Aislin frowned.

"I thought it better to try and gain entrance by my own means than to copy everyone else. But if that's the key then..." She set her shoulder firmly, her voice bellowing loudly and confidently. "I'm here to enter this tomb. Open the door so I can go inside!"

Firmness, confidence. This was the key, wasn't it? She was almost sure of it...

It took a lot of self control on pokes behalf not to suddenly face palm at being denied access into the tomb, but it was more the fact that she had embarrassed herself by saying all that stuff and was still not allowed in.

Everyone else had done the same thing. She could tell the Guard had not been impressed by her demand and was losing patience, but she was becoming irritated herself.

Still, getting angry at them would be a stupid idea, and she supposed that in the end, they were only doing their job.

She took a deep breath, sighing in frustration before holding her hands up in a sign of apology. "I apologize. It was not my intent to demand entrance into the tomb when I did not deserve it. I was merely trying to be bold as it was something the others had been when they were allowed entrance."

Her head turned when she heard one of the other students, a ghost ghoul with a hole in her neck had bellowed to them to let her in. She did hope the ghoul would get in, as well as everyone else who had been trying, but considering she had done something similar she didn't have high hopes.

Shrugging to herself, she walked up to the tomb again. If asking politely did not work, and telling them to let her in didn't work, she'd just try and go the other route. By brute force.

..They had said she was allowed to, didn't they?

"You said it was alright to try and open the door myself right?" She asked them in conformation before placing her hands on the side inside the door crack, Making sure she had a firm grip she began to pull and tug on the heavy concrete structure.

Did she have a hope in hell of pulling it open? In this form she was as strong as anyone else was, no more, no less. But she enjoyed pitting her strength against others or objects, and she still wanted to show how confident she was. Plus...it also acted as a stress reliever.

Herryk didn't much like being told what he could and could not do -- especially by a stuffy, grumpy door. He took a step back, placed his hands on his hips, and did what any normal boil would do.

Herryk snarled. At the door.

When he finished, Herryk spun around and skulked over to the western door. That was where all the action seemed to be taking place, after all. Herryk's icy blue eyes lit up with glee when he spotted the shiny stones scattered across the floor and instantly grabbed the sapphire. After vaguely listening to the voice that echoed in his mind, Herry immediately picked up the onyx and the opal.

Hum. One out of three on the first go wasn't bad! Vero surveyed the rest of the stones and plucked out Citrine and Cat's Eye next, keeping ahold of the Amethyst on the first go as its first stone.

The large and rather muscular boil that joined them was almost imposing in size to the little spirit. "Frustrated by the puzzles?" it asked almost timidly, if ever such a thing as "inflection" occurred to its voice. "An extra head is always welcome."

Herryk cast a sideways glance at the wisp who spoke to him. "Herryk is not very good at puzzles," he said woefully, turning slightly to glance at the northern door with the flaming wall sconces on either side. His eyes narrowed slightly as a snarl threatened his lips, but he fought the urge to bellow. He was still miffed that the door told him that he couldn't go in.

Sniffing, Herryk gave his attention back to the wisp. "Herryk just picked the prettiest rocks. Blue, for Herryk's eyes," he held up the sapphire before speaking again, "black for Herryk's hair," he indicated the onyx, "and this one reminds Herryk of his favorite Nanna." Herryk held the opal between forefinger and thumb.

He did not go in depth about his favorite Nanna, but it was obvious his favorite Nanna was special.

Its antennae twitched a little, perhaps sympathetically. "Our brain is at work, though our limbs are not," Vero replied, stretching out one such twig-thin arm for the boil to see. "All individuals specialize in different things. This puzzle is relatively simple, however; you should find no trouble."

Really, Vero had never known many of its kind to be on the bulky side. Vespians didn't really need strength when humans tended to fear their barbs and buzzings more than being mowed down by an overgrown insect - not that Vero hadn't heard tales of such things happening though.

"For instance, going with sentimentality when no other clues are given is a good start," it said, nodding to the stones Herryk had chosen. "Who knows. You may get it on the first try."

A type of key? Not copper or iron...a skeleton key perhaps? No, no others were entering without anything in hand. She scowled at the guards and then bit her lip, perhaps the key was a word, a keyword of somekind. She overheard others speaking trying to riddle their way in. She might had turned and decided it wasn't worth it until the guard told her what was inside.

Secrets and treasure, well what could be more tempting? Except...Sin didn't exactly have any need for treasure, but secrets those made her eyes gleam with curiosity. "Secrets..." She murmured softly as if weighing if it was worth continuing trying to enter.

"I suppose that why your being so selective...if you let just anyone in you'd hardly be able to keep your secrets." She glanced at the tomb again and then frowned. "It's not...dangerous in there is it?"

Furrowing his brow as the door reacted, Jericho blinked and put replaced the cats eye with the sapphire. With the sapphire, emerald, and opal in hand, he looked to see what results that yielded.

Then hearing a voice from the side, he looked towards the prospective student and shrugged.

"I'm just going with my gut here."

Sin held up a hand to stop the guard from answering her last question. She'd decided already, even if there was a little risk she wanted to go in.

"Wait, don't tell me I'm ready to go in danger or no. I'll keep whatever secrets you don't want to get out, but I want to see them for myself."

She seemed to have forgotten she hadn't exactly been invited in yet...except of course for the whole 'approach the tomb' thing but she had approached just not entered.
