more excited then the bear did but given that so far they had gotten three pets, four if you counted the smaller one that was riding on the back of the other one, a doll, and rock, and almost a syringe, it was quite a victory on the part of Clover who was starting to think that this neighborhood just refused to give out candy! He gave a happy sort of sound as the candy was dropped into the basket and they were once more on their way with everyone happily tucked into the stroller that Atarah had brought to them one his break. Life would be much easier now... provided they didn't end up with to many more extra passengers.

Todd's ringpop had now made his hand and cat-paw gloves a sticky mess, though fortunately the boy had chewed it down low enough that it would be gone in a few moments. Thankfully, Cris though. Maybe I can wipe down his hand after he finishes. Otherwise, the kid was bound to try and grab him with that hand and...just ew. Cris could handle being slick up to his elbows with chicken blood or goat blood but sticky little kid hands and snotty noses grossed him the heck out. Ah, priorities.
Once the boy finished, Cris paused and pulled a wet-nap out. "Hey kiddo, let's clean that up..."
"Noooo, wanna tweat!" he whined, sniffing the air to try and determine what way the next house was.
"You can go up the walk after I do your hand...c'mon, it's gross."
"No, you gwoss!" he huffed, glowering as his Da pawed at his hand with a weird lemon-smelling wipe. He didn't like lemon, but he did want to go and trick-or-treat at the next house so he tolerated it. For now.
Once finished, Cris steered the boy towards the next door, waiting patiently as he knocked and made his familiar demand...
He got no candy this time...but he did get a super-awesome spider ring! Todd noted the lack of a sugary-sweet smell on this gift and fished it out immediately, waddling to his Da and demanding to know what it was.
"Hey, that's a pretty awesome ring! It's a spider. You know, those bugs with all the legs!" he said, putting the ring on the boy's finger.
Todd would never know how creepy a spider looked, but the boy understood the basics of 'many legs', hairy, and 'causes itchy bites'. It was pretty awesome...

As they moved toward the next house, Navi still in Vincent's arms, he was sleepy but happy. He'd gotten an actual piece of candy! Well, a ghost-pop, but that was beside the point. His dad must have been a good luck charm!
Meandering on up the driveway of the next place, he had a good feeling about the rest of the night..which was dashed by what the lady in the house tried to drop in his bag. Navi pulled away just in time so the eyeball dropped to the ground - where Vincent immediately picked it up and pocketed it.
"No candy again..." He sighed, trying not to think that it was probably a real eyeball in his father's pocket...
