Deon K. Zaraki
Scarlett lowering herself didn't effect Deon's next idea. Since Witchita didn't fall into his Vari attack he decided to channel that power into another attack. An attack he didn't have to worry about hitting Scarlett by mistake with. He grabbed both of his guns as he was falling and pointed them towards Witchita. He channeled the lightning in his hands into the guns as he pulled the triggers on both. From the guns emerged a giant dragon shaped blast of lightning. The intensity of the dragon's lightning was equivalent to 60 million volts. The dragon moved as if it was able to think for itself as it moved extremely fast towards witchita.

Wichita R. Pitt
The best part of the growing thunder clouds above was that, despite Deon being immune, his "ride" certainly wasn't. All Wichita had to do was stay lower than her and normal lightning strikes would target Scarlett and not herself. However, with probably the most annoying interference yet by this coward that rode on the dragon's back, it essentially forced her back into a dive, holding out with the distance that had separated them and relying solely on a particular advantage she had over both of them. It was at this point in time that the marine ships that were more recently arrived seemed to respond and become active in this battle. At least, now that it was close enough to, anyway.
(NPC) Commander Sever
"Tch. How pathetic. As much fun as it is, men, to sit around and watch our captain flail and stay on the defensive, we're not being paid to do just that. That said, load the special ammunition into the artillery batteries. Fire off a few volleys at the pair up there. Crews three, four, five and ten, deploy and secure the nets. Ten bravo, the rest above, you know the drill like we've practiced. Seven and twelve, be prepared to support the artillery batteries and act to draw off potential . Leave this "dragon" to me." Sever swept a hand through her short blonde hair, pulling it back as she reached for and drew a sort of spear. More accurately called a javelin, Sever waited until this "homing" bolt of lightning drew close enough, and flung the javelin with impressive speed and strength just past her captain's shoulder and through the wing. It traveled through and impacted straight against the lightning dragon, dispersing it. A perfect aim, Sever noted, and no sooner had she thrown it than did the volleys of sea stone carved shells rip upwards into the sky like deadly anti-air shot. Sever knew well enough that there were no dragons, so this had to be a devil fruit user. The lightning...well, given that lightning never appeared in a dragon like form, this would also be the result of a devil fruit user. Maybe they'd hit him with something, maybe not. Either way, as Wichita would no doubt reel from the spike and specially made javelin, that would be their opportunity. Their nets wide open, weights deployed on opposite sides to try and absorb the weight of initial impact, the plan was sprung into motion.
Wichita felt a sudden sting, and a flickering of her power, shifting her back for a brief moment. She had to start over, but it was too late, and she plunged headfirst into the nets drawn out by her subordinate. The moment she hit though, she instantly felt much weaker, and heard Sever's voice shouting something along the lines of closing the net and to hustle faster. Oh......well crap. I guess that's it for me. Tch. At least we got some. Still....why a seastone net? All this just to tell me it's time to go home? Perhaps not the brightest of the bunch, she didn't quite realize the severity of the situation she was now caught in.

Take to the sea and sky ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dragons were undoubtedly the fastest sky form in the skies. The fastest beast to tame the skies. Scarlett saw the woman fall. Deon, your gonna have to follow up...I've got a warning to give these ships. she said to herself nodding to Deon she rocketed down near the waves, the air impact rippling the water as she dived and flew above it. The tidal waves caught beneath the flow of air under her wings and she flew fast towards the boats. She flew up again and noticed the javelin, She was about to set it alight but dodging it in time was a big problem even at her speed. The Javelin had slashed the side of her tail with a rough blow as it flew into the air. THe dragon roared in pain for a moment and went towards the ships after the wave had settled from her last air assault. She roared out flames of fury above the boats burning the masts down tremendously. Scarlett was in a lot of pain, she flew up and away from their aim for now and had trouble flying. The tail of the beast was important, it acted as balance sometimes and with it damaged could cause trouble if she was knocked off course. She Flew higher trying to find the boat that held Haku.
Haku looked above barking and whimpering as his Master aimed to land on the boat, She had to be quick or else the marines would most likely target her again. Her form wasn't going to last much longer, she felt her energy seeping away, she had to change now or shed get stuck in dragon form. Nearing the stolen boat, she changed just above the ship, she couldn't hold the form and only thing left over from the transformation was the injured limb, which was the tail that had stayed with her human form. She plunged onto the boat with an almighty thud and blood gushed from her tail frantically.(Wanted to try and make a bigger post >.< will that do yah?)

Deon K. Zaraki
Deon was glad Witchita was caught in the seastone net but he wasn't to excited about having his attack dispersed by Sever. That was not a part of his plan. Neither was the volley of seastone shells heading his way. Regardless he wouldn't give the stones a chance to get close to him. He converted into and used his speed in that form to move out of the path of the seastones. Since Scarlett had done significant damage to the marine's ship and made it to their ship, he decided to join her. He reformed and landed on it. He looked towards the marine's ship and then back up to the clouds above. "El Thor," his eyes seemed to glow with electricity, as the clouds gathered together over the marine ship. The electricity within the clouds gathered together in the center. In seconds a huge and powerful lightning bolt came crashing down from the sky towards the marine ship.
(it was over the sea but we are on the boat now.)

(NPC) Commander Sever
Sever shook her head at the masts burning. How troublesome these peons were. One minute fighting her prey, and now allying with same former opponent. She glanced up at the completely fruitless attempt he had made in doing something to the shells. Moron. Typical attitude of a clueless renegade though. Has no idea how sea stone works. She still held her second javelin in a standing point, but from her casual stance, she knew that the only reason the shells had fallen into the ocean was because of gravity and nothing to hit. Common in cannon fire, and all his fruit's powers had done was fizzle and spark amongst itself in between the shells. "Batteries six and eight, fire in an arc over our heads." The fleet worked together to an extent that it was like fighting a fellow pirate crew....albeit a very large one. The shells ripped overhead, completely disrupting the flow of Deon's "El Thor", as he'd called it. How pathetic, trying to fight enemies with inferior powers. This would only delay the inevitable downfall of them, and Sever was more interested in taking in the one hare she HAD caught "Men! Douse the flames with the water, ignore the pirates for the moment. We have a bigger fish to fry!" With that, the men were on task, making human lines that eventually doused the flames. This still ruined the ship's usefulness, but there were more than just two ships, after all. Using a den den mushi, Sever ordered another ship to move into position to take over carrying the target and completely blowing off the "stolen" ship, or the pirates escaping on them. ((OOC: Hey, just thought I'd let you know Boutei.....stones by themselves do not conduct electricity. Similarly in the one piece universe, they still don't, and the fact you used devil fruit to try and have a different effect...you still used it on sea stone cannon shells. Devil fruit powers just don't work on sea stone. Forgive the slightly mocking tone of the post, but laws of the canon anime apply, and I'll not see them broken so completely.))

Deon K. Zaraki
Since the marines didn't seem to be in pursuit of them any longer he ran to the steering wheel of the ship. Scarlett was safely aboard and haku was by here side. "Time to go." he said moving the ship further away from the island and out into the sea.

Wounded by the blow, Scarlett managed to struggle to the side of the boat to help her up, Her companion whimpered softly licking her as she steadied herself. " guess this is a battle better left unfinished." she stuttered slightly, winded from impact. She coughed violently before steadying her breathing, she was going to be OK for now but the tail wound was enough to set her form back a few weeks during their journey. She went below deck and found some spare cloth, dousing her wound with it and wrapping it around her tail to restrict the blood flow, She wasn't in any mood to get Gangrene on this sip but luckily for her dragons were able to heal a lot quicker than the average human and she was glad the wound wasn't so deep as she has imagined.
It looked as if it was time to get going, this battle had certainly lasted long enough and they needed to set sail to find the rest of their future crew, to face the great grand line!
