Xander looked a bit worried but he nodded and reached out for Chris's hand once more, blushing as he looked up at the top of the escalator. When the second floor came in sight he saw that there were at least a few more people in this area than there was when they were walking around on the first floor. He searched out the Chinese joint first and bumped his hip to Chris's to catch his attention.
"It's right over there." Xander smiled, his grey eyes darting over to the other boy.
He wasn't sure what to say about Chris' house hunting. It wasn't as though he really had a place to offer, because he was begging a bed off of someone else to begin with. So instead he squeezed the other's hand lightly and offered him a bright smile.
"I'm sure you'll find something, there's plenty of places in this town. Nice apartments too from what I've seen."

Chris smiled and nodded some as he said "Yeah, I've heard about a couple places that seem pretty nice.. I just need to find whether they have any vacancys or not..."

"And no roaches." Xander added, "Trust me, you don't want to wake up in the middle of the night to feel those creeping over your toes. Or even worse your face."
A shudder ran up his spine and he shook his head as if to make the remnant memories of scuttling feet on his cheeks to go away.
"Okay, happy thoughts. At least the Chinese joint doesn't have many people in line."

"Looks like there's only a couple people..." Christopher said with a nod as they made their way through the food court.

Xanader looked at the list of food stuffs and smiled as he made his way to the counter, ordering the chicken chow mein and a few other side dishes. He leaned in slightly to Chris and murmured softly to him.
"What do you want, I'm buying."

Xander shook his head. "I'm taking you away from your house hunting, I can at least buy you lunch."
He wanted to do something impulsive and flirt but he didn't have the nerve. Just holding the other boy's hand made him flustered enough as it was.

"Oh fine... if you insist...." Christopher said before turning to look over the list of food items. After a moment he placed an order for seasame chicken and rice. "I'm already pretty sure of where I might stay though... so it's really no trouble... I heard something about a nice boarding house type place ((which I'm gonna create as soon as I can be bothered to make up a description)) and from what I understand, the place is pretty much empty...."

"Boarding house?" Xander blinked in slight confusion. "Does that mean that it's used for students and the like?"
He passed the money over the counter to the server and waited for the food, able to smell it from back wafting around to them and tantalizing them. Grabbing an extra pack of soya sauce he smiled to Chris.
"If you like I could come and visit you sometime too."

"A boarding house is just a big house that one person owns and rents out the rooms of..." Christopher explained, he smiled as he continued "and I'd really like you could come visit me sometime.."

TOshi giggled and pulled Makoto through the doors of the mall, one of the side entrances near a popular preppy clothes store. Woooow...she muttered, eyes scanning the surroundings. This place is biiiiig...

Makoto nodded, looking around the place. Almost as big as our old house, he chuckled, grinning widely. He held onto Toshi's hand tightly as he waited for her lead.

I only WISH Our old house was a mall!! Toshi giggled, sort of dragging him along as she ran excitedly towards the candy store across the massive walkway.

Makoto chuckled, being dragged along behind his girlfriend. Yeah, I think Gaku would throw a fit if that was the case, though...he commented, pausing as he glanced to a lingerie store.

Toshi paused as well, ralizing that Makoto had paused. Koto?? she asked, glancing the direction he had before rolling her eyes and sort of side-kicking him in the rear. You don't need to go in tehre, and you definitely don't have to drool!! she laughed, shaking her head slgihtly.
