Jutsu Name: Uchigawa no kokoro no kyōfu (Inner Mind's Fear)

Jutsu Type:Genjutsu-Signature Jutsu

Jutsu Rank: C-A

Jutsu Description: After countless hours and endless nights studying the inner workings of the human psyche, Takasugi discovered something that plagued nearly every human other then the fear of death, and that is the fear of failing themselves and the ones they loved. Thus, Takasugi began to craft a jutsu that would play on this deep inner fear of the human race. This jutsu is activated when Takasugi makes eye contact with the opponent while holding a handseal. Once activated, a gust of wind seems to pass over the area and the victims eyesight blacks out for but a brief moment. Once they regain their sight, they are shown an image of a worst case scenario. For a Kage or loyal village member, they may see their village in ruins, for those who tend to lean towards more selfish means, they may see themselves defeated under the heel of their hated rival. As the jutsu increases in rank, the more complex and intensely personally the jutsu becomes.

At C rank, only a basic general image is shown, without too many personal details (ie A Kage's village in ruins.)

At B rank, people the victim has a great deal of personal connection show in the illusion, and the intensity of the failure is compounded. (On top of the ruined village, the corpses of students, friends, lovers and family.)

At A rank, Audio stimulant is added to further enhance the reality of the illusion. (The dead calling out, asking why they couldn't be saved.)

If the victim is able to realize it is nothing but an illusion, then they can simply Kai out of it or wait for it to run its course. If the victim is unable to realize it's an illusion however, then the sense of failure will more than likely overwhelm them. The effects of this in real life, causes the brain to shut down momentary(1 post) to avoid being overwhelmed, leaving the victim completely at the whim of Takasugi and his allies. Even after the brain regains function, the victim will often feel overwhelmed, and their fighting will be slugish and unsure as their self-worth is in doubt.

The illusion only last for a brief moment in real time, thus if the victim is able to snap out of it, less the a second will have passed since Takasugi cast the Genjutsu.

This Genjutsu tends to work better on people who are loyal to their village and their comrades then to just themselves, the more loyal a person is to their village/clan/friends ect the more likely the person will be unable to see through the Genjutsu as they become overwhelmed with sorrow and depression.

Jutsu Name: Suirou Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Prison Clone Technique)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu, Suiton ... (Private/Signature, Konaga Sai)

Jutsu Description: This technique was developed by Sai as a means to capture is opponents during his time as a hunter-nin for Kirigakure. Inspired by his favorite jutsu, the Boufuu Bakuhatsu Bunshin, Sai developed this technique to function much the same way, but with a twist. This technique was developed to pressure an opponent, playing on their fears during the chase... and when they are backed into a corner and they fight to defend themselves, their fate is sealed.

The technique creates a specialized bunshin clone, which unlike other clones is built to be hit. Possessing the full speed and agility of the user, it has only 1/10 the physical strength and carries none of it's own chakra to utilize any jutsu. When struck by an opponent's attack, the bunshin seems to burst into water as a normal Suiton bunshin would. However, in a split second after this initial deception, the water hovers and then lunges forward, enveloping the one who attacked it in a sphere of water as the clone re-forms, supplying the necessary hand to hold the victim in the Water Prison created.


Additional Details
- The Water Prison created works the same way as the Suirou no jutsu. It cannot be escaped or broken from the inside and the user is incapable of using chakra or jutsu from inside the sphere. The prison will remain intact as long as the clone's hand remains in the sphere.

- Any attack which strikes the clone after the Water Prison has been formed and has captured an opponent,will destroy the clone and the prison and release the victim. Otherwise, the Water Prison holds it's victim within the sphere for two posts, after which the clone and the water sphere lose their cohesion and the prisoner is released.

- Sai is capable of piercing the Water Prison with a sword without making the technique lose cohesion. This means that being caught in this technique can often translate into the victim's death sentence.

Jutsu Name: Tatsumaki Senpuukyaku (Tornado Whirlwind Kick)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu, Fuuton ... (Private/Signature, Konaga Sai)

Jutsu Rank: B


Jutsu Description: Created by Sai to provide versatility and deception, this technique can take multiple forms depending on what the situation calls for. After performing the necessary hand seals, the user's legs are infused with chakra and swirling winds flow about the user's legs. This gives the user a +1 [Active] bonus to speed. This effect will last for 2 posts, or until discharged as an attack in either one of two ways...

Whirlwind Kick: When the swirling winds make contact with an opponent, the force explodes off of the user's legs into them. The force of this technique sends the victim flying an incredible distance through the air about 50 feet away. The initial strike bruises the area strike and rips through the flesh on contact, creating a scar of swirling cuts and wounds. The real danger of the technique is the velocity the kick sends the user away at, especially if they strike a hard surface after being blown back. Such force after being kicked through the air at such speeds can easily break bones and crush a victim's fighting spirit.

Tornado Kick: Instead of discharging on a direct strike against the opponent, the Tornado kick discharges the swirling wind chakra into a six foot tall swirling tornado which speeds towards an opponent in a straight path at high speeds. If caught in the tornado, the victim is sucked in and tossed around inside, suffering a vast array of slices and cuts from all sides, some of them rather deep lacerations. After harming the opponent, the tornado dissipates, but the victim still feels the after-effects of the wounds and has their evasion decreased by 1 rank for one post afterward.


Additional Effects
Whether the technique is discharged or fades after two posts, the user's speed is decreased by 1 rank for 1 post afterward.

Jutsu Description: Nexus inhales on his cigarette until it is mostly ash and he swallows it. By focusing chakra on the flames, Nexus makes them grow and it creates large amount of smoke and soot in his lungs. In a large blast, Nexus releases it and sends a cloud of smoke and ash into the air, limiting vision and causing dehabilitating effects. (-1 more Stamina when using Techniques) This lasts for 3 posts and then the effects are cleared.

The ash can be set aflame once it is in the air by a C-Rank of higher Fire Jutsu and covers an area of fifteen meters. If a C-Rank or higher Water Jutsu is used or a D-Rank Wind Jutsu is used, the cloud can get wetted or blow away.


Jutsu Name: Burning Ash
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu - Private
Jutsu Rank: C
Jutsu Description: Nexus inhales on his cigarette until it is mostly ash and he swallows it. By focusing chakra on the flames, Nexus makes them grow and it creates large amount of smoke and soot in his lungs. Nexus then releases it and send flames, ash, and smoke at a target. The blast is sent in a small orb of all the contents, but it has a violent combustion upon impact. This is best aimed at the ground. If it misses and does not make contact, the contents just fall to the ground and the flames die out.

This technique can travel twenty meters in a straight line, but can be wetted down and rendered useless by a B-Rank or higher Water Jutsu. The explosion is about five meters wide and causes second degree burns. There's also a small concussion blast that will either disorient the target or push them back a bit after getting burned.


Jutsu Name: Smoker's Lung
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu - Private
Jutsu Rank: C
Jutsu Description: Nexus inhales a large amount of air and uses his chakra to change the composition of it by adding smoke to it from his bad smoking habits. Nexus then spews the smoke out into the air, trying to infect the target with this smoke. This smoke, however, is toxic and will infect someone's lungs, causing some bad effects. (-1 Stamina ever post and -2 more Stamina on every technique) This lasts for a total of 3 posts.

A C-Ranked or higher Wind Jutsu can blow this away, but this jutsu cannot be ignited by a Fire Jutsu.


Jutsu Name: Ash Bullet
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu - Private
Jutsu Rank: D
Jutsu Description: Nexus inhales on his cigarette until it is mostly ash and he swallows it. By focusing chakra on the flames, Nexus makes them grow and it creates large amount of smoke and soot in his lungs. This is then released in the form of a solid ball of ash and soot. Upon contact with a target, this ball explodes with smoke, ash, and soot all over, causing blindness for two posts, allowing for great sneak attacks.

A C-Rank of higher Wind Jutsu will be able to blow this technique away and continue on through. A D-Rank Water of Fire Jutsu will nullify or ignite this Jutsu.

Your RPC is only allowed to have 2 Signature jutsu at any point in time. Signature jutsu do not take up jutsu slots in your jutsu list. The other techniques would have to be marked as Private, but they WILL take up jutsu slots in your list.

...in order to drop a signature jutsu and attain a new signature, you must release the technique to the public, add it to the list, and put the old signature jutsu in an open slot within your list. The next Signature then requires an additional 5 posts to learn.

The steps above are meant to generally dissuade the dropping of Signature jutsu.

Both Ash Spray and Smoker's Lung are too powerful...

Ash Spray: I don't have a problem with the cloud of soot, but the Stamina Drain is too high. Also, it lasts for too many posts.

Smoker's Lung: Again, Stamina Drain is slightly too high, and once more, it lasts FAR TOO LONG. 7 posts is a long time. I'd say it lasts 3 maximum.

Uchigawa no kokoro no kyōfu (Inner Mind's Fear):

As a multi-rank Signature jutsu, you should know that this technique will be judged fairly hard. I could recommend submitting a C-rank version now and then returning later to upgrade it to a B-rank technique and later A-rank (as long as you have space in your jutsu slots).

This way you can put more effort into each rank and whatnot. Would you prefer this method?

Alright, I'll do that then. Though I'm not here sure how to pan it out...the effect is the same at each rank, the only difference is the illusion becomes more personal and therefore harder to resist.

No, it requires no body of water. The clone itself is designed to hold enough chakra and provide enough water to hold the technique for 2 posts. That's why it lasts for only 2 posts, because eventually the chakra/water provided in the original clone's creation runs out, at which point the water prison and the clone's form can no longer be supported.

Couple of issues with this:

- This seems pretty strong for a Genin technique and rather versatile.

- When you say surrounded by 'intense' flames, it needs to be quantified. How much damage would one take if they tried to escape through the flames?

- You mention these concepts of using additional chakra to make the flames higher, or to have the flames move further from the initial source, but you never quantify any additional chakra cost numbers.

- You say it cannot pass a certain range, but the max range is only defined as "Mid"... it needs to have a real number for reference purposes.

A few issues:

- You never stipulate if the cost is always a B-rank cost, but just acts stronger if the user is stronger, or if producing the stronger versions of the jutsu in fact costs more chakra.

- I also think launching 5 as a Jounin is a big jump (especially if they all equal the damage of the B-rank technique). Maybe 3 might be more appropriate... and the 5 for the S-ranked version.

I'm not sure what it is, but I have a feeling that this could be too easily abused. I mean, really, it is rather difficult to detect or resist properly, but it's balanced out by the fact that it takes 3 posts to set in. I wanna say it's fair, but at the same time I think it might be too strong for a C-rank genjutsu. Maybe bump it up to a B-rank?

Jutsu Name: Mizu Mukuro Suikomu (Water Body Absorb)

Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu, Suiton ... (Public)

Jutsu Rank: B , [Special Restriction: Can only be learned by Sp. Jounin and above ANBU agents and requires Kage approval.]


Jutsu Description: Originally created by the hunter-nin of Kirigakure, this technique was designed to remove all traces of a person's body from existence, leaving nothing behind for other ninja to find or get information from. Sometimes more accurately translation as 'Water Corpse Absorb', this technique can only be used on someone who is already dead. After weaving the appropriate hand seals, the user hovers a single hand over the body as chakra leaks out into the corpse as the body and everything on it, clothes, weapons, etc... are reduced to a puddle of water. Drops of water then begin to rise up out of the puddle and are absorbed into the user's hand until it is completely absorbed, leaving no trace whatsoever behind.

Additional Details
- No sickness, disease, poison or otherwise if absorbed will harm the user in anyway.

- Nothing is left behind... not a trace of metal, or a strand of DNA. They are gone.


Additional Effects
The user gains detailed knowledge of everything that the victim experienced in the last 24 hours leading up to the individual's death... names, images, numbers, a complete re-telling of everything they saw and experienced before they died. They also absorb the knowledge of the victim as it pertains to one specific subject of the user's choice. (Note: The user cannot auto-learn a technique in this manner, but they could absorb the knowledge necessary to recreate a Private or Signature jutsu and use it as their own.)
