stare
This was the look on Roch's face as he watched his VP storm out of the room like a little child. The hissy fit pissed him off, sure, but not because of her looking like an a** in front of everyone. "Jackin' hypocrite," he muttered darkly, crossing his arms over his chest. "Sorry about that," he said to the room at large. "I'll have a little... talk with her later." In other words he might have to find a new vice pres. Well that sucked. But it wasn't as if she really DID anything now, so--
"Demi, you wanna be my partner? If we win I'll let you pick a prize and the second highest earning team pick one, too," he said. It wasn't as if he was going to take one of his own prizes to give out, after all.

Moure couldn't help but return the grin when Ren began talking again. He gave several nods. "Indeed we do. I still never got that chance to race you during Open House, after all." He said with a chuckle. The second in command of that booth, LW, had mentioned that Ren was an awesome racer, and Moure was eager to see if that statement from the werewolf had been true. "We definitely need to race sometime. And just...hang out." Usually Moure wasn't one to just sit around and hang out, but if it meant getting to race Ren (or even just getting to talk to the other boil as they were right now) then Moure would take the time to attempt to do so. At the mention that he was in the Scario Kart Club (whenever it got itself running), Moure gave a grin. "Awesome. I can't wait for it's next meeting then." Moure wasn't actually sure if the Scario Kart Club had actually had a meeting yet, but whatever the case, he was looking forward to it.
When Edel spoke up again and then gave him a grin while she was speaking to Ren, he gave a nod and a thumbs up. When Ren responded, Moure gave another nod and replied with a grin. "You bet I will. After all, she was pretty good even without knowing how to play, so I don't think it'll be too tough to teach her." It seemed to Moure that Edel did have promise to be a great Scario Kart racer, in all actuality.
He turned back to Edel herself, listening to her as she spoke about signing up for things, but that she might find a school tour useful. Moure gave a nod and a slight grin. "I can give you a tour after I teach you how to play Scario Kart, then. Or before. Whatever you want really." Helping people out was always something the patchwork was up for, so being able to also give her a tour made the first Errand even more enticing. As she spoke of when she was open, Moure took a moment to think, then nodded. "I should be free either day. Want me to bring the game over to your room, or do you want to just come over to mine?" In all actualities, Moure was usually free. It was just that the patchwork usually went out and FOUND Errands to run when he was, in fact, 'free'. He would resist doing so though, so that he could teach Edel how to race. Moure couldn't help but smile when Edel so brightly responded to the question about the Nyan-cats. He gave a slight laugh and responded, "I'm glad to see you found some, then."
Then, Roch was explaining the game. Which was an instrument game, just as Moure had thought. Well, he'd just have to tag along or carry someone's things then? Or was he not allowed to play the game anyway as he didn't, you know, have an instrument to use.
And then Danny relatively exploded. (And dented a wall, apparently.) As she left, Moure started to stand (he knew how to deal with her tantrums, after all) but the Runner then noticed that Ren had stood and was following her out. He hoped that Danny would take it alright...he knew how pouty she could get.
He'd have to check up on her after the meeting.
When Edel gave him a look that seemed to ask if they could please leave, Moure realized that they probably thought he could play an instrument. Looking between the frost demon and the gryphon, Moure said slightly sheepishly, "Confession time. I actually don't play any instruments. I'm just the Errand Runner, really." He would still go with them if Edel and Ren wanted and, who knows, maybe just carry their stuff?
He should probably really check up on Danny, after this...

Danny was busy flipping her fire hand on and on (a sort of pensive habit, like clenching and unclenching a fist) when Ren lazily waltzed out in front of her. Danny's eyes went wide and she thought, Finally, someone who's sane enough to agree with me. At least there were SOME good people in the world!
Danny's expression quickly changed as Ren's hand slapped onto the wall and he took on a serious tone though. The poor fire ghoul couldn't even get in a word to argue with him (not that she would've actually had any intelligent arguments to counter with).
Ren's words did actually have some meaning to her. Well not the stuff about her being an embarrassment- she could easily care less about that. It was when he explained that people wouldn't stick around for the club if she didn't calm down. That was something she didn't want. Not at all. She couldn't do that to Roch either.
Still, it wasn't like she could just waltz back into the room and say "Hey Edel! I love you now! Let's be best friends!" That certainly wasn't happening any time soon- if ever.
So instead, Danny stood beside the door listening to Roch's announcement about how they would need partners. Something about a fundraiser ... She didn't catch more than that.
Then she caught Edel asking Moure to be her partner. Oh no. No no no. Noooo. No.
Not even thinking, Danny walked into the room and hoisted Moure over her shoulders. It was really awesome that Moure was made from such light parts (runner and what not). She would have to thank his maker later. Danny carried Moure back over to where Roch was sitting (in her original beanbag) and set him down next to the chair. She sat there with a pouty look, as if to say "This is mine, not yours." Out loud she said, "Moure is my partner."
Little did she know that she had just screwed herself over by picking the one member of the club that couldn't play an instrument. Applause to Danny please.

Demi was caught off guard by Roch's request to team up, even more so than the little fire and ice ghoul fight over the runner patchwork. He just sighed and kept his physical space between them, no need to get involved in that.
But the request from Roch did raise his eye in interest, it sounded like an peculiar match up, and he was compelled to give it a shot. "how good are you at showmanship then Roch?" he asked warily, drumming away absent mindedly on his leg with no recognition of how hard he was striking his leg. It was just normal to him, whenever there wasn't a good surface around.

Mitsu was in complete bewilderment when Danny suddenly stormed out of the room leaving a sizable dent in the wall as she left. It seemed she was mad at or upset with the Edel ghoul but like Xiu she really had no idea why. When Ren followed her out Mitsu watched the door for a moment until Roch spoke up about the fundraiser.
It would only make sense that the club would need money to run, but this was certainly an interesting way to go about making it. Turning to Xiu, Mitsu had much the same idea. She wanted to team up with the baku, they had done rather well together she thought. Together surely they would do well again! At the girl's curious tilt of her head Mitsu nodded in a silent reply.
It wasn't until Danny stood at the door that Mitsu began to look nervous shifting a bit in her seat. The air around Danny seemed tense, especially when she charged back into the room to pick up the patchwork that had been talking to Edel, carrying him back over in a possessive manner. "M..maybe it would be best to go now." Mitsu said quietly to Xiu and Shun. "W...we can start planning what we're going to play and where." Reaching out she tugged on Shun's sleeve a bit to get his attention to let him know they were leaving. After that the lupine stood ready to go. She really didn't want to see a fight break out.

Roch grinned. "I think we'll get by," he said simply. "Danny," he said, turning to his VP, "I really, really suggest you ask Rikki to be your partner Because, seriously, speedy over there doesn't even play an instrument."
He stood, stretching. "You don't have to all do it at the same time, just do it before the next meeting, if you can. And if anyone has questions or ideas for parties or games or something, feel free to send me a note over groanspring."

Danny was still in pout mode, but she was at least paying attention now. Was Roch insulting Moure? Oh no no no. If he was going to bring that thing into the club, there was no way he was going to witch about Moure!
Though his intention struck true. Moure really didn't play an instrument, and that wouldn't work well for the group. Danny bit her lip and said, "Okay, Riri can be in our group." She nodded at the group vigorously to try and pump her own moral. Ren was right- she couldn't be the grumpy leader. That was Roch's job!
Danny turned to Moure and whispered, "We'll find something you can do, I'm sure." Just because he couldn't play didn't mean he was useless! Danny certainly wasn't going to lose to stupid Roch after all!
With that, Danny stood up and dragged out another box of minipets. Nervously she looked and everyone and said, "Wi-winners can pick stuff from here too!" She was about to be outdone by Roch. She obviously had the prime minipet.
Since her job for now was done, Danny plopped back down onto her beanbag and stretched her legs over Moure. She found that if she focused on everyone else, she could sort of pretend that Edel was a doll. A really ugly doll. A really ugly doll that emitted cold. This was going to be difficult.
