Team Black
Ainsley took a moment to pause, using the back of her arm to wipe off the water that was dripping down her face from all of the water balloons that had been busting all around her. She smiled though, looking around as her teammates continued to pummel the the other team with the water balloons she was making. She tried to hurry as she continued to fill water into the balloons, not wanting to to leave her team without any arsenal.

With his arms full of water balloons, Sam was ready to take action. Running up and down the field, he shot balloon after balloon at each member of the red team that he could find. If he saw a flash of red, a balloon was going to be thrown. Though the boy kept a watchful eye out of any balloons that might be aimed in his direction. Sam had successfully managed to dodge a few, but he didn't mind being hit. Down to his last three balloons, Sam abruptly turned to make a run back to Ainsley for more. When he turned though, he slipped on the slick grass and ended up crushing the few balloons he had by falling on them himself.
But that was life. Sam just sat up and started laughing it off before he got up and carried on playing. No running away crying for this boy!

Peter grinned and gave Sam a thumbs up in return when he noticed him gesturing to him. He did feel a little bad about ganging up on Lily, though, so he would just have to find someone else to throw a balloon at. Who was lurking around not wanting to get wet? Of course, he looked up at Paris when the balloon was handed off to him, taking it into his hands. "Thanks," he said, glad that he wouldn't have to take the time to fill up another balloon for himself. It was just easier this way. Now... who to throw it at.
There was always Istas... but that would be mean. She was also young and hitting someone his own age seemed like a jerk thing to do. Instead, he took aim and lobbed it at the girl currently filling up the balloons for the red team. He crossed his fingers as the balloon went into the air, hoping to hit Castille.

Griffin had gotten totally into the water balloon fight, and utterly decked out. She wore a black shirt and black shorts, and had two black bandannas, one around her face in the fashion most similar to a cowboy, and another around her forehead. She also had black warpaint worn in lines under her eyes akin to a football player. She was serious business, and then some. She had seen Talia earlier that morning and her friend had claimed to be on the same team, but when that water balloon came hurling at her from her friend's hand, it was the ultimate betrayal. She was so hurt! Well, emotionally, at least, not physically. The water balloon missed its mark, and Griffin pulled down the bandanna that had been wrapped around her face to her neck so she could release a battle cry. Or at least yell at Talia.
"TALIA HOW COULD YOU?!" She stamped her foot and hurled every water balloon she had on hand (which was three) at her ex-friend. "TAKE THAT."
She was awfully proud to see little Ainsley filling up water balloons for the team, and Sam carrying as many balloons as his arms could hold. Black would triumph over evil! Evil, that is, that was team red and especially Talia.
With her balloons thrown, they hit their mark and left Talia quite wet.

Lily was soaked, really really soaked. Her usually tightly spiraled curls were drenched hanging loosely and showing her hair actual length. She kept a smile on her facing feeling really proud of how awesome her aim was, though with all the mud to slip and slide in she doubted it was last.
The boys, Sam and Peter had ganged up on her, but they seemed to have decided she had enough for the moment and Lily really couldn't agree more. She was certain her bathing suit bottom was probably showing through her light short. She took a moment to ring on her curls, before looking to the black team to spy someone who still had a dry patch on them.
Quickly grabbing another balloon, she threw it at the driest person she spotted.

Her delight upon seeing the water balloon actually hit someone was abruptly extinguished when several more water balloons splattered into her in a deluge of lukewarm water. Was that some kind of cosmic revenge for actually doing well at something? Not even... not even fair! Erika wanted to stomp off, but if Shep ever knew, he'd be so angry. Instead, she should keep it together. Keep it together and show them that she really could play this game!
Couldn't she? She picked up another balloon from the pile, and hefted it up and at the opposing team!
It wasn't exactly a stunning hit, but it still made impact with a black team member. Erika laughed, clapping her hands with delight, and was promptly doused with yet another balloon.

There was a sufficient pile of balloons now, and Castille rose form her aching legs, stretching them out before picking up a balloon of her own. She ran to the front lines, skidding to a halt in the dirt that had formed into mud beneath all of running and balloons exploding. She closed her eye and stuck out her tongue dramatically, choosing a target. Griffin came into sight, and she took aim, letting the balloon fly.

The child couldn't help but giggle as she seen Sam run off with many of the balloons she had filled, and wondered just what he was going to do with all of them. Could he throw that many at once? He didn't manage to throw any of those though as he fell within her sight, crushing a few of them as he landed on top. Oh no! She tried not to laugh but she couldn't help it! Instead, she went to bury herself in her water balloon filling job, making even more balloons to cover for her friend.

Sam was quick to return for more balloons. He knew Ainsley had seen him fall, which really only slightly bruised his ego. That wasn't really how he wanted his friend to view him! Sam wasn't normally klutzy. He just kinda laughed slightly nervously. "It's slippery out there."
"Thanks for the balloons. You're really helping the team! But you should try throwing at least one. It's fun, I promise." Then he went about proving that was the case, as he spied his neighbor Talia and promptly threw a balloon at her.

Okay, so now that he was satisfied that he hit someone, he ran over to where the balloons were being kept, frowning when he spotted the other two kids.
"What? Is this a social event now?" he asked as he knelt down by the pile of balloons. "Yeah, thanks, but you should definitely throw one," he told Ainsley, pausing to watch as Sam threw a balloon at Talia. "I'll cover you and make sure you don't get hit, okay? If that's what you're worried about, I mean." Because she seemed to be the girly type, definitely. If she didn't want to get even more wet than she was, he could fight off water balloons being hurled at her.
Peter picked up a balloon that was already filled and pushed it into her hands. "Go go go! You're part of a team! We're counting on you to kick butt and be awesome!" Or something like that. It was just a water balloon fight, after all.

Griffin hadn't expected attacks from all direction... although she should have... so when Castille's balloon hit home, she let out a sound of surprise close to an "eep!" and wiped her hair out of her face. Augh. She always had to fix her bangs and now they were wet. What a tragedy! Especially if there were any boys around. However, the only one she saw at the moment was Sam.
She turned to see the fellow resident of Hemlock cabin and she frowned deeply. "Castille!? How could you!!?" It seemed like all of her friends were up against her. At least she could try to get even. She wound up for the pitch and lobbed a balloon in the fellow junior counselor's direction.
Another hit! She pumped her fist in the air "Yes!" and ran back to Ainsley to get more balloons so as to continue her assault on the red team.

She was doing alright, but she figured now was the time to start aiming for specific targets! Only... Erika didn't really know anyone, and she didn't want to target anyone really small... In fact, that only people who didn't look to be little kids were all counselors, and she didn't know if she wanted to... to... you know! She didn't know if she wanted to victimize a counselor either.
Still, she had to throw a balloon somewhere, or else go try to micro-manage things at the Red Team's water spigot. But that seemed to be kind of well-handled, so she just picked a counselor--a blonde lady--and hurled the water balloon in other other hand that way. She couldn't bear to watch...
It impacted, which might have been a good thing or it might not have. Erika cringed, and while a part of her was celebrating the excellently-aimed assault, the rest of her was pretty sure she'd be in big trouble later.

Lissy had been swimming like she generally did several times a day and had completely forgotten about the water balloon fight! She had got back to the cabin and found no one about and it had only been then that she had remembered! She ran as quickly as she could to where she knew the fight was to be taking place and after seeing Adira and finding out what team she was she ran into the thick of it.
It would have looked as if she had always been there, her hair was still wet from her swim! It didn't matter too much though as she didn't take too long getting into the thick of it. The first thing she did was put the bandanna around her head. It made her look cool! Then she looked for anyone else on her team. Istas was there wearing a red one and ooo Ainsley and Peter were on her team. Awesome.
She ran to Ainsley and Peter and said a quick hi before picking up a balloon and lobbing it towards the red team.

"Sam?" She questioned.
He wanted her to throw a balloon? She couldn't possibly do that! She'd do more harm than she'd do good. There's no way she'd hit anything, and she'd only waste a balloon! She didn't have a chance to object though as Peter shoved a water balloon into her hand and edged her on. She felt her eyes staring down at the balloon and then between the two boys as she considered it carefully. Okay, everyone thought she could do it and she didn't want to let them down! She could do it, right? At least she could try!
She moved forward a bit, edging her way to Team Red. She had to find the biggest group of people to maximize her change of hitting someone! She searched and then when she thought she found the biggest group she was going to find she closed her eyes, raised her arm back and threw the balloon towards them with all her hope. She didn't want to let Peter down. She had to be awesome!
After a moment, she opened her eyes and looked around. "D-did I hit them?"
