Riley had meant to come back to the box before someone else had managed to enter. This had been her plan, but as soon as she took a look, she watched some reaper walking right in, and slapped her forehead. She knew she'd missed her chance, but that wouldn't stop her from trying, anyway. She headed for the booth in determination, once the boil was gone.

There was the same pad, requesting a code for entry. She remembered exactly which ones had failed before, which meant that eventually. Eventually. She would whittle the possibilities down until she found one that worked.
So she tried yet another one of the many possibiliies.

Before she had even finished inputting the numbers, the board snapped at her with a rather rude sound. Now, not only had she failed, but she hadn't even learned a full failing combination! The attempt was entirely useless all around.
Disgusted, she turned to go play games that wouldn't snap at her.
Hopefully.

Mo walked back over to the box and just stared at the box her hands on her hips. She really didn't know why she was back at the box but she was back again for the third time. "Third times the charm" she was hoping this was true.

Adyian walked by this booth again to hear that the phone was still ringing and he couldn't understand to who could be calling, but he did like the idea of getting a seed out of the deal and desided that he would try again to get inside as he walked up to the booth.

Mo got closer to the box her arms and face dropped she couldn't believe she missed that. Her tail was thumping against the ground as she tried to input the right code.

Starting to push buttons at random to see if any of them would open the door again for him. As he had been lucky the first time, but not for the second and was hoping that he would have some luck this time.

Mo grumbled as everything she did was wrong "son of a..." she trailed off as her tail thumped furiously away. She walked away wondering why she even came back to the darn infernal box.

Once again the booth didn't open again for him. Oh well he thought as he walked off and he would have to try again later on to see if he could win again.

Third time's a charm, right? Yroul stepped up to the box again, this time absolute in his determination to open the box up. Hitting it didn't work, so he figured that only putting in a code would work.
Or maybe trying to pry it off. He amused the thought, while punching in the numbers. If this didn't work, he would seriously try to open it by force. He wanted to be cool enough to open the door.

So, since the door refused to open, Yroul would make it open.He grabbed on to the cold steel door, and tried with all of his might to rip the door off. Granted, all his might wasn't much, but it was just a stupid hinge, right? It SHOULD be easy. It SHOULD open.
But the more he tried, the harder it got. He had begun to punch the door now, grunting and barking in a bear like fashion. This. Was. Ridiculous. He was panting by now, sliding down as he continued to pound.
Sorry Fonzie. He had failed.

Day three, try three. Wearing a rather serious and determined expression, Cuinn once more walked up to the Boogy Booth. When the evil blue building drew into view, he took a deep breath as though preparing himself. Time to suit up.
Slowly, one at a time, he rolled up his sleeves. Next, he put on the fingerless gamer gloves he had bought for the crane game. Lastly, he slid a pair of shades over his glowing green eyes. He was ready.
“This time, you’re going down,” he announced confidently. The Boogy Booth did not respond. All that could be heard was the perpetual eerie ringing of that sinister phone. Cuinn had expected as much.
The dog had spent much of yesterday wracking his brain for a way to break in without randomly guessing numbers. Clearly chance was not on his side, so he would have to think of something else. But what?
Gruffly Cuinn dropped to the ground in front of the booth. He crossed his legs and placed his hands on his kneecaps. The cu sith remained in this position, staring down the Boogy Booth wordlessly, for the next few hours. It looked almost like he was meditating…
((I am going to take a nap. Then I will do the next post. The entire time I am asleep, Cuinn is just sitting there. <333 Yay real time RPing! –shot- ))

Okay. Okay. He could do this. He just needed to take a deep breath, and approach the box rationally. Which was difficult by this time, since it just seemed like everything he did was failing. He tried not to dwell on such depressing thoughts, and instead focused his energy on the booth. Did it require a specific code? He had a book of such things with him this time, since the shovel had failed so miserably. It wasn't that Cervantes was stupid, it was more that... if he could solve something with physical strength rather than bother himself with thinking and complex matters, he would do so. If he rammed his head against a problem more than once without success, however, he would think about going around it instead of trying to push through it.
So that was where he stood, about to flip through his code book and try to figure out how to enter the booth.

Van opened the book, and started to flip through the pages, his hand working at the booth as he read. Every time he moved too enthusiastically, his claws scraped the booth's surface and made a horrible sound. On the bright side, the ringing was becoming a really obnoxious background sound that was bothering him less and less. Well, that is what he kept telling himself, anyway.

After a while, he realized that the book he was holding was not the one he thought he had taken. He finally clued in when the code he tried to grasp was "A dash of vanilla-- whip until peaked" and he was encouraged to read the header. Oh. It was a recipe. He was in the desserts section of... a cookbook?
In frustration, Van's nails pierced through the flimsy cover and through the pages. As he stalked away yet again, he hoped that he hadn't ruined any of the meat recipes.
