No...that word rang loud and clear. Though Mitsu wasn't entirely certain what she was hoping Shun to say. It wasn't like they were really going out. Though this was sort of a date right? Or maybe it really was just an outing as friends. Mitsu wasn't sure but she couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Shun would probably never want her as a girlfriend anyway.
The waitress' smile brightened a little now knowing that Shun was 'free game.' "Well, I'll go put your order in and I will bring it out as soon as I can." Maybe a little too cheery the girl trotted off toward the kitchen. Too bad she didn't know what lie in wait in the shadows.
As silence over took the table Mitsu took hold of her glass of water as well but didn't drink from it just yet. No, she instead stared into the iced water hoping it would provide her with answers for what was going on this evening.

Shun caught that smile, but didn't make anything of it. Shifting a little uncomfortably, he glanced at his glass as well. Things just got a little awkward for himself and he was mentally cursing at the waitress for having to ask that question in the first place. Taking another sip of water, he looked back at Mitsu, who looked a little uncomfortable as well.
"Um... how have you liked this evening so far?" he asked, hoping to get rid of this strange feeling he was now experiencing. He felt like he really needed to go clear his head, but that wasn't something he could do here.
What exactly was this outing anyway?

The quiet was suddenly interrupted as Shun spoke up. "Oh umm, it's been exciting." In more than one way. "I really enjoyed the movie." Until she had dumped her drink on a troll. "And this place is really nice." Though the waitress was making her feel awkward.
"What about you?" Mitsu asked curiously putting the same question back in Shun's court. She was interested to know what the reaper thought of this outing.

Hearing her response was a bit of a relief for Shun. At least she was enjoying things despite the little hiccups here and there. Relaxing a bit, he looked up at her as she tossed the question back at him. He had to think about it for a bit, seeing how he had a lot on his mind in general at the moment.
"It's been fairly nice," he said quietly after he mulled it over. Despite the awkwardness here and there and the mindstorm he had been going through, it was pretty nice to be spending time with Mitsu.

Lizzy's family was not the richest where Demons were concerned, and it was impossible for her to actually take over the resturant by force or infiltrate it... At least, it seemed impossible. However, she was a regular there and knew the manager pretty well from her many visits to the resturant; it also helped that the manager was amused by Lizzy's "proposal" and wanted to see where it led.
Thus, after a quick change of clothes (they needed to blend in with the rest of the workers!) for herself, Xiu and Junko, she ushered them into the kitchen and handed them several 'name tags' - Lizzy was now Lizcardo, Xiu was now Yiu Long and Junko was now Jun.
Oh, and Miss Flirty little Waitress might had found herself being pulled into the cleaning closet by long, moving hair on her way back to the kitchen. She would then feel a dull ache on her stomach, hear someone apologize for something, before waking up a few hours later, hung up on the ceiling by some sort of silk.
At least she wasn't hung upside down.
"Junko, we'll need you to prepare a delicious plate of sushi, preferably with some subtle... Uh, hints of love," She nodded; this was serious business right here! Turning to Xiu, she then continued, "The two of us will be serving them - I'm going to change the music to something more... Romantic. You can find some flowers to decorate their table with?"
Looking mighty determined, she grinned, holding out her hand, palms down, expecting Junko and Xiu to put their hand on top of hers, "For love?"

It was a relief to hear that Shun thought the evening was going okay. Sure there had been a few hiccups along the way but it was turning out alright wasn't it? They were spending time together after all. If anything Mitsu should have been content with that...so why did she feel like she needed something more?
Also the incident with the Troll reminded her. "Are you still willing to train me?" She knew Shun hadn't been too thrilled with the idea before. He had actually been rather down about his ability to do so but Mitsu would prefer him over anyone else.
As time continued to pass Mitsu realized their waitress had been absent and hadn't shown up at the table again. Not that she expected the food to be ready but where had the lady gone?

Tilting his head slightly as Mitsu asked him about training, Shun soon nodded slowly to her.
"I am. I just hope I can actually give you some good pointers," He said lowly. The Reaper still wasn't entirely certain about how well he'd be able to teach her, "Just lately hadn't been too good of a time. I've had... a fair deal on my mind."
He didn't notice that the waitress was really all that absent. It wasn't that long and there wasn't much of a reason for her to come by when their food wasn't out yet.
"But perhaps, we can set up a time in a few days or so."

That sounded troubling. "Is it anything you want to talk about? If-If your not up to it I can wait." Mitsu really didn't want to say she would find someone else because in all likelihood she probably wouldn't. It wasn't really in her best interest to remain untrained or left unable to defend herself but she wasn't entirely confident she would pick up on a lot of things either.

Shun hesitated on whether or not he should tell Mitsu. Actually, now probably wasn't a great time for it. More likely than not, it'd just end up making things all the more awkward and that wasn't something he wanted right now. Not to mention that he didn't want to end up putting any sort of pressure onto her.
"Maybe later.." he uttered in regards of if he wanted to speak of it, "Now isn't really a good time to talk of it."

Junko was thoroughly impressed with Lizzy's ability to get the restaurant to let them run rampant and spy on their friends. Though it made her curious how they were going to do this; the three of them had distinctive appearances. Lizzy had her bright pink hair and small spider mandibles and horns, Xiu had her precious ears and her white hair, and she had...massive amounts of black hair and glowing eyes. While she did believe in Lizzy and trusted her judgement she was worried the mustaches wouldn't work.She was glad to help drag the waitress into the closet and let Xiu and Lizzy have at it, giggling at the way the ghoul was cocooned to the ceiling. They were then given their assignments and Junko sighed with relief, letting her hair relax from the 'mustache' it had formed on her face. No one would be seeing her. "I can do sushi." And she could certainly give subtle hints of love in food. She had tricks now! Things she knew worked! Well...they worked on Seiji, unless he was just being nice and humoring her love of silly little lovey dovey things. Lizzy put her hand in the middle of the three of them and Junko blinked. Were they...oh! She grinned and placed her hand on top of Lizzy's. "For love~."

This mission had suddenly gotten a whole lot more intense, and--despite the fact that she usually steered away from such situations--Xiu was really enjoying this. Of course, she did feel a little guilty for knocking that waitress out, but...it was necessary! And the whole Love Squad had mutually agreed that it was probably for the best anyways (hello, please don't flirt with one of the targets). At the very least, they had ensured that she would wake up safe and sound.
...Cocooned on the ceiling, but uh...that could be considered kind of cosy to some, right?
When the uniforms were secured, the Baku changed into them without any complaint, keeping her hair tucked up and hidden beneath the hat. Considering the shape of her telltale ears, she was a little concerned that Shun and Mitsu would recognize her, but it wasn't as if she was the only Baku in this town, right? And the fluffy mustache she stuck on her face was the perfect disguise! She felt like some kind of cool spy, like the ones from the movies.
Nodding at Lizzy, she whispered a "good luck" to the pair before darting out to secure flowers for Shun and Mitsu's table. Hopefully there was a store nearby or, if not, she would have to make do with arranging some of the wildflowers growing around.

"Okay," Mitsu nodded. If now wasn't the time to talk Mitsu understood. She had nearly said something earlier but had been interrupted. Perhaps now wasn't the time for her to talk either.
Grasping the straw in her drink Mitsu swirled the ice lightly as silence over took them again. She wanted to think of something to talk about but the only thing coming to mind was her feelings and what she wanted to tell Shun. So many things were running through her head simple small talk completely eluded her.
Off to the side a waiter was looking around curiously. It seemed there were some tables going unattended. "Has anyone seen Brenna?"

Nodding to Mitsu quietly, Shun soon turned as one of the waiters asked about the one that had been serving them.
"Our waitress? She put in our orders awhile ago," he said. He hadn't seen her since, but he still didn't really think much of it. Sometimes it could be hard to locate someone when people were moving about all over the place, working.
If she wasn't in the kitchen or the dining area, she could very well be in the bathroom or something after all.

With Xiu off to find the perfect flowers and Junko starting on the night's dinner, Lizzy double checked to make sure that her cap (with her hair tucked in underneath), name tag and pink mustache were on securely before grabbing a random dish off the kitchen table - a small plate of Tako Yaki with fish flakes sprinkled on top - and headed towards Shun and Mitsu, distracting the waiter who was asking for 'Brenna' by asking him to wait more tables on the way.
"Sir and madam," She - uh, he - addressed them with a polite dip of her head, voice an octave lower as 'he' cleared 'his' throat, "There was an... Accident in the kitchen with Brenna. I am Lizcardo, and I shall be your new waiter for the evening. As an apology for taking so long, here is a plate of complimentary Tako Yaki from our chef."
She was trying so hard not to burst out giggling; that would totally blow her cover, good disguises or not!

The waiter wasn't sure what to do. There was food ready for some of the other tables that Brenna was working and she was usually quick to get the orders out. When Lizcardo approached him he merely nodded. "I..I guess I can get the food out for her."
At the sir and madam Mitsu's ears perked at the slightly familiar voice but when she turned the lycan was confused. Maybe....she couldn't see all that well after all because this waiter looked an awful lot like Lizzy. "An...accident?" Mitsu asked her ears tilting curiously at the name given. Liz....cardo?
Turning to the food curiously Mitsu looked over the small fried balls curiously unsure what they were. She had never had Tako Yaki before.
