Dizzy sipped at her tea, watching the family. She felt so bad for them that they were going through something awful. And she had idea what it was.
Joi whimpered. "I wanna see Rain! He can't leave, Daddy." she started crying.

Vale sighed and brushed her hair. "Baby, I'm sure you'll get to see Rain before he leaves..." He murmured. "But he can't saty with us, he has his own family that he belongs to, would you want to be taken away from us?"

Estra watched the young pae, it seemed so long ago that she had to deal with children, even remotely close to that age

Joi pushed her bottom lip out in a pout and she shook her head. She'd never want to leave her family. "But ... but ... Rain said his mommy..." she whimpered, feeling defeated. She clung to her dad and just got quiet. It wasn't a fight she'd win and she knew it. "I say goodbye to him, Daddy." she asked, crying still.

"Yes, you can say bye, let's wait till they come out of the living room, and then I'll let you say bye okay?" He murmured and pet the back of her head. "I'm sure you'll see him again soon..." He smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Maybe we can arrange visits..."

Ala soon came back into the kitchen followed by Estra and then Thom and Rain
"The boys are going to go stay with Surion and Nani and their Pae'il for a while down on the mainland" she informs them

Joi starts whimpering. She doesn't know where this Surnani place is, but it sounds FAR. "No take Rain away!" She burst out and started crying.
Dizzy pushed herself up off her stool and waddled towards Vale and Joi. "Good luck with everything Thom. I hope whatever's happened is resolved." She glances down at the little boy still covered in bandaides and sighs softly.

Vale sighed softly and he put Joi down. "Go say goodbye to Rain Joi-joi, I said you could..." He murmured and nodded, standing there and waiting. "Good luck you two, please do not stay away too long..."
